I'm going to need some opinion here on what's been happening so far. There's been at least a little readable content to go off of at this point.

Can you explain what sets it apart from my interactions with Eth0s FYPoV?

Of course I remembered that, and thought of it. To me, the major distinction was provocation. wth0s was actually scumreading you. What you did here was the equivalent to freaking out over RVS.

Tonally it felt a different - a little more frustrated rather than directed at X player with a purpose of lynching X player (eth0s). However, I am trying not to rely on that because I was reading you in that game as SCUM so I may have perceived tone differently.

P-edit: It’s not a big deal. I like playing with you in general. In the end I have a read on your slot which I didn’t before so, all’s well that ends well.

To me it just seemed a little premature, like no one was actively trying to lynch you or anything, so it read to me as flying off the handle.

I think based on Karnage, I’d lean scum on that slot. Being in RC’s targets in a vengeful seems like a bad situation for scum. But I don’t really know Karnage so that type of thing is hard to say without experience on a player.

He’s trying to go with town flow. If I’m townread, he’s feeling townie, and of momentum swings the other way, he’s not.

His play feels so different than the last game I played with him where I chose to NK him N1.

Lovebird slot is probably scum but I agree with bbmolla I don’t want that slot vigging if wrong. Maybe a replacement can give more to go off of.

I would always, always explain in detail if I grossly misunderstood someone. That has zero percent to do with my alignment. I can see why this might ping someone though so the push feels genuine. Did you realize I specifically joined this game because he asked me to in hopes we would be town together? I think one of them, but not both, is scum, and my pick between for scum is chk.

He may not have used those words exactly but I got that impression. We wanted to make his last scum games spectacular because he was considering quitting. So when he asked me to /in this game in hopes we would be town, I was a little worried it might be the last chance I had to do so. It’s NAI here is my point - I wanted to play with him so I wanted to keep him in the game. Although I think as scum I would have been more worried so I may not have tried as hard? Oh well.

My meta means very little as I’m just returning to mafia as a vastly different person than I used to be. I’m finding I’m not quite as aggressive as I used to be unless I’m sure of my reads. My day 1 has always been a little dicey - I tend to either be run up day 1 or NK N1, historically. One or the other. Haha.

Honestly, I’m inclined to lynch lovebird slot. I recently mislynched lovebird as scum and her play her feels markedly different. But the venge aspect of this game makes me pause on that for obvious reasons. But I do think it’s important to point out.

Why do you feel more sure about Uncrowned than Chk/myself?

Tonally, he seems off by a lot from our recently completed game. And his progression on my slot is garbage.

I’m more concerned chk will venge you if I’m wrong and I could be wrong about svT - it’s not svs but scum could be hiding in lurkers and it could be tvt and I would hate to have tunneled that in that way. Especially since I’m feeling more and more that my initial tr of RC was right and you’re town.

Of course he’s just now said he won’t venge you but that has been a concern of mine.
