Read Through - Part 1
Vivid pic of Captain Hook entrapping Tinkerbell there, Deimos. Are you trying to tell us something?
It's NAI. NEXT!In post 27, Battle Mage wrote:this is a scummy intro. I see lots of words and excuses. It reads "Please don't vote for me for lurking"
Goodness, I empathize with this.In post 39, Mikul wrote:In post 35, Battle Mage wrote:

I hate rvs in general, much less random wagons when they solve nothing during rvs
It's the principal behind RVs. I hate dp1. That will never change. I understand why it can be useful, I also understand why it can be entirely counterproductive to town
Since joining this site I've made an active effort to find value in it but I still loathe it
And this.In post 55, Mikul wrote:I get scumread for everything. I behave naturally scummy sadly
Neither do I. Saw the need for multiple replacements, low number of pages, and cool mechanics, so I thought I'd jump in.In post 64, Mikul wrote:As another tidbit I know jackshit about this theme.
Damn, he already outted the slot. That's annoying. In post 69, HoldenGolden wrote:There will be no shitposting. My role is actually fucking amazing and slightly broken in my opinion. Not to sure, but I'm leaning the same direction. It looks as though that person gets a bulletproof if they win the audition, too, if I'm reading correctly? I wouldn't want to accidentally give scum that ability; let alone whatever they might have as their Audition. In post 72, Mikul wrote:I don't see the point in yolo healing. Unless I'm misreading it, healing activates an audition role which everyone has. That would be including mafia. Maybe the roles are useless, maybe they are useful but is there anyway to know that just throwing that on someone who is not town could have negative consequences?
Eh, that bad, huh?In post 76, Mikul wrote:Don't heal me by the way , ever
Is this for real? Why would you openly say that you're going to ignore players? I already feel like there's a town block with those 3 and it's only Page 4.In post 79, Tuxedo Mask wrote:I think I might just ignore that Mikul/BM/Demois stuff. Looked not fun or helpful.
Guess it's all laid out then.In post 80, HoldenGolden wrote:No I'm onsite fan.
Huh, what's with all the activation and such going on?
Bit early, to be fair, even though my predecessor already outted us.In post 118, Battle Mage wrote:i'm starting to wonder if we should massclaim...
On mastina's entrance, it's beyond weird. Mason claim, calling out town reads on folks who barely posted in the past few pages (like popopopopopo), but not really commenting on what was happening, then laying out a reads list when half the player list hasn't even posted? I'm hoping there's some good reasons for this Tux wagon, even though I'm already getting some gutscum on him.
Reading on through to Panzer's claim, which if town, isn't a bad thing to claim up front. My only worry is if that might come from scum and town target him then we all get effed.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

Interesting on mastina's Loved condition. Not sure if that fits with the mason claim or not yet.
I'm a wee bit concerned of how much Mikul and BM seem to be overtaking the thread, but given the lack of activity/multiple replacements, it's to be expected.
Really appreciate TSE's entrance and input thus far and I agree with this:
In post 159, TrueSoulEnergy wrote:Least 1 scum within Mastina and Tuxedo.
Curious to see what this amounts toIn post 167, Mikul wrote:Also my song is in the vote count , so that confirms my role went through. Excited much
Interesting. In post 175, Mikul wrote:You have a 1/3 chance to have your vote count twice. But it activates tomorrow and after the music video I selected is posted on the vote count. Putting it out there in case there is an accidental hammer but re reading this it doesn't start until tomorrow
So I don't know how faking a dayvig pushes anything forward, but I'm not quite sure how I feel about Tux's reaction right now. I'm not quite sure if he's faking not really understanding the mechanics of the game, especially when he said that he's been waiting "so long" for it to start. You'd have plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the mechanics. I'm not sure if he's being purposefully dense at this point or not. That's probably NAI, but worth noting.
And Panzer claimed his role as mastina's audition power? Huh.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

So I'm at mastina's #232 when they do a text wall of their reads and I don't understand how folks like popopopopo, Shiro, TTJT, Panther and Fox, and Sujimichi rate as anything other than null, at this point, when they've barely added anything to the game. Not to mention that the rest of it just feels very.....try hard? Also the self-meta in 268 and 276 is just not appealing. I'm not liking anything coming from that direction currently.
BM's quick move to mastina's side is suspect, as well.
This is good to know.In post 262, Shiro wrote:Mastina claims masons 2/3 of the games they play as both alignments.
Mikul needs to stop residing in my brain. In post 274, Mikul wrote:To note I really don't like the idea of clemency because her meta is that she only fake claims "Mason as town". It's way to easy to claim that as scum at that point.
This has been throwing me for a loop on my read through, too. I'm not understanding the why behind the claims already. Save for Panzer, he makes sense to me.In post 279, TheThirteenthJT wrote:There's been a few claims already with abilities and roles and it's just going over my head. I guess it would be bold to do that as scum but what's the benefit of doing it as town day 1?
Hey Sujimichi, can you condense your posts a bit? Also, why 20 questions and no real statement of your thoughts?
TTJT's entrance in 307 just seems to be a way to post some throwaway comments at mastina and Tux, but deliver a faulty case on Mikul. All of this without mentioning anyone else. I don't really care for it because I don't see the case on Mikul, also I think it's rich to be so late to the game and try to make a statement with your entrance.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

I just didn't see the point just yet. I don't think free information is a good way to play. It's not an open setup for a reason. In post 329, Deimos27 wrote:Did you prefer not to out this audition power?
I mean, if that's a crumb, it's pretty freaking obvious and I can think of, at least, one player who you should use it on if it's what I think it is.In post 330, Deimos27 wrote:

Apologies for my quiet over the weekend, I actually had a lot of fantastic non-screen things happening for the first time in awhile.
What specifically about him reads as not scummy? What people have gut reads? What are your thoughts on them?In post 366, Mikul wrote:As far as tuexedo , I just don't get scummy vibes from him. I also really don't like the wagon. There is a claimed tp that we can focus over him , I have no idea why so many people are so intent to get on him over gut reads.
I didn't think about that. I've played games on other sites where some roles needed to be "powered up" by being targeted, so a claim like that (in a game full of a ton of different powers) makes sense to me.In post 375, Mikul wrote:I think it would be a creative way to negate night actions from town instead of putting them elsewhere.
The quick escalation to this, though, is bothersome to me. I do think we owe, maybe, one night to let Panzer prove himself. In post 378, Mikul wrote:If we refuse to kick mastina then let's at least clock the claimed tp who is now basically useless and a net negative to town over gut reads.
These votes on Shiro aren't sitting well with me (at the point that they happened). However, now looking at Shiro's ISO, it's absolutely atrocious. If we want a prime example of fluff posting, this ISO is it. I'm not sure if that's a worthwhile D1 elim or not just yet.
For once, I'd like to get into a game where we talk about what people are doing in the game at hand and not spiral down the unending rabbit hole of meta. On top of that, I think mastina is a distraction with the mason claim and the need to control discussion/be center of attention, if town, is detrimental to game play. I'm trying to figure out how I feel about BM playing right into it, too. Not sure if this is distancing/bussing or TvT.
@Panzer Is this typical of mastina? I'm just getting a whole "look at me, look at me" vibe and while I want to consider it NAI, it feels anti-town where I'm reading around 436/439.
DK's entrance is leaving me wanting. A whole lotta nothing so far.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

I held shift on accident. The "!" point is on the same button as the 1. I caught up in the span of a few hours and it's only 20 pages. If you stopped complaining and fluffposting, you might actually give a different POV of the game state after your read through and help us nail some scum.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

Okay, sorry everybody, had a busy last couple of days IRL, but I'm here.
This is an interesting point that I didn't think about. In post 559, TheThirteenthJT wrote:I did mention your claim. I didn't quote it because (mobile) but I mentioned how I found it weird that you chose to claim when others were doing the same. It was like an attempt to fit in with the meta of this particular game when you are anti meta.
Well, this is good info to know. I appreciate you sharing. In post 560, TheThirteenthJT wrote:(and yes I am nervous as hell and intimidated because this is my first game outside newbies and I'm trying to prove myself.)
I'm rather concerned how you're so quick to dismiss and discredit him here. You think it's a waste, but I don't think it would be wasteful of an investigative role to check him out and see if he's telling the truth tonight. Day 1 is a crap shoot anyways, but your immediate dismissal of him doesn't sit well. I also don't think scum would be so forthcoming on the where-tos and how-fors.In post 563, Mikul wrote:The quick escalation to this, though, is bothersome to me. I do think we owe, maybe, one night to let Panzer prove himself.
how hes he prove himself?
have an investigation roll visit him to get a guilty, have a protective roll protect him to waste a protect when he wont be targeted. There will be no way to prove this claim even if he draws 3 actions
YAY TITUS!
I don't appreciate you curbing where I should ask my question. Panzer seems familiar with you, whether or not you two don't like each other, and it's important to have different POVs to consider. In post 575, mastina wrote:Panzer is literally the worst player in this playerlist to ask about my meta. A much better one would be our new replacement, Titus. She might not be the best, but she's still fairly reliable.

So as of this point, I actually didn't realize that I never unvoted when I entered the game, so that's totally my fault. That is a hold over HoldenGolden vote.
UNVOTE: Battle Mage
So what in the reads lists are similar? Can you show your work?In post 609, Battle Mage wrote:I don't buy your defence on the readslist for a second. You didn't just mimic almost all of her reads, but also used the same language which indicates quite clearly that you read her list and just re-worked it.
Just a few posts up you tell mastina how you think she's rude, but then say this? I just have a hard time from going crosseyed when someone can't just consolidate. I was just asking as a favor, but this is rather uncalled for.In post 613, Battle Mage wrote:ffs, I was going for 5 consecutive posts to piss Starbuck off. Now I have to start again.
+1In post 647, Titus wrote:Humility would go a long way but BM is being very self-righteous. That being said, I think BM is town who thinks he's got the game solved.
Yeah, the distraction isn't helpful. In post 657, TheThirteenthJT wrote:when I think of Mastinas slot all I see is the mason claim and it's blinding me from the rest of their play.

Okay folks, I wholeheartedly apologize. Things have been a little all over on my end in a good way, but I'm here and reading.
So back to it.....
I think it was beeboy who replaced into TTJT's slot, so if anyone needs me to answer 692, I can, but I'm letting it go for the moment.
I feel like I've given reads, opinions, and the like. Why no impression? Any opinion on TTJT calling me a strong player in 692? You seem to like his scrutiny towards me, but not much else?In post 703, catboi wrote:This is mostly residual from Holden, I've not really had much of an impression left by anything she has posted.
Reading further through this reads list, it has a feeling of plagiarism to me. Parroting? Both are pretty equal descriptors.
Not to mention that this comment just sets my scumdar alight:
In post 703, catboi wrote:I want to know in advance if people are going to jump back on me, rather than getting blitzed at the deadline.
YAS to beeboy's 728.
This isn't to be rude, but I just don't care about your meta or the endless posts that you've made about it. I don't like the whole "look at me" vibe that I'm getting in regards to you needing the attention from it. I think it's a distraction and of no help to the state of this game.In post 732, mastina wrote:Panzer has been proven to be lying about my meta, as is easily verified by multiple players here now who can vouch for what I said but not what Panzer said. (MariaR, Titus, and Shiro can all confirm that I've not fakeclaimed mason as scum, whereas Panzer insists that I do and have.)
I'm still not liking your consistent dismissal of Panzer either.
It's not hard to not respond or not rise to it. You can scroll past and continue playing THIS game or continue to drive the distracting conversation by needing to have the last word. You could also just stop claiming mason. If you keep doing this, it seems to be that the common denominator is that you need/want the attention of it. So you can't complain when you bring it on yourself.In post 732, mastina wrote:And who are the players who keep on making a big deal about the mason claim? It aint me, I can tell you that;
Is this the typical way that it goes, beeboy? In post 736, beeboy wrote:You know I've seen you claim mason literally every time you roll neighbor.
I also appreciate the insight from Panzer in 745.
Appreciating JacksonVirgo's catch up posts as his thoughts are aligning with much of my own. Still have good town vibes about that slot.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3- Starbuck

And 796 just made my eyes roll into the back of my head. Freaking seriously on this shit? Then the OMGUS on Panzer in 800 is just the topping on the cake.
Given your complete dismissal of anything that he says and keeping him in your scum reads, that vote feels personal and I'm not here for it.
Now, 807, though. I need more of that and less of the meta talk.
If you dislike her this much, why didn't you /in ? I've been standing up for you because I don't like her personal attacks towards you, but this selfishness can't be had either. You can't be like "well if she's still here, I'm not gonna be around." That's super unsportsmanlike and rude to the rest of the player list. I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, but you're only hurting the other 11 of us by doing this. Not to mention how super lame it is.In post 819, PJ. wrote:We are never going to be able to move on to constructive things while she is in this game. Every single post is a self-meta defense of her shit play or a death tunnel on whomever doesn't like her. It's counterproductive and anti-town and very least we should prove the Loved bit of her claim if she's going to be this fucking annoying. Is she town? probably? Has she ever played like it? no. I'm putting this game on the super backburner if she is gonna be around after Day 1.
THIS. Just stop engaging. In post 821, MariaR wrote:I think we're missing the point where if we keep engaging with the wall of noise you'll keep getting it when other factors are of more importance.

I have a whole ISO full of content that could fix that, but no "let's give Starbuck a pass thanks to HoldenGolden." That just sounds like you're too lazy to go read and form an opinion.
You aren't wrong on this, but there were also 5 billion replacements even after I replaced in. I just had plain not felt comfortable. In post 863, catboi wrote:You haven't even laid down a vote.
Sure, I think that today it should be one of mastina or Panzer because Panzer's role is apparently mastina's Audition power. Most people probably missed that due to all the replacements. I need both of them to stop taking everything to the personal level and leave it at the game level. In any case, that should be where our focus is, I can't remember exactly who it was as I read through but I know some folks are calling Panzer out as 3p. So why not lay down the vote?In post 863, catboi wrote:Do you mind summarizing your reads for me?
Also, is no one thinking its weird that mastina is speaking for a quiet player and doing his claim? Of the two, I'd like to see mastina gone.
Deimos also called me out when I mentioned his crumb in my opening post. One of his first posts was a gif of Captain Hook locking away Tinkerbell. I think I know what he was crumbing, so I don't necessarily think that he and mastina are linked and I think she's a lying liar who lies.
VOTE: mastina
I had a feeling like I've read it before. I should do a side-by-side of yours, mastina's, and Tipsy's read lists and see what's catching me up there. In post 863, catboi wrote:The accusations of "plagiarism" are so weird, this is the same thing Tipsy was fending off earlier.
