Help.

So the first question is, how much effort do I want to put into this.
I'll probably play one account straight and play the other one a lot more aggressive and gut-based. But there are a number of other weird things I can do with my posting habits.
The most extreme would be to play one account as if it were in a significantly different timezone. That's an awful idea, and it's really unfortunate, because if one head flips anyone who's in a different timezone becomes basically clear.
I guess riffing off of that, it might be something I'd do as town to propose a timezone massclaim along with the hours in your timezone you are normally asleep, and probably just say that you should not post when you should be asleep. We could even do a thing where we require each player to post once an hour for the first full day they're awake, effectively proving they really were awake the whole time. That's obviously not something everyone will be able to do, but I could probably use it to fake one timezone off of myself by staying up a little late.

In terms of activity during the day, I think that as long as I've established the hours during which each account is awake (and it's not really sustainable for me to fake a timezone significantly different from my own, so that shouldn't hugely affect this), I should probably not put a huge effort into having a noticeable routine. For instance, there are players who can only post on their lunch break during the workday, but if I stick to that it will probably look like a scum gimmick more than anything. One thing to note, though, is that on the evenings and weekends I do have to stagger my schedules, realizing that there will be times when I am not available and I need to compensate for that by adding times when each head individually is not available, lest our schedules look curiously correlated. The upshot of that is that my heads will each be available less often than I would be if I were town; that means activity is very alignment indicative. I must try to keep my activity up.

So I think my plan of attack will be:
Kay will just be me. I'll play exactly as I would as town, with no effort to hide my identity, because I wouldn't have made one as town. I will post on Kay most times I am free.
Komainu will be more proactive, aggressive, and irrational. I'll probably post less with it, but I'll accomplish more. I'll create some more holes in activity, and possibly also try to post on Komainu when I'm doing something and normally wouldn't be posting at all.
Hmm, I just had an idea. I could use exclusively Kay on my computer and exclusively Komainu on my phone. That would actually solve a lot of problems-- I could have a back-and-forth without worrying about timing as much, I'll have well-defined times when one or the other is not available, and my posting style will probably be at least a bit different. Komainu will make shorter posts, and they'll be more likely to have typos. And sometimes my computer double posts, but I don't think my phone ever does.

Finally, I should think about theater.
There is an exceptional capacity for theater in this game. This, I assume, will put people on their guard about it. Thus I probably shouldn't try to do something super conspicuous. However, I could have one of my heads fake an identity slip and then suicide with the other, though that would only work after the NK has been used, and I do plan on saving the NK until I can win with it.
Another idea is to just get the heads tunneling each other, or perhaps better-- Komainu tunnels Kay while Kay tries to convince Komainu that it's NAI. I have a lot of source material to draw from in doing this, because I've been scumread for my playstyle a LOT. I kinda like this plan, but I will see where the game goes before I decide for certain.

Katrielle's use of
makes me think possibly skitter.

Ooh maybe I should try to avoid making a bunch of posts in a row on one of the accounts.
Idk, that's a pretty common thing and it's reasonable to argue that scum might do that so it doesn't harm me much to not. It would have to be Komainu that I refrain from doing that on anyway, but Komainu is more likely to make short posts so I don't think that would work.

Unfortunately there is no way to verify that Porkens slipped accidentally rather than on purpose, and an on purpose slip could have served to make him look like Kris to bait a shot, so the right play here is to not shoot him and wait for him to get lynched because he wasn't shot.
I meant what I said on Komainu about modkills, by the way. I think modkilling is the only way to deal with an altslip.

@nsg: can you ask everyone to check in during the night, so that I can choose to end the night only when everyone has checked in?

I mostly just wanted an excuse to quote this but when I said the poem outed me to a dozen people this is what I was referring to:
Subject: Merchant's Daughter [Endgame]
Something_Smart wrote:I wrote this right at the end of pre-dance and just failed to post it in time twice.
At FakeGod's palace was a mighty ball
With dapper gentlemen and ladies fair
But genders found unequal numbers there
And it was clear there was not room for all.
As couples lined themselves up 'gainst the wall,
Poor Allomancer was without a pair.
He left, disgraced, enraged at the affair
That, once had seen him proud, now saw him fall.
But Allomancer won't be soon forgot!
His sacrifice will not be made in vain
His journey ended so ours could begin.
For him we'll unravel this awful knot
Triumphantly repeating this refrain:
"For Allomancer's sake, and for the win!"

Gonna drop this here before I forget about it:
Should help me narrow down if/when I care about that.

From context the most likely people posting that would be Firebringer, Alisae, and Pink Ball. But Kitsune also votes using bold which none of them do, and I don't know that any of them would adopt that affectation for the purposes of disguising themself. So it's possible that was just a post made by someone who happened to not come to the title thread in a while.
Though, if the bold votes are an affectation, it's possible they will forget, which will make them look bad.

Definitely not killing tonight, but unfortunately we still have to wait because ending the night at a specific time gives information.
This game format is cool but it does have a lot of annoying problems. The activity one was fixed, but slips are still an issue; I do agree with the PT idea if you do games like this again in the future.

In post 348, Kitsune Mask wrote:You shouldn't scumread Kay for this. She is from another website and I think she has overrated how much player overlap there is by a lot which is why she got weirdly flighty over something no one seems to recognize ( I did not recognize it either, I visit that site so little, but it must be recognizable there)
I am not positive I have her identified but feel like even if my guess is wrong, it is a player influenced by who I am thinking of. So being scared on this alien planet makes sense and is not yakuza scared of undercover cops.
I absolutely must know who you thought I was after the game

Okay I'm gonna work on figuring out Kitsune now. I think if I can nail that I probably win today.
Kitsune:
- posts in the title thread but is NOT popsofctown (I was actually pretty close to guessing pops until I realized that Kitsune's title thread post was a response to pops)
- Votes using bold (could be an affectation, though, but I'd have to pick someone willing to use that affectation)
- Timezone is really difficult to determine. They have posted within every 2-hour interval so they must not have a very consistent sleep schedule. I initially wanted to say PST, but it's really not all that clear. Could just be EST but sometimes stays up really late. The late posts don't come on weekends, also, so it's not a week vs weekend sleep schedule thing.
- They still say "lynch," but that could easily be an affectation. I'm doing it on Komainu.

Yeah I got nothing. My two ideas were Pink Ball and Alisae (and not just because of what I said earlier), Alisae I think is out due to not having posted on the site at all for like a week before the game started up until about three days after it started. Pink Ball is maybe but his activity doesn't really match up and the personality doesn't really match up either.
Damn I was so happy with the popsofctown guess lol. It really feels like her.
