If you'd rather not vote me, who else do you think needs pressure? Do you think I've had enough pressure that me being at L-1 is a distinctly bad thing, or is it just that you're worried about d1 ending so early?

I didn’t really feel a need to keep my RV around especially since scum or newb could quick hammer and boom we lose someone. I dont have any read on you yet so for now I want to keep you around until i do. The best way to do that is to not have you at L-1.

Like I said in an earlier post, I feel there is too high a risk of a quick lynch in newb games by inexperienced players. I myself got chewed out by Exp players last game for putting someone to L-1 on day one because I didn’t understand the timeline.i was led to believe that it was a scumtell?

Dialogue can be achieved with L-2 easy. You gotta atleast have a reason to push L-1, crabby crab snibbity snab doesn’t cut it for me.

Second I don't think it's all that out there for a scum to vote their buddy.

As for the point about L-2 having a similar impact, yeah can't really argue with that but I personally don't mind someone being at L-1.

From a scum point of view there is no such thing as RVS because they know who is town and who isn’t. So why would they make the first vote they have their scumbuddy. I think that’s a terrible strategy any way you slice it, even if there isn’t a chance that it won’t turn into a wagon. The point of scum is to get Is to put our foots in our mouths. Why was a vote on your partner day one?

I don't actually have much to say, because I feel like I've solved things in my head kind of, and I'm feeling like {Creature, Uncrowned, Thomth, TW} are town. I'm kind of thinking Arkias is scum as well, but Arkias and TW are the slots I'm least sure on. But I keep having doubts on this, though. Still, I think that can be dealt with later, and right now I want to lynch Loserdude the most out of my non-town pool. VOTE: Loserdude

TW, did you explain why you voted Uncrowned? I missed it if you did. I actually didn't really believe he was scum when I voted him, I was mostly doing so because I was curious if anyone would move from you to him, or vote him in general.

Creature, I think you have too many townreads and should re-evaluate. I'm really not seeing anything from Loserdude that make me think he's town, although I do agree with your assessment on Thomth. To me, he doesn't seem to actually care about trying to find scum, and feels like he's taking a stance to try and not get directly involved in positions where he can be questioned.

My opinion of Loserdude so far is that he really hasn't... dome much? Reading his posts in ISO just make it seem a lot like he's typed, but really hasn't contributed much. I don't have much of a read on him, NACL, since he's pretty forgettable and head down.

Yeah I was really only focused on Tomth first couple days. Just reread a bunch and my townreads are Creature, TW and Ldog. Null is Arkais, going to say scum-team is Nacl/Tomth. I could be convinced that Tomth is making newb mistakes, but the fact that he doesn't explain his actions isnt helping my scumread on him at all. If Tomth ends up town that improves Nacl, but id still like SOME sort of explanation for my vote other than the shoddy one he gave. Slight scum reads on Geraint. Faust... idk im going to keep my opinions to myself on him. Null for now.

Creature often plays by PoEing town until he has a list of X scum - and yeah often at the expense of making much sense. Don't think this lock towns him but it's very standard Creature

Yeah, I don't think Creature is scum, I just didn't really agree with his reads.


Regarding Thomth, I don't think he's scum, although I do agree that he's not being very useful. But I don't see why scum would bother doing such random, attention drawing moves as opposed to not doing them. I just don't really see where the scum benefit is in that, unless it's "oh, they'll think it's too dumb to be a scum move". It just feels like he's reckless rather than he's trying to get a lynch. And maybe it's just been my experience, but I don't think I've ever had a quickhammer in a newbie game from something like this.

When you vote for someone as town its to add pressure, because you think they are scummy, or both. (duh)". I thought this was scummy until I not only noticed other people doing it, but it was explained that if you DONT do this its kinda scummier. Why would I not include myself in my own town read? It also helps me_the_player keep track of how many overall town and scum im reading and how the numbers/relationships match up.

I'll accept that youre confident in your town reads and the only thing thats left is me, but you're wrong.

That plus the self deprication really made it look like he was going for LAMIST. Atm I’m doubting if that means he’s scum or not, could be his playstyle. Sad to see him go .

Because of my doubts of Tomth I’m leaning more towards voting Arkais or Nacl. Gonna keep my vote here until someone replaces Tomth. If you’d like explanations or quotes lmk but they’ll probably come a lil bit later in the day.

Moonchild: Claimed to go through other games on the site, 135. With this in mind, they must be treated as a more advanced player than a complete newbie, as they claimed it.

Jake: Locktown. 100%.

Sauce: "They" could also refer to a person. And it seems like in 46, that is exactly what they were referring to.

Jocus: Death Tunneling because I asked questions to (unknowingly) get us out of RVS is a pro-town move? No. It is not.

Yimmy: I think Yimmy was defending me as either a push against Jocus, pocketing, or defending me. Maybe a combo of them.

Dunnstral: I agree with this. Dunnstral RVS'd Moonchild then basically left. Their entire ISO is 3 posts long.

ETLies: Not much to say about this. This are a Semi-Exp player. I'll probably do an analysis of any scum games they have vs Town, and compare it with this one.

LDude: This does know I'll flip town, and when I do, ETLies will most likely flip town too. This is a case of TMI. This also had an opportunistic vote on me

Pyro: Overall, it took awhile and I wish there was more, but I do love the effort into this ISO list. I do agree with some parts, but I do disagree with others.

I am going to keep my vote on Jake for now because, as its been pointed out by several people, he has been screaming for people to add content, while putting out minimal content himself. The fact that he reads himself as locktown while seeing many of us doubt him and state our doubts, as well as what we need from him to quell those doubts seems arrogant.

@LoserdudeOG what significance does it have that I say that I'm lock town? In my eyes, I am the most confirmed person as town. Scum reading me because I know that I'm town is, at best, disingenuous and at worst, outright deceitful.

After this most of the people giving their reads out would include themselves in their town reads. Also in our current game TW does this much more charmingly:

geraintm - gerain is a bit of a wildcard; don't think he's exhibited a lot of things which are necessarily towny/difficult for scum to fake, but I feel like his approach to the game has been fairly earnest. he doesn't look like he's playing a manipulative gameplan, just kinda doing his thing.

LoserdudeOG - I actually like LDoG a fair bit - if anyone wants a case on this I'll boot up the pc

NaCl - I think his reads are kinda consensusy; it feels like he's kinda posting to be running with the pack but when he actually tries to explain original thoughts I don't really buy the thought process

I wanted at the time to switch my vote to Nacl or Arkais, but I didn't have the time to explain my reasoning, and wanted to wait to switch my vote until I could properly explain myself.

That wasn't as many questions as I had thought, but there you have it.

Right now my town group is Ldog, Alexcellent, TW, Uncrowned and Creature.
Null is Zoomie, I'm fairly certain the bad taste in my mouth is due to his poor grammar, and posts that don't contribute a whole lot, but I have the same vibe from him that I do from Faustiv, which is null.
Getting a slight scumread on gerain, but that is mostly due to inactivity.
Getting high scum vibes from Arkais and Nacl, could see them as a scum team due to Nacl defending Arkais, but I also feel scum would throw their buddy under the bus by now? maybe? idk...

That was more in a friendly/non-serious way, when they're making a list of their opinions on everyone. But when you're only talking about a subset of people, I've never seen anyone go refer to themselves like that.

Ah, allow me to clarify 2 points,

When I say it’s perfect, I don’t necessarily mean accurately perfect, I mean organized perfectly. I did notice that you pretty much leave everyone at least open to a future scum read should it suit you. With the exception of Alexcellent it looks like. Not saying this directly makes you scum, but if you are, this puts you in a good position to change your views/agree with others in the future.

Secondly, I didn’t phrase this correctly. It’s not that YOURE confident in yourself being town, it’s more that it seems like you have confidence in US BELIEVING you’re town. At least that’s the vibe I pick up from your posts.

It seems like the biggest conflict to your alignment was the early game scuffle with TW. Y’all came to a mutual understanding and agreed to bury the hatchet with the assumption that each other is town leaning. From this point on its appears you’ve been posting with the confidence of a conf!town and idk if you’ve earned that read from all of us.. certainly not me.

I have a bad tendency of over defending scum in that scenario. Gera flipping town, and then the Duck kill meant scum liked what I was doing, so I had to reevaluate.
