I meet up with some old high school friends a few times a year. A couple of them are outdoorsy and somehow convinced the rest of us to go camping. It was my first (and last) time camping so I took a LOT of precautions, including a couple things of bear spray. I felt pretty fucking smart when a bear showed up and got chased off by my spray. I'm not the one that actually sprayed the bear, because I'm a wimp, but it was my spray that got used. So I'm a hero.

Yeah, most tricks are shockingly simple. I might have mixed up the orange trick with the lemon trick which is always the magician cutting it.
Lowkey, it's so annoying how every trick is just googlable now and really damaged the art.

Also, I might be putting way too much effort into this, but analyzing previous identities, linguistically I don't see a lot of cohesion between the the way the river crossing identity is written, and Equinox and Vi's previous identities. I think they'd give a bit more detail, or phrase it like "Once forded a river because the bridge was closed."
Pablito's identities are a bit more abrubpt.

How did your name (but not given name) end up on the credits of a videogame?

I backed a crowdfunding campaign for a visual novel release at the $50 tier to get the soundtrack, and it included a physical copy of the game and my name in the credits. While there was nothing untoward about this game in particular and at best a minuscule chance that someone would even read the long list of Kickstarter backers at the end of a 70-hour game, I still felt weird about having my full name listed. I've been trying for a decade to shed the reputation of enjoying anime despite using an ostensibly anime avatar here. I went for my really old Internet handle from my weaboo days; it seemed appropriate!

What are you getting people for Christmas this year?

I tend to not do Christmas gifts because I am not good at picking out gifts for people. That said, I knew work was planning a secret Santa event for the holidays, so, during Black Friday sales, I sprung for a cheap card game and decided that I would just ask Amazon to wrap it for me because I didn't want to do what I usually do, which is get a separate gift bag and tissue paper. I checked out, and I guess I just spaced out because the game came unwrapped. Now I have to make a separate trip to Target to get a damned gift bag and tissue paper this weekend.

I was kinda debating on putting that, but decided against it because 1) I’ve directly stated I am before and 2) I don’t know what the general forum opinion of him is since he’s been permabanned for a few years now.

I was kind of away from the forum when all the drama went down and don't know what happened, and don't really want to know.

We never really got along in mafia, but we were allies in a vote allocation variant of a survivor game, and he was a blast there.

I was thinking someone talking about creating variants would lead Flum to think "who likes to come up with challenges and mod games?"

For several years before ORGs came on scene, I personally ran tournaments twice a week and had staff under my guidance run tournaments in hearts, backgammon, spades, checkers and chess the other days of the week. I was the head boss of my own tournaments and was online each night to oversee it all.

I should have delved deeper.
I read everyone's GTKAS and previous identities! And a few other relevant threads!

Shogi is a Japanese form of chess. Quite interesting, and a very different feel than the western game (which I've long sucked at ). I played against Fluminator.
