OKAY HI

I AM AN ASCETIC ENABLER

WHILE I LIVE, THERE ARE MULTIPLE ASCETICS TO CONTEND WITH

I SHOULD PROBABLY DIE EARLY BECAUSE OF THIS

EVERYONE IN YOUR NEXT POST MUST CLAIM ASCETIC OR NON-ASCETIC

REFUSAL TO DO SO OR LATER LIES EXPOSED WILL BE TREATED AS A HARD SCUMCLAIM

Because Ascetic is a pro-scum role. Multiple unprovoked claims means there's several, which mean we will have PRs failing left and right. Town PRs need to know who not to target, and we need to be able to spot later fakeclaims

Also, because I need to die early, I will be TRYHARDING this game. I am caught up. I will remain caught up. I will take at least one scum with me and give Titus (may she reign forever) the tools to eviscerate the rest

This is my first opportunity to be non-scum in one of these games and I will DO IT UP

Also, before it matters, I am
not
solely an Enabler. I have a power role that is paired very nicely with that feature. I don't want to specify, but it gives me some power to detect lies on this account. I should probably be lynched day 3 or 4. Early enough so LYLO isn't a worry, late enough that I can use it a few times and give scum a chance to panic-waste their kill on me.

@M+K: Psychology. Ali, as much as I love eir, is headstrong and willful. E wants to win, badly, and while I respect that, it drives eir to recklessness. E wants to win, but e wants to win without "sharing" it with anyone who might take the spotlight. FL and I are regarded as among the top scum players on the site, and are especially known for our gifts with rallying scumteams. That's the role Ali is taking on here, and e wouldn't draft potential rivals. E's too much of an alpha for that.

PE: Espe, you do you. I don't know your role and can't be held responsible for fucking it up when you soft like that. You're +EV scum though, so fuck right off anyway
PE2: Ank, you're a Town goddess, but you're also an excellent scumzor. Stealing you from Town is a HUGE swing. You were high on MY recruit list, second only to Dann as (successful) deepwolf. Don't you dare underestimate yourself.

No

Absolutely not

I will take masonfishing as a soft scumclaim

Masons - don't make yourself obvious. We don't need you to be heroes. We need you to be late-game hidden weapons. I nearly lost AVP because of the huge number of confirmed Town in the lategame. If the Masons had successfully remained hidden, we'd have been screwed.

-My role suggests there are several ascetics in the game
-It's a negative utility that needs to be declared so Town PRs don't waste their shot on ascetics
-Claiming this aspect limits fakeclaim options
-There is very likely exactly one scum ascetic, so identifying that subgroup gives us a lead, just like neighborhoods

Nah, I just got a No Result on Espeonage. I was thinking he was a lying Ascetic, but I may have missed something.

@Titus, need an impartial view here. Did I choose a shit target, is Espe just stonewalling to bluff me back, or did I get unlucky with targeting someone who was Aliened?

Targeted Amrun N1 and Espe N2, both actions failed.

N3 targeted Ank because she’s suspicious AF and I suspect an unclaimed Ascetic lurks in the scum

Amrun was, frankly, a mistake. I was running late in my target submission and didn’t have my notes in front of me, but thought Amrun had claimed non-ascetic. I have difficulty reading her, so I decided to use my power two ways - the traditional manner and also to see if people were lying about being Ascetic. That’s why I had the brief false guilty on Amrun, because I thought I’d found the hidden Ascetic. Then I checked my notes

Espe hardclaimed non-Ascetic in the initial round of claims. Combined with his insistence that he’ll be useful and continued lack in that capacity, I’d be willing to vote him today

Your role is really, really weird.

Also, isn’t it explicitly not normal for town to have ninja modifier?

The rules state that all roles not named Ali or Titus conform to normal guidelines.
Oh, well, I missed that. Ninja is Normal for any alignment.

I'll vanilla cop FL, yeah.

Oh, that would actually explain it. AF and I were the only ones she couldn't get TRs on, ergo last two scum.

Nah, Ank, you've got a deepwolf girl

I think you're nervous that I can actually counter-WIFOM you and get an actionable interpretation.
