Fantastic, the game begins. I wish Addaman was here, so we could lynch him for taking so long.

I'm going to jump on the "voting entirely at random" bandwagon and
Vote: Morpheus

I must agree with StD that morpheus is seeming a little scummy. It's possible he has his hands full with other games, but I think he should have at least stuck his head in here and given us something to go on. I was already voting for him, but my vote just became a little less random. It is the first day, after all, so we can't really expect a huge logical post, but a little note acknowledging his random(?) vote would be nice. Unless his vote isn't so random, and he's in cahoots with some other mafioso. He gets a big old FOS, in addition to my early random vote.

Let me explain myself. I didn't mean Morpheus was suspicious because of his random vote. Far from it. I meant that he was suspicious because he didn't give any explanation that it was a random vote, or, anything else at all, until I called him out. Whether or not he's mafia, it got him talking, which is rather the whole point.

By my count at this point, Otaku and Morpheus have 3 votes each, and Lou has one. You'd think Otaku and Morpheus were equally scummy, but let's look at where their votes are coming from.

For Otaku: we have a random vote from Tep, who's posted once since, and says he might need to be replaced; a OMGUS vote from Spookylou; and what seems like a legitimate vote from Morpheus. Now, Otaku did say
ok, that was majorly scummy. unvote:tep vote:spookylou
A little scummy, except he was talking about wanting a deadline, which is a reasonable reason to vote someone.
what was sucmmy was asking for a deadline... sorry about that.
So Morpheus doesn't really have much to stand on there.

Speaking of Morpheus, he has: My initially random vote, which became an actual vote when he got all angry at me and my vote; StD, who seemed to be mostly agreeing with me, with a side of OMGUS; and Dutchman, who explained himself quite well enough in his own post.

I don't mean to sound scummy (not that anyone ever
means
to sound scummy) but we have to lynch someone. Otaku and Morpheus are both one vote away, and I think that Morpheus is more likely to be scummy than Otaku. If, in fact, you are not scum, now is about the time to start defending yourself, Morpheus.

Hey, Nonny! Welcome aboard! Unless you're scum, in which case you're not welcome at all. :D

I'm beginning to think that we should be a little more wary of Spookylou. She did cast the deciding vote to kill Morpheus, but somebody had to do it. Like Dutchman said, he didn't defend himself, and no one else did either. So the vote was not too scummy, which means it would be the perfect time for scum to cast a killing vote and get away with it. She also seems entirely too defensive. She's attacked everyone who finds her suspicious, and seems to be trying to bring the Cop out. I don't think I have enough for a vote, but I will point a big FOS at Spookylou.

You know, mafia usually do try to target the innocent. It wouldn't make much sense for them to target themselves now, would it?

Vote: Spookylou
