No, but I think I have two town reads. You (BFD) and Skitter. Your entrance feels really Newb!Town. Idk if Scum playing off as Newb would really go through the effort of asking for Profile Pic, asking definitions, etc. Feels like Newb!Scum would stay quiet and ask their partner in the PT. And it seems like Skitter is trying really hard to move the discussion to a more serious one. Scum is probably enjoying the confusion/'apathy'.

Skitter - I think is attempting to solve this game similarly to how I have seen her attempt to solve games in the past. She is probably my weakest town read, but only because reading Skitter is generally pretty difficult.

BFD - I pretty much agree with GeorgeBailey's analysis about BFD. I do not think he would be trying to attract attention to himself like he did earlier in the game. He also appears to be scumhunting.

Naerys - I find the self vote to be town. Maybe I am a sucker for the drama of it all.

I'll take look at the GB quotes in a bit but I wanted to address this first since its not accurate.

At the time of that post I had skitter and naerys as my top townies followed by lovelybird. the = and > signs show the relative ranking of the order in which I'd lynch.

RC falls in the middle for me (the 4th slot, not the 3rd). not to stroke his ego anymore but I find RC hard to read. his positioning on my list isn't to say he's town, just that I would rather lynch from the other slots before him.

RC is listed as third from the right. The only slots more “right” than RC are Skitter and Maerys. I think we are interpreting place differently.

My nitpicking actually stemmed from Karnage’s readslist not matching the language he was using to describe people in his notes. I felt like Karnage was being harsh about RC in his comments but then put him seemingly very close to the top of his readslist. That was when I saw him say you were the most townie person, but then didn’t actually have you at the top.

Because I think the post shows Bugspray trying to grapple with things that have happened in the game. I initially thought Bugspray was scummy for this stream of conscious oversharing playstyle they have, but I think that’s just a playstyle habit, not an alignment habit.

For example, Bugspray reminds me of TrueSoulEnergy. Read Masquerade dance player “Lady 5” before the slot was forced replaced. In that game, TrueSoulEnergy overshared and had a stream of conscious playstyle. TrueSoulEnergy also had a lot of quasi conspiracy theories. From afar, Bugspray’s play in this game is very similar to TrueSoulEnergy in that game.

After reading Bugspray with that frame of reference, I think finally they are town.

I think that tonally Arkias is highly likely to be scum but I'm somewhat reluctant to lead on them because I think if they're town it'll go badly.

Anyways, my thoughts so far.

Naerys -- Has not made a post at all. Like, at all.

GeorgeBailey -- RVS. Null note.

Arkias -- Clearly scum. The scummiest of the bunch.

bugspray -- Town, probably. Also weird.

BigFatDonald -- I think I agree with skitter here that they are town. Just new, even if they're acting weird.

Sera Masumi-- I see them as town. A lot of it comes from the whole lack of agency moment, with nothing to go on at the moment.

PvtUrist (SE) -- Null. Also watch more anime.

skitter30 (SE) -- Probably town, to be honest.

RadiantCowbells (SE) -- I feel like Radiant isn't actually doing the whole progressing thing they're known for, but at the same time, it's fairly early.

The best way to finish the RVS, from the wiki, is to start trying to gather information. Out of all the people, the person I just want more from is Naerys, but I'm against policy votes on principle. So second best applies.

Honestly I was already not too happy about your slot Skitter but you not seeing this makes me feel even worse and if I hadn't just errantly scumread you in dead threads 3 times in a row for not seeing a read when I thought that it was obvious that you should I would probably be calling you scum right now for it.

Arkias feels incredibly muted. There's a lot I can't say about this read because of site rules. But I am like 85-90% confident that this is scum.

I do like in the context of this game think that we have a striking tendency to never catch the same scum so I'm not really passing judgement on it.

But I think that you should be able to understand where my read comes from and townreading them for calling themselves scum in the readslist seems really level 0.

I think that RC has approached this game more trying to manage other players rather than truly scumhunt. His reads at times seemed to follow general consensus rather than being a building block to that general consensus. You can see this with the way he waffles on Bugspray.
