I'll echo Drixx point that scum may be able to see the hoods without choosing/permission to post there, so be careful even if you townread your neighbors.
Other than that I don't care much for the hood talk.

A read would be nice. Perhaps a comment on someone else's read. I'm not all that picky as long as it expresses some kind of opinion on the game.

i think farside is scum but its her first game back from hiatus and im not motivated to push it

Forgot to mention this is a pet peeve of mine. Making a comment that someone hasn't posted enough material is in no way throwing shade. Throwing shade isn't even a thing. Accusing someone of throwing shade pretty much never means anything other than boo-hoo that guy made a comment about me.

well, i dont think her posting has improved, all ive really done this game is try to get a read on her and all her responses felt awkward/forced

How about Elsa Jay? Thoughts on whether the "not trying so what" attitude might be an attempt to be too scummy to be scum?

my experience with elsa, is that he is someone who prefers scum, and cares less when he is town
my main experience of him being scum is CB, where he fought hard against being wagoned and seemed a lot more invested, so i am inclined to take his dislike of role as genuine, and general uncaring attitude, as a weak indication of town
its also similar to my own feelings abt this game rn and im town so.

Six scumreads is just BEGGING for scum to throw one or two buddies into the mix and then push four or five wagons. It's not rational or productive, and I refuse to indulge the question further.

PE: If you don't scumread someone but would be good lynching them, then you're a detriment to the game and should be a D1 policy lynch. This is not Russian Roulette, and we are not penguins shoving each other around on the ice floe until one of us falls in to confirm that there's a leopard seal down there.

Far side - instead of trying to work things out with me she is just returning the scumread, bc she expects to win out against me. Otherwise doesnt feel townie. I played with her a lot in the past.

Hectic - my strongest tr is vote there (a50) and abr who I also tr keeps asking me to vote there. Most of the wagon is my townread or townleans. At some point I need to compromise. I dont tr any of the slots on the alternate momo wagon.

I am also confused why you seem to put weight on the things I say, yet have me as a sr. It seems contradictory.
