If Kris is indeed town, I think the people who argued saving the shot until LYLO is better (Kirk and Karma iirc) have a higher chance of being scum because I have seen it be a reasonably effective tell that if someone claims the scum's actions were dumb or didn't make sense, scum are more likely to defend them. It's not ironclad, but it is a thing.

Kay and Kris are likely not aligned because the above post came before the following post. This thought is likely at least somewhat unhelpful, though, since Kay is likely town due to her poem submission.

They haven't really, I still think Kris needs to die, but I know when to stop pushing something when there clearly isn't any support for it.

Kirk - he's bold, he's out there, he's interacting, he's not afraid of anything. Sure it's dropped off but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Plus he posts in the middle of the night, come on imagine how much effort that would take to pull off as scum and how easy it would be to mess up.

Kim, Kitsune - Mostly solid posts from both of these, they're engaging, they're doing stuff. I like it.

Karma, Kay - I hated both of these for a while because they both didn't feel like putting their necks on the line for any reads which is hella scummy. But hey now they've started posting stuff, that's nice I guess. I wouldn't really shed any tears if they died.

I would assume that Kay was a persona and that they put effort into using proper grammar and such, whereas Karma is just talking like they normally would or not making a special effort not to correct mistakes that they make. Sure the grammar makes it less likely but there are aspects of all our accounts that make us unlikely to be with Kay

The only real reason for Karma being town is the grammar whereas Kirk has more reasons to be town including the timezone and then the significant effort to show why the timezone matters, as well as just the fact that Kirk and Kay were pushing each other instead of pushing me which would have been so much easier. Karma meanwhile has been mostly going with the flow and was trying to push the lynch toward me yesterday but then acted like they were also fine with Kay.

I was lying when I said I know who Kay is, my shaky guess on karma is the best I have.

Not sure that I would have been able to say this before playing in the game, but it seems like games like this should be balanced on the assumption that a couple of players are going to be confirmed as town. Though Lone Wolf wasn't like that, but Lone Wolf didn't have activity requirements and so the scum just completely lurked on one account.

With that in mind, the setup was crazy townsided, and the alt guess mechanism isn't likely to fix that because like I said on Kay it's extremely hard to alt guess someone correct. On Kay I made absolutely no effort to hide myself and in fact I did at least one thing that was extremely characteristic of me (not counting the poem which most people wouldn't have known), and even then I think only Kim figured out who I was?
