Shark, textbooks are stupidly expensive. You are stupid rich enough to buy all my textbooks for me this term and not notice. Additionally, you were a fool and did not get a meal plan this term. Buy me my textbooks and I will dedicate all my guest swipes to you so you won't starve. What? No, you can't order pizza and chinese food every day for the entire term. You will surely perish.

I was not successful. I did mooch a decent amount of pizza that term tho.

do UK universities not have meal plans or something? imagine, not having your access to food tightly regulated by a system of swipes and points granted from your learning insitution.

My feet are so cold
I need a tiny blanket
Socks will do the trick

My undies have stripes
But no one sees them, alas
Crazy socks will do

Sliding on hard wood
Socks, conquerers of friction
I move with such grace

Sweet catch!
This was in highschool. I was barefoot because at the time I was a staunch barefoot runner, and also just generally barefoot most of the time. I'm not sure why my teachers didn't crack down on that more, bless them.

The half-marathon was impromtu. It was the end of a shorter cross-country practice and I still had a lot of energy. My highschool was a tiny little road that came off the main road in town and wrapped around to form a block, which was conveniently enough almost exactly 1 mile. So when we felt like running distance we would just run the block so it was easy to measure our distance. This was after school and there was... some event going on at school I was attending later in the evening, I think a movie showing or something? So I didn't need to drive home and I was just looking to kill time. So I ended up running more.

This was without question when I was in the best shape of my life, since I was in training for an actual full marathon (which I did wear shoes for). So when I decided to go running that day I pretty quickly hit my runner's high and just kept going. I ended up stopping after 13.1 not because I was completely worn out (I was pretty worn out) but because the event was coming up.
