Hey, I joined this game because mutant and norwegianboy are in it, EE forums rise up!

Norwegianboy is town. Mutant is scum. Joey comes across as weak town or cautious scum. Didn't pay much attention to anyone else.

Pisskop knows what he's talking about: allow me to elaborate. Mutant's mindset is a bit like mine when I used to play a lot. He's somewhat confident in himself, and knows he can be a somewhat respectable member of the town, and he's trying to emulate it as mafia with that opening rvs post.

I don't give a heck if he made a "good response", it's not that hard to wallpost as scum.

I would know, I'm a terrible mafia player, and I do these things all the time as scum. (I'm also a terrible town player, but that's a story for another time)

I think I heard somewhere that statistically a mafia lynch day 1 usually requires bussing. But we don't have a mafia lynch yet, and it's still day 1.
The idea that pisscop is bussing mutant is neat. Does it hold any weight? I don't know, let's wait for the flip.

I don't think it's a good idea to look at the nominations and think "this is probably TTT, let's lynch the lazy guy". If you look in the history of this game, scum almost always nominate one of their own on the second day. If any of the three of these folks start saying "I'm town! I was nominated on day 2, remember?" that means absolutely nothing and deserves zero towncred. If anything, it's a point against them.

Let's at least for the sake of making this day useful and productive pretend that at least one of them is scum, even if you really think that they're all town. Who's the mafia in titus / norwegianboy / correspondence? It's literally never correspondence, that's the compromise bait vote. Mafia get pseudo nightkills on even days, and if I was scum oh heck yes I would nightkill correspondence for the absolutely zero information given to town. I'll get to what I'm getting at. We go into the day. Titus is supposed to be the strongest person in the lynch pool, gets self nominated as scum. Norwegianboy just mishammered, and correspondence is afk. EZ mislynches in the bag, free towncred incoming.

Things don't go as planned, no one buys the correspondence thing, and norwegianboy doesn't catch on either. Momentum swings to titus. Scum partners (in union with the rest of the gmae) start calling titus scum and get ready for the bus. Titus as scum with daychat knows she's being bussed, and starts playing the giving up routine instead of actually fighting like mutant did. Lines up, doesn't it? And it's not too crazy of a story. Doesn't rely on specific associations with any hypothetical partners, and it explains her current behaviour.

What does titus have to do to say she's been set up? She needs to call me scum.

Even if it's TvT titus is still the better lynch because she's been more proscum, burying mutant AND asking for intent. Also imagine nominating norwegianboy as mafia after he makes that hammer and then NOT even bussing him or anything, just going right to correspondence. Also his posts are more genuine then joey makes them out to be imo. Norwegianboy's response to being nominated made no sense to me for a bit because I wasn't looking at things more objectively, but now that I read through his iso, he's like in his own world of distress at being nominated that seemed totally alien to me because I was considering him as a possible scum, when in reality he was upset town. He keeps up the act so long without any positive feedback that the simplest answer isn't "he's mafia faking a reaction", because he was getting no positive feedback or townreads from it, really he was actually just having the stress.

Obv the d1 titus was bad, I haven't iso'd her d2 that much, but if we're going to lynch someone for securing a mislynch, it shouldn't be titus, it should be norwegianboy for day 2 play trying to setup PM as tomorrow's mislynch, instead of titus securing the mislynch on mutant, also pushing titus agenda without actually contributing anything.

Also, is PM town? You got any thoughts on that? iirc you brought it up earlier but I'm reading PM and sure he's low charisma, but also his actions aren't really that scummy except he's lurking? Anything on the top of your head there?

Unless of course you want to take the menalque route and think that the entire scumteam IS the norwegianboy wagon. Think about it, when titus flips town it would be so funny if the entire scumteam was pushing to save titus and lynch town norwegianboy who is objectively an easier lynch as guiltylion points out. If you want to know who I am talking about when I say titus wagon needed a lot of encouragement, please refer to 590, where I point out how everyone is OK with lynching titus but then also they weren't voting on her. If you want to know who specifically, the people in orange were guiltylion, creature (since flipped), you, and pisskop that needed encouragement voting on the wagon. Even after menalque kept saying "vote vote vote" it took a lot of time.

Part of the reason I just laughed you off is because making a response to "nine" fits in line with what I'm currently thinking of you: that you're mafia because of how rigid your reads are and how rigid your overall take and attitude towards the game is. When you keep going back and referring to the same static readslist, it's almost comical to me. Yes, I know you cited your sources, but that's really not that hard to do as mafia - really it's what I would expect from mafia.

I know as mafia one of my fatal weaknesses is that I have an easy time picking out specific posts and bringing up little details to show to the town how my fake thought process is going, but I tend to get really stuck in one mindset as in "my path to victory is to mislynch X -> nightkill Y -> mislynch Z", and that's what your reads list feels like. "My path to victory is to mislynch Titus today, PM tomorrow, day4 nominate 3 town, and improvise in LYLO". The reason this applies to your list specifically and not just any old list that ranks people is that, as menalque said, they are convenient consensus opinions. This makes all the little footnotes and citations feel LAMIST since they're unnessecary, you could have just hopped in like GL and said "I think Menalque/Joey/Awoo are town. I'm on board with scum!Titus"... etc. Still popular opinions but presented in a more casual less tryhard look at how town I am way.

Joey keeps cockblocking all the fun in the game by defending town and mafia so it's not even useful content <--- this is what disengages me and makes me shade him, seeing someone so confident yet so inconsistent, yet STILL confident despite being proven unreliable is ---____--- to my desire to play, also my desired push, PM is super low activity, and keeps rambling on about some BS like "I build trust with people by having them answer my questions. joey keeps dodging my questions therefore he is mafia." Literally how does a town aligned human person come up with this? Like... what if the mafia... ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION??? *mind explosion*

PM's whole dragged out chain of questioning (in addition to the previous drag where he got stuck in day 1 and I made fun of him for it) feels to me like a weak fake way of reading people, and also getting continuously stuck on the same topic, defending it and beating the dead horse. Remind you of someone? Yeah, titus. Who kept beating us all over the head with that nonsense about how a correspondence wagon was good for town.

But according to joey, we have to stop this push dead in it's tracks because PM said the word "Lenient", keep in mind this is the single guy who did the most work in the game to save the one confirmed mafia, trying over and over to get me to join the counterwagon on likely townie norwegianboy despite not being able to substantiate a towncase for titus.

TrueSoulEnergy townslipped in post 1411 and he is never mafia probably I think.
TrueSoulEnergy being confirmed town doesn't make his opinions all infallible, honestly I haven't read any of his posts since I already know his alignment
Suji is outed mafia, lynch him asap. Once he flips red, everyone's win condition in the game (town and mafia) becomes to be the person sitting next to TrueSoulEnergy in the final 2.

Me hammering PM was probably the moment we can point to as where we lost the game if we do end up losing this game, keeping PM alive or discarding him on a lynchpool day was the best move. I finally came around to thinking he was likely town (Based on the same logic joey had and later flipped on) and in a moment of wavering, I hammered him thinking I was putting him at L-1, and also making a conscious decision not to go back and count the votes


All that being said, I am town and getting lynched does not further my win condition. Menalque is also town but I haven't seen his role PM, but at the same time I'm not going to go scumcase him because scumcasing a town is not bueno, so basically the only reason you should keep me alive today is if you think I'm more town then menalque is. Personally I know I am, so that's why my vote will remain here for the whole day.

My reads are pretty spaghetti-o's right now sry, TSE town suji mafia and then my eyes kind of glazed over and then midterms hit and my eyes rolled back in my head - you can actually pinpoint whether I'm engaged or not based on if I'm reading guiltylion's posts or not. It also doesn't help that a lot of people's avatars are the same color, that really upsets me as well. Brown grey and white really doesn't help me read people.

also do you see yourself getting back into this game like you were when we were jamming on D2 about how it was weird that Titus wasn't picking up more votes?

On a game level I think it's suspicious that things were set up so that I was the choice for an easy "democratic nightkill" here as opposed to keeping me out of the lynchpool and letting me try 1v1 suji on day 5 or something.

Either I'm right about suji and I'm getting "nightkilled" for that (more likely) or there's mafia in the pool slam dunking me (not likely), can anyone think of any other option that might be plausible? Other then a misplay

Yes, every since we lynched mutant, PM and titus this game's color balance has gone completely out of whack. The replacements have done nothing to help, either.

I have no idea why there are 2 votes on you, but there are. My logic for you being infalliable town turned out to be hilariously flimsy, and I really don't want to lynch menalque.

Menalque brining it up makes me feel bad for not being able to jam like I want to, and honestly I don't know if I'm going to be able to jam as hard as I previously did in the near future. My schedules have been busy and I haven't been reading the game, mostly just sitting back and having "fun" which isn't even nessecarily fun.

My color post is 90% ironic but at the same time I feel like my level of engagement with people with avatars that have a primarily white or light colored background is quite low. This is more or less where I'm at too. Lynching suji and lion feels good. Titus going for the high risk towncred on awkwardly bussing an inactive slot then switching to town!norwegian with a crummy reason to just try to survive when that doesn't work. Suji is suji. Seriously, he just doesn't fight. He's such a diplomat. So good at calming me down and getting him off me.

Lynching everyone that has an avatar with a white background is the key to winning the game, except maybe norwegian but we will see about that.

Basically on the EE forums people are suckers for "logical posts" and "a towny aura of caution" and I kind of have a reputation of being a mafia mechanics expert over there, so basically the whole game I just kept giving vague advice like

"Mafia like to hedge"
"Mafia tend to do X"
"X is a town tendancy"

When in reality I was just saying whatever was convenient to push my agenda at the time.

And then I nightkilled all the lurkers and let everyone with strong opinions self destruct while I sat back and pretended like I was getting involved in the arguments without actually doing anything. It was great, you should have been there. Anyways, no one from that forum is ever going to townread me again, so what are you gonna do.

What did I do in that game?

My tone was awesome and super towny, so you know that I'm capable of good tone as mafia.
I manipulated the heck out of people by taking advantage of apathy and confusion and acting like I knew what I was talking about by stringing together logic that sounded like it made sense.
I avoided conflict and I let things contrary to my fake opinions happen when it was beneficial to me.

What is different this game?

My tone is still towny, which is probably what gives you big paranoia. Sorry, but some people were just born cool xD
However,
I'm not manipulating anyone. I've jammed and worked together with people, I've chatted, and if you read back on the earlier days, I was largely the one who was being influenced by others.
I've fallen into apathy/confusion myself as of late. Go back and re read that game and you will notice that I was literally never confused at any point. If I ever got stuck or my current push stagnated, I would suddenly re-emerge with a wallpost on why Daneeko was mafia or that Different was mafia or Kira was mafia or Onjit or Jawapa.
Instantly as soon as I replaced into the game I conflicted with mutant. Then titus. Then suji. Joey for a bit as well. Whereas that game all my involvement in conflict was posturing to make myself look good.

TSE --- Town but also a good poe lynch for a lynchpool day
Nowegian --- Town because of interactions with other people (titus), but the paranoia vote on me is cringe. Also his ISO is bad. I defended it day 1, but it's only gotten worse. As soon as we find the second mafia he's straight into the lynch pool for me.

Suji -- Bad tone. Good at avoiding conflict. Something something political readslist.
GuiltyLion -- He's just a guy in the game, man. Why can't I think of what his opinions are? Does that make him more likely to be mafia? POE puts him down here. Also high risk titus might have wanted to bus him initially, because that would explain the cringe awkward push she kept forcing.
pisskop -- Menalque said he's scum. And based on the POE, yeah! He voted on mutant, he voted on titus. He also voted on suji which is neat. Would he go for the double? If I did like I was going to do, Me + PM hammers suji. Did they anti-team tell? Would pisskop really be confident enough to ride it out to 3-way considering he gets cut in like 90% of POE's?

Actually can I get a response for the pisskop one? I think they're anti-team and there's one between GL / pisskop

PM + Awoo could have hammered Suji. Pisskop was on that wagon. Pisskop bussing his partner would be literal suicide since he literally always get's POE'd out of the game.
