Ok, thanks. In post 1526, NorwegianboyEE wrote:Game started with tons of votes on TSE. TSE then claims loud bodyguard, some people then argue his claim is scummy while other say his claim will self-resolve so there's no point lynching him. Then people start voting a bunch of people, the ones who got the most votes were Black Ranger and then eventually tictac took over. Black ranger was seen as scummy because of Drixx's case on him back in post 447. tictac is read as scummy mainly because of post 1205 and keeping up the push on Titus even though most people are unvoting the TSE/Titus wagon. (TSE was replaced).

In post 2241, The Fonz wrote:Eh, I actually think for the size of game it's been both slow paced and relatively focused. We had a strong TSE wagon with some people doubting it, a couple of smallish counterwagons on BR and Tictac. After TSE got replaced a lot of the policy lynch energy dissipated and Tictac becomes top wagon, then there's a Sausa wagon that looks like it's going the distance then (imho wrongly) loses a lot of votes with his claim, while not disappearing. Now BR, who's kind of been a candidate all day but never leading has his moment in the spotlight. There are relatively few vanity wagons or secondary tunnelfeuds going on.
Anyone who is having trouble getting going can just start by saying if they like the BR wagon or not.
I have seen TSE claiming mason as scum in one game, as well as I have seen similar postures in his other games as town. Considering the number of players here, I believe that town!TSE would be more inclined to try to impact the game with some type of gambit, to draw attention (because he likes it, even if he doesn't admit it). Scum!TSE would have withdraw more, showing a resolute stance but without any claim that would theoretically harm his team.
In any case, I am inclined to think that what was seen was the town!TSE, but this is my personal view.- clidd

Yes, I agree with you. Particularly, I feel myself playing in the dark with the absence of information. I just need to understand a few things before collaborating with the main lynch, considering that I don't intend to extend much this day and fatigue the players even more.In post 2284, Almost50 wrote:Seriously guys, please start consolidating. It is now obvious we're getting nothing from any extended discussion. People just keep hopping between wagons for no reason (at least none declared) and many are just either sheeping someone else or assigning their vote to the top wagon. The only thing left is for us to actually lynch someone and then see who voted them and why (if they ever state a reason, which is unlikely) based on the flip.
Extending the day now hurts us even more, because a crunch-time lynch is the perfect alibi for scum to be voting and deny responsibility. "It was either that or no lynch". Well, at least now we can ask them why they picked between the 3-5 lynch candidates, as in "Why did you vote X when you could have voted Y or Z?" when we have X, Y & Z flipped later into the game.- clidd

I believe his wagon climbed moderately fast, but without a strong reaction from him about it. Looking at the recent posts, I believe that his reads do not come from a scum mentality, but his posture of revealing material that could be exposed before is doubtful. In particular, I believe he could be better evaluated tomorrow, assuming he is not lynched today. In post 2454, NorwegianboyEE wrote:Clidd what is your opinion on the Black Ranger wagon? 2 wagons is not dispersion of votes. 4 is.
There is no reason why 50p gamemustbe tiring and high effort. Not every case must be a 3 page dissertation of some minute detail or a pattern of meta from multiple games.
There's a perfectly good counterwagon for Ranger and that's Jackal at the mo.
Aspersions of quoted "Heroism" are thrown yet there are nine slots not voting anything rn. Maybe that's a drag we are more familiar with, but it's no less deserving of ire.
In the end however, the defeatism is pointless. In time, the deadline will come, and with it will come deadline-pressure.Somethingwill be lynched this day. Would I like the day to end sooner? sure. do I think trying to get a non-ranger lynch is pointless? no.- clidd

Ok, I understood now. It seems that my theoretical motivation is not as plausible as I thought. I have some difficulties in fully understanding the logic of hoods, especially with more than 3 players. In post 3008, Black Ranger wrote:
1. The assumption is that Jackal hasn't been replaced because he's posting in a scum PTIn post 3002, clidd wrote:I would like you to reformulate this post, I didn't understand it.
2. Jackal is a member of Nero's neighbourhood. Public knowledge ~post 1200 or so.
3. KM/Nero have yet to verify whether Jackal has posted in the hood.
4. You could assume based on KM's vote that Jackal hasn't, but Nero has been bearish on the wagon, so anyone wanting Jackal based on this should want more information.
5. If I have to constantly bring up the necessity of this extra information or how the people making the original case did not care enough about the game to know that Jackal was in a hood the conclusion is that the wagon is being pushed for bad reasons.
Just one more question: are you sure about lynching tictac ? I have the impression that he will flip town.- clidd

On second thought, assuming that the peculiarity with Jackal's slot was an error of the mod, his scenario would be scum afk, so his team would request an immediate replacement. The odds indicate that he is a solo role, possibly VT, considering that no one has previously bothered to warn the mod. It also dissolves my theory of he being scum in a traditional way.In post 3013, Black Ranger wrote:his reads suck, was forced into claiming his chemist read isn't a meme one. he voted chemist for something that wasn't scummy. it was a reason to vote, not something insightful about the slot. the double down proves he was trying to be serious.

He posted nothing between these posts. Common thread: he was in the middle of getting wagoned in the first one. By the second post people were consolidating on me (from like, 3 to 20 votes in the past half dozen pages), but he was still seen as viable as seen by the NK15 vote earlier on the same page. Tictac later proceeded to blank vote nk15, chemist again, jackal and myself. Seems survivalistic in that he didn't want to put himself out there to vote me even though he obviously wanted to, but once everyone else piled on for bad reasons he felt safe to join the fun.In post 2118, tictac wrote:
Is this a real question? I'd be real surprised if all the scumz were among the active growd. In post 2117, davesaz wrote:So I wonder if there are scum in the naked vote sheeple?
How ya feel about lynching chemist?
dude has meta for getting paralyed as scum, and the little content that he does have is scummy.
I mean if we just wanna getsomethingto the noose, then sure, let's listen to a second-hand report from drizz, it's not like the most horrible of all options.
if we wanna lynch scum however, we should:
VOTE: Chemist1422
UNVOTE: Jackal711
I agree with your reasoning about his (Tictac) sporadic votes with a potentially biased intention, just as I see that your assimilation of this information is part of a genuine process, with a resolutive content. However, just as I noticed that you were town using impressions initially, I fear that Tictac's sequence of errors may be unintentional, but a different "style". Evidently, the strength of the read that I have on you, and partially on Hectic, is suggestively enough for me to collaborate with my vote, even though I do not fully share the same view.
That said:
