tbh i chose the vote by looking at the activity overview and chose someone i expected more activity from. according to that its been 7 hours since last post, and he was near the bottom of the list. i wish i could get back to back scum games.

I'm not sure why you feel inclined to say sorry, but I'll expound on my initial statement there because it seems a little unclear still.
What I'm looking for in RVS is people voting strategically and making comments that appear to come from a gamesolving disposition.
Pi's and ceejay's votes lacked this.

Maybe I'm just biased. But the case on Tux just seems a bit reachy and nothing more then a lost person in this game which does strike as different from what I've seen from them.

What about them? I tend to forget about people not actively playing the game. I could say the same for Pii and Wors as well.

The way the conversation has drifted away from tuxedo mask is slightly concerning, though perhaps there is nothing more to be discussed about him.

You can bring it back but I believe they are a null read due to this being their first time out of the kiddie pool if I'm not mistaken. I don't like their pressure that was faux on Doctor Drew and finding out the alignment of one player so quickly does draw suspicious pings from me.

Midari, yes obviously if you are aware of your own self meta you can manipulate it, but there are patterns and certain idiosyncrasies that you will do that you are not even aware of. Your post comes off as being scared of someone looking up your meta. like there is something you have done here that you have also done in your scum game(s?).

I have and I have played here before. I haven't played much in a long time though recently coming back to mafia after life being busy.

I played a few games on "AoPS" and on a platform called "Zoom", where it is possible to have eye contact with the players. I had a brief trip to "E.M" and "ToS", where I got negative experiences, until I found MafiaScum. My affinity with the theme is average.

The fact that we can't look past a little slip of not seeing something and me moving because "heat" I find a bit disturbing as I'm not sure how many games you have been apart of where "oh that was a hammer" has happened in games you have been in. an idea:

if we can make it through Day 1 without outting the hider, would it be sensible for everyone to claim a name they would target if they were the hider? this way if the hider dies without their target dying, we will likely have 1 confirmed scum? probably most helpful if we try and get a reasonable diverse spread of names too.

There's no need to be rude. You're simply wrong here, and with the greatest respect, I have more recent experience of this setup than you do, and am well placed to advise on strategy. I can be wrong of course, or indeed I could be scum trying to manipulate the town (although it's quite apparent above that you know that's not a possibility) but to call me an I'm an idiot when I highlight your error is not a good look.

The false positive argument you made is predicated on the idea of a vigilante.

Town should never have a vigilante in this setup, because the player should always choose tracker.

As such, there should be no false positive issue. I had thought that was so obvious it didn't warrant mentioning, so apologies I wasn't clear enough at the outset.
