some stupid reads I have (i like to think of mafia as two people and different possible combinations of people who I think have been working together either directly or indirectly)
Gyro and Datisi could be a mafia duo together but thats literally just because I see how they are interacting on this page only which is sort of a bollox read

Gardenia and Fish could be (this one is based on only one post #115 where it seems like fish is definitely trying to make their previous interactions seem less meaningful

one thing I've noticed from in person games is that the mafia members can have a lot of trouble communicating with each other in the open during the day, with the existence of a private topic maybe my reading strategy is less useful but then again now that the posts have a sort of "object permanence" that always was lacking in in person games (allowing people to LIE about things they have done in the past, a risky but powerful gambit.....) so maybe it's just as good but differently useful?

it was literally only 115 where he was sort of distancing from her and i was like aha my brain will try to find pairs when really I didn't consider how that's just sort of an inefficient way to think about who might be the scums. seeing people try to not be associated is something i'd sort of expect mafias to do to help setup for a later game situation where its lylo (lynch correctly or lose?)

@bugspray Not sure what you saw in my responses after people voted on me, I just explained my perspective to Datisi when he voted on me (for reference, post 226 and 238. Would also prefer if you did defend yourself and give explanations for your reads since even little things can be helpful.

You were defending yourself way too hard than I'd expect a town to. Getting lynched as mafia is apocalyptic, getting mislynched as a townie on day1 is no big deal tbh.

Mate, here's the thing. If you're Town, you understand that lynching Town = very bad no good. And you only know for sure that you yourself are Town. Therefore, if people are trying to lynch you, you know it's a Town lynch incoming. You have to fight it.

Tell me, what happens if every single Town in game goes "lol kill me my death doesn't matter"?

If that happens every game then the townie dies and it creates a disadvantage for their team. Guess I'll have to learn to properly defend because I won't get to do this again
But I don't think I feel confident that this town could win if I'm mislyched so I'll try to defend myself for now.

Gard feels kinda like a mafia trying to hide behind newbie mask of innocence and isn't posting too often so that nobody can catch her making mistakes.

Sort of siding me me and trying to get on my good side when I'm a scummier looking town is a smart move as scum because it would mean that you just NK someone who is super town and then use that rapport in future days for more ML's

I read on the wiki that often mafia won't night kill scummy town to make future lynches easier. I'm saying that it would be beneficial to get on the good side of townies who appear scummy so that they are easier to persuade in future days. I was trying to say that it's possible that JV was doing this

im checking all the links of the you clicked this before color and I'm not finding what I remember reading, it's really possible I'm just overwhelmed by all the text and misremembering hard. I think it may have been some mafia strategy stuff I was reading before I replaced in that mentioned mafia should usually leave people who are easier to lynch alive but going back and reading a lot of stuff it's said many times that what I'm doing is exactly what I shouldn't be doing (and also yall have told me a bit as well.) Going to try and stop just doing impulse posts without thinking things through. Quality over quantity
