spamming the thread adds a layer of noise that makes it harder to develop reads. trying to reduce this noise benefits town.

ok I've been trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but this may be a legit scum slip...
outing PR's makes for more accurate lynches. ok this is misguided but not entirely wrongIn post 264, gibus wrote:Why is it bad for town to out masons? It can help in elimination so early lynches can be more accurate.
so the first quote implies being more accurate is bad for scum but the second quote implies not being more accurate is bad for scum.In post 265, gibus wrote:If it doesn't make them more accurate, the mafia would waste night kills

The two people scum don't want lynched are scum. This is insightful and true.In post 301, brassherald wrote:There are two people who the scum do not want lynched. Otherwise, the only reason they want a slot to keep around is if they think they've got them pocketed.
You clearly do not have anyone pocketed.
I haven't pocketed anybody. this is also true.
WHERE DOES ME NOT HAVING POCKETED ANYBODY LEAD YOU TO DRAW THE CONCLUSION THAT I AM SCUM?
feathers your are fuck LOCK TOWN my manfeathers wrote:CopyKat, the town setup we're using has two mafia members. Brass is saying he thinks you're switching accusations so fast that it's like you don't care who gets lynched besides two people, aka you and the other scum.

"You seem to have no independent reads" <--- 229+238, granted its not a lot but its not noneIn post 318, brassherald wrote: You seem to have no independent reads. Every time we talk about things that aren't quite right you either don't understand or didn't know.
You literally jumped on a wagon and jumped off with no reasoning for either the first or the second.
You may be posting but you definitely are not saying anything.
"Every time we talk about things that aren't quite right you either don't understand or didn't know" <--- this is such a subjective statement. Not sure how I'm supposed to argue this. I guess trying to get clarification on things is scummy, who knew

why would scum!me pass on the opportunity to vote gibus for calling out masons? In post 372, lilith2013 wrote:I think copykat's switch from defending gibus ("scum wouldn't be trying to out masons in this thread") to attacking a "scumslip" feel contrived to me, like he is trying to get on the bandwagon as fast as possible and needs something to attack gibus for. but then why make the switch to voting gibus after? In post 416, lilith2013 wrote:Off the top of my head I can think of a bunch of reasons for scum!you defending gibus here:- towncred for defending gibus if the wagon ends in a lynch and he flips town- in a world with town!gibus, gibus probably feels more warmly towards you for defending him when everyone else seems to be angry with him (ie pocketing)- could be trying to set up your team so that one person is on and on person is off the wagon- you’re not trying to have gibus be the D1 lynch and instead are hoping to direct the lynch onto a more influential or experienced player and/or are saving a gibus mislynch for future days- you may not have realized that this was going to turn into a real wagon/underestimated the momentum to his slot- gibus is your partner and you’re defending him for what amounts to a faked “town”tell
I don't get it. I thought gibus was town. then I thought he scum slipped so I voted for him not realizing it put him at L-1, talked to him about the "slip" and cleared up what he meant, realized what I thought was a slip wasn't and unvoted him.
but everybody wants to lynch me for that lol and when I try to interact with the people voting for me and provide explanations they are all but ignored.- CopyKat

that's completely counter-intuitive but makes senseIn post 441, lilith2013 wrote:Just to add on - lynching mafia on D1 can actually hurt town because they have less to work with in terms of analyzing how the dead mafia interacted with other players and determining who is most suspicious based on that. lol this is a joke, right? I absolutely did give a reason and explained why I thought it was a scum slip in the exact post that I voted in.In post 515, votato wrote: the reason i voted you is not because you pressured gibus or unvoted. its because you didnt state reasoning for your vote which made it seem very opportunistic. and then i didnt like your ex post reasoning for the vote. you liking gibus' answer seems like you're just backtracking after getting called out. from the beginning it was clearly not a scumslip.
maybe you honestly just saw something that wasnt there, which is why im saying just go on playing and maybe youll do something to convince me you arent scum. your narrative around your voting patterns seems less likely to me than the alternative that i present. you havent addressed my thinking at all. your narrative is parallel and mutually exclusive, but you havent explained why i should reject my narrative and accept yours. - CopyKat
