Survivor: Blitz (Mashies edition!)

Ever wanted to play Survivor, but didn't have much time? In honor of the Mashies, xofelf and Pine will be running a live game. Many of the features of traditional Survivor will be cut or diminished in order to condense the game, but the core features of tribes, alliances, blindsides, and social maneuvering will all be there!

Ruleset

INITIAL TRIBES
Players will be divided evenly between two tribes. These tribes will get PTs to communicate. Individual players may communicate with anyone on their current tribe at will, by any means. This is primarily enforced by the honor code - don't play if you're going to abuse the rules. Private communication may still not be directly quoted under any circumstances. You can tell us what was said, but text blocks, logs, screenshots etc are not allowed.

SWAPS AND MERGE
Tribe swaps may occur at any time before the merge at the mods' discretion. New PTs will be generated. The merge will occur when the mods deem it appropriate. There is no predicting these events.

CHALLENGES
The mods will select a number between 1 and 100. Each player will submit a guess. The closest guess without going over will win immunity for their tribe. After the merge, they will simply win immunity for themselves. Any player guessing the same number as any other player will be disqualified. Teams may coordinate, but the actual submissions are secret.

IMMUNITY IDOLS
After every tribal council, players may choose to search for a hidden immunity idol based on the table below. One is hidden at every "beach". Players may attempt only once per challenge. If the idol is already claimed, the attempt will always fail. Once an idol has been used, a new idol will spawn back at camp. At the merge, any unclaimed idols will be lost, but idols in hand will be retained. The merge camp will also have an idol. Search attempts will be resolved in the order they are received. If you are "discovered" searching for an idol, your tribe will be notified in its PT that you are looking for one, as well as how "hard" you are looking. Any discovered attempt will fail and prevent you from searching in the next round.

5% chance to find, 25% chance to be discovered
6% chance to find, 30% chance to be discovered
7% chance to find, 35% chance to be discovered
8% chance to find, 40% chance to be discovered
9% chance to find, 45% chance to be discovered
10% chance to find, 50% chance to be discovered

TRIBAL COUNCIL
After the challenge is decided, tribes will have ten minutes to discuss. Then everyone will secretly submit a vote. Any idols to be used should also be submitted at this time. The mods will announce the person voted off as soon as the results are tabulated. If a tie occurs, a second vote will happen, with only the tied players as options. If a tie is deadlocked, one non-tied player will be randomly eliminated.

ENDGAME
When four players are left, the winner of the final immunity trial will select one person to bring with them to the jury. The remaining two will flip a coin. The winner of the toss will move on to the final three. The final three will have one post each to make a case. Jury members may all submit one question to one contestant each, to be presented as a block. After contestants respond, a final vote will be held.
