for one thing, death wasnt a death sentence in that game. in that setup if people suspect you, you are better of dying. also, since that wagon was kinda serious, the L-1 gambit had a pretty different context.

Nothing strong so far, which doesn't feel great. I think I'm getting townie pings from Votato, Drew, Deimos and Midari. Those are the only things strong enough to mention.

This was your wagon at its peak (correct me if I'm wrong), so I'll pose this question to the group is scum on this wagon. I think that's likely. If so, who and how many? My gut says just one, between Marshu and Word. That or the wagon looked to carry it's self well enough, and scum wanted to avoid it.

I feel like simply voting yourself would be something that would be done more by scum than by town, as scum would have more reasons to self-vote I think.

Since this self-vote occurred in RVS, I'm annoyed that you're generalising it to any self-vote (this results in examples like scum self-hammers entering the picture and making the RVS self-vote look much worse than it actually is). This is besides the point at best and shading Midari at worst.

uhm, not at all what i said. obviously scum self-hammers mostly come from caught scum. i'm talking about votes that aren't self-hammers though, particularly early votes or even RVS votes. FoS deimos for choosing such a bad way to defend the self-vote.

Maybe I'm just biased. But the case on Tux just seems a bit reachy and nothing more then a lost person in this game which does strike as different from what I've seen from them.

basically, this is midari's best attempt at scumhunting so far. the iso is pure fluff. lots of calling people out for being inactive, but not really pressing people who are lurky or trying to coax them into being active. im still not sure about any of midaris thoughts about anyone.

I don't remember seeing this type of episode before on any of the platforms I played and, particularly, unless you have a Nokia 6091, I find it difficult that an accidental post skip has occurred specifically in the L-1 scenario that Marashu was in. I would suspect, however, of your intentions if the set of votes had not stagnated.

Having a larger cognitive load is a characteristic of scum that can become exceptionally apparent in less experienced players, whose posting habits end up suffering from brevity and scarcity.

Seems to me a characteristic associated more with the playstyle than necessarily with apathy because of pressure scenarios.

its not simply that lurky people are scum, but that scum have a hard time faking being genuine, and there is additional cognitive load associated with lying and sustaining a lie. this causes scum to be more likely not to get jokes, to not pick up on cues, etc.

I don't have substantial logical reason for why he is town, but this is one of the stronger gutreads I've had in my mafia career.

This is true, which is why aside from townblocing people for shorter amounts of time, it's good to be able to change your reads. Hence deimos should not ride this very strong townread the rest of the game without examination

and about the hider thing, a quick way to do it is the hider aiming for the player next to him on the player list; that way, everyone has a possibility of being hid upon, assuming uniform distribution (the odd of a hider being behind u given u r not the tracker is 1/12)
