RULES
General Rules:
- Site-wide rules always apply here.
- If you have a question for me, you can always PM me. If you need to talk to me in thread, please bold your question like thisso I can locate it better.
- You may not use hidden or encrypted text. I decide if the text is small enough to be count as hidden text.
- If you have a power to edit/delete your post, don't do it. If you scumslip, just accept it and eat rope.
- Play nice. Insulting players with using any form of racial/sexual slur or any kind of derogatory languages or excessive harassing in any way will result in immediate force-replacement.
- Do not EVER discuss the ongoing games in this thread nor discuss this game elsewhere, no matter how informative it is.
- Paraphrasing moderator communication is fine but do not directly quote anything or otherwise suggest how the communication was phrased. I have 0 tolerance in regards to this rule, I am very easy to contact if you are unsure if something is ok or not.
- Do not use provable randomization in this game. Saying that you rolled a dice is fine, using dice tag is not.
- Do not use the following color. #FF4000
- If I find the certain factors/actions damaging the state of the game, I will intervene and/or take action.
- Keep the personal complaint, whatever they may be, outside of the wrong VC/information, private by PMing me.
- If you break these rules, I have full rights to punish you at my will. This can range from simple warning to modkill/force-replace.
- I always have a full right to add/modify the rules. If I do, I will fully explain the reason behind such action.
Activity and Deadline:
- The day phase will last 4 days. This game has no night phase.
- If you're on V/LA, please tell me beforehand by either post it in thread (bolded) or PM to me.
- If you don't post here for 24 real hours, I will prod you. Failure to receive prod within 24 hours will result in your being replaced.
- If you do not submit an action before the day/night ends, it will count as No Action.
- If I have to extend the deadline, I will. If I do, I will post it on thread.
Voting and Lynching:
- You vote by either using bold tag Vote:beeboy or using vote tag [vote]beeboy[/vote].
- Please make your votes clear,
- A player is lynched when the majority votes is achieved, which is 50% of the current available votes rounded up.
- At the end of the day the person with the most votes is lynched. Ties will be determined by whoever placed the last vote first.

In post 17, bugspray wrote:@mod can you rewrite the playerlist as pairs? Makes it easier to understand also I don't want an Rvs hammer to accidentally happen
The setup does not assume you know who the lover pairs are. So I can't adjust the player list or vote counts around information that isn't publicly available.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

For the next game I am adjusting the deadlines to 7 days on day 1 and 5 days on day 2+. Deadlines here felt really short even if they never mattered. I am trying to find a balance that allows games to move quickly and I am still not sure what that is given that number is different for every player base.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

My first experience with this setup was a 12 player variant but it had a 3rd scum rather then a cult. Although I prefer micros when mechanics allow them to be possible.In post 902, Doctor Drew wrote:
I agree the first day should be longer then following days, in my experience in this setup(including here) after D1 the days go quickly.In post 897, beeboy wrote:In post 892, beeboy wrote:Thank you everyone for playing the game, I do plan on modding this setup again! Also, would love to see a variant of this setup with 10 players, the extra two players being a 3p cult.
But I am just a whore for shoving cults in every setup.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

I'd prein to this or eventually steal your idea because this sounds amazing.In post 905, Nancy Drew 39 wrote:I might run this game myself but allow the pairs to actually choose each other before randing the alignments because how much you enjoy this game often depends on whom you get as a partner.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

This would be FakeGods dance setup with a few more steps and the day 0 phase is my least favorite part of that setup.In post 907, HoldenGolden wrote:

Ends up being townie people being shoved together then tin foiling each other.
I always found the best pairs to be the ones made in the pregame.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

You need 1 game of modding experience in the open/normal queue to run a "themed"/micro game. Experience off site counts towards this number but you have to ask the list mod if your experience counts.In post 913, Nancy Drew 39 wrote:
Could I run this as my first virgin game as a mod? If so, I could run it now.In post 908, beeboy wrote:

I’ve played this game twice on MU.. Had an awesome partner first game and loved it. The second time I played, literally got 3 partners from hell and hated it.ah yes, beeboy style reads;
