I just want to be transparent with the thread and let everyone know because I think transparency with the thread is important right now:
Isis and superbowl are having a massive 1v1 in the hood. It's kind of weird but Isis thinks superbowl is town acting intentionally scummy, and superbowl is denying it and accusing Isis of conspiring. It's getting kind of heated and I'm uncomfortable standing in the crossfire. Any advice for how I should be handling this, to put a handle on it?Hectic- Tommy Two Times

Isis wants me to let her resolve it but I really think everyone needs to know this. I'll summarise what happened, Morning Tweet:
>superbowl entered the hood saying it was a lovely hood and he's really looking forward to this (grinning emoji face)
>I entered and greeted him normally
>Isis enters and asks him about why he's so excited
>He says no reason in particular, but the setup looks cool
>Isis asks him what's cool about the setup
>superbowl does a u-turn in attitude and threatens toself-vote on the spot(not kidding) because he thinks Isis is being weirdly antagonistic
>They have a back and forth here and I won't summarise every post, but basically Isis thinks he's intentionally acting scummy and doesn't get why, and superbowl is accusing her of scummy anti-OMGUS
The thing is he outright refuses to talk to me now and is insisting we're both scum. I just want us to be friends, and I don't think this is theatre. What should I do? I need advice on what to do, because I don't think our hood is in a theatre.Hectic- Tommy Two Times

It's getting worse
Isis jokingly called him lousyball and superbowl got really mad at that. He says he's fed up with the game and I can tell he's getting really emotional - I'm quite concerned. Do we have any counsellors or peacemakers in the playerlist that can step in please, pretty please?Hectic- Tommy Two Times

We're up to page 7 now... someone please stop these two, I'm not sure how much more I can handle.
But regardless, at least I've got some good reads from it. I'm pretty sure Isis is scum, and superbowl is town. So if I'm town here, I think we're okay. Otherwise, if I'm scum, it means there's a conspiracy and we should be self-voting. At the moment, I think I'm town though.

Sorry, I didn't realise I would be prodded despite the fact I've been active in the hood. Dealing with that is equivalent to 2 other micro games, and I haven't even had time to read the recent events in the thread. Will have time to catch up soon after I deal with with page 42/43. Isis and superbowl are assuming they're town for hypothetical purposes and are arguing possible teams in other hoods. We're making progress!
Progress is being made, we're looking at potential other teams!Hectic- Tommy Two Times

I self-voted earlier but got my games mixed up and did it in a mishmash game by mistake. I'm being more careful with this second lease of life.
VOTE: Hood 2
Everyone's sus here, but my main scumread is Puff. I don't like Puff's townslip. If you see something which contradicts your understanding of the setup, wouldn't the first thing you do be to recheck the rules? Puff made a show of making it clear she was misunderstanding and would check the rules straightaftermaking that post, instead of just checking them instead of making that post.
She says in 222 that she checked immediately after making 102, but then where's the followup? She makes #102 realising the rules may be different to what she thought. Rereads the rules and notices Tommy is either lying or mistaken, but then doesn't inform Tommy or the thread of this after checking. Which makes me think the purpose of #102 was not a helpful/transparent one, but an attempt at faking a townslip.
Can't remember if I already did this (I might have already done this):

Well, that's a minor disaster, disaster.
Drew, could you confirm the fact Morning and Auro were saying they were okay with you self-voting in your hood, and then pushing another hood after?
Honestly, I'd kinda convinced myself on the Puff hood being the conspiracy. This townslip from Puff wasn't like the one she had recently in partition, which had a lot more emotion and felt less scripted, scripted.Hectic- Tommy Two Times

It kinda sounds to me that if there's a conspiracy in your hood, it's you + one of them. Having one of you paranoia while the other scum "convinces" you not to self-vote sounds like smart theatre to get the other hood mate on board.
If you are town, I don't think you should be self-voting because their gambit seems really risky in that case. Unless they're going all out and trying to make you reconsider from their play alone but it's still real risky.
Let me think about this. Think about this let me.Hectic- Tommy Two Times

Hmmmm, I don't know. Auro + Morning would make sense in how they've been townreading each other the whole game, and the gambit where you tell each other "let's pretend to townread each other and see how the thread reacts" does come from scum more often and is more beneficial to them, I think. I would really love to read the hood and see how genuine the solving posts ares. .Hectic- Tommy Two Times

But on the other hand, as Drew describes it, the whole gambit of writing themselves off to be the first hood to self-vote is risky as scum, and just the way they strongly townread each other might be less likely to come from scum, since that's bound to incite paranoia. . . .
But on the otherfoot, that's exactly what scum needs to do so they don't have to fake paranoia and then explain why they're not self-voting later on.

I'm not sure. If it is the other hood, I don't know what combination it is, but there's scum equity in the way Auro/Morning have been treating each other, and equity in Drew's sudden turn from paranoiaing to asking superbowl to self-vote.
Isis and superbowl have put on a 6/10 performance if they're scum. I'm leaning towards the other hood atm at the moment.Hectic- Tommy Two Times

Yep, I will follow Hood 22. For the record, I think it's Auro + Drew now.In post 497, gobbledygook wrote:If Adorable, Galron, and I declare that a hood self vote, will that hood self vote?
Morning, Auro daring Drew to self-vote in-thread and in-hood is bad for him if he's scum and Drew's town, and it's also bad for him if he's town and thinks Drew is town. Even if you think Drew is likely to eventually self-vote anyway, daring him to instead of trying to convince his mind is anti-wincon. An explanation that makes sense is that they're both scum and there was never really any fear, and it's all theatre.
The lack of progression of softening paranoia in the hood is a bad sign, not a good sign. All of the previous paranoia and threats to self-vote mean nothing if Drew does a sudden 180 when it gets down to two hoods.Hectic- Tommy Two Times

Drew, I still don't get why you found that post of mine scummy and how it was the turning point of your paranoia. If I'm scum, my aim there is to convince you to self-vote and sell you on Auro/Morning scum. Not tell you NOT to self-vote if you're town, and instead voice my suspicion of you and potentially alienate you.
Explain why that 1 (one) post changed your mind.Hectic- Tommy Two Times

This is CWAC.In post 692, Isis wrote:Ok, my research is complete. That episode of Community features a split into six timelines. In the timeline in which that image of Troy holding the pizzas appears, we never get to see the pizzas. However, the timelines do not split until after the pizzas are already in the deliveryman's hands, so we know the toppings of the pizzas are the same in all six timelines.
In the timeline in which Pierce retrieves the pizzas, we get to view Abed taking a cheese slice, and Troy and Britta each taking a slice that is a bit difficult to make out but seems to be topped with mushrooms and sausage bits. Abed is Muslim, so it seems likely that the sausage bits are pork, which is why the pizza is half and half. Both of these slices only come from the topmost box.
In the timeline in which Abed (I think it was Abed), retrieves the pizzas, Abed sets the pizza boxes down and immediately and confidently thrusts the topmost box open and begins reaching immediately. We can only see the mushroom sausage half, but he reaches to the other half to retrieve a cheese slice that he brings to his mouth.
A pizza man rarely clarifies which pizzas are which, so the fact that Abed does not peek at the box first to ensure it has slices appropriate for him to eat suggests it's most likely that all three pizzas are identical. At a minimum, each pizza must have a cheese half or a half that comports with Abed's religious beliefs, due to this show of confidence.
That is the most I can deduce about the flavor of the pizzas.Hectic- Tommy Two Times
