I read all his scum games and 2 of his town games, just skimmed though.
I didn’t see anything that made me think that he can’t be scum this game.

He has two scum modes. The unsure one he isn’t playing as but the more aggressive, confident one he could be. That’s fairly difficult to differentiate from his town games though. He’s more excited, happy, and sort of side chatty when he’s town.
He posts a lot as either alignment.
His ‘haha’ thing is just a thing he does. So, I won’t read into it.but one day in the future I will be able to differentiate between his town hahas and his scum hahas.

I already mentioned the summary of my observations half his scum games he acted lost and down.

Innocent Villager thought I and NS were town. For NS for out of game reasons. He said just before he died, that he was so confident in this because NS was scum reading him that we should still think he's town even after he gets miseliminated. Which was quite something.
NS thought IV was scum for, I think out of game reasons. Or it could have just been that he really wanted IV out of the game because he worried he's get miseliminated later when he changed his mind *shrug*

I had a wagon on Andre, but he had a kinda sorta townie post, so I switched to Nash, not even votes by deadline and NS got his wagon through. I hammered. He did not claim it was gross.

Nash lurked all game. The bulge kind of did too. Bellaphant was present, read walter as mafia just before the day ended and he died.

Notscience I have you as Town by default, and for some reason I am leaning positively on your discussions about how you coach new Scum players. It’s probably a neat tactic though if you’re doing that as Scum with your buddy in thread.

It is not difficult for to fake town energy. It's called enthusiasm and not everyone has enthusiasm for both roles but given Shelly says she's better as scum than town I would think her being enthusiastic would be a null or even a scummy tell for her.

A lot of players prefer playing as mafia or town, but not both equally. Often times you see a distinct difference in the frequency of posts depending on which alignment they are that correlates with whichever alignment they prefer.

I'm saying that you having townie energy is just another way of saying "This person seems enthusiastic, most people are right handed (prefer being town) so ShellyC must be right handed as well." But since you said you are a better scum player I would associate that with a preference to play as mafia. So your enthusiasm is a null or scum tell.

On the other hand, there are some like Bellaphant who would casually waste precious day wagon time by unvoting. By unvoting, you are wasting your precious 7 day since you aren't wagoning, and thus interrogating someone.

I'm leaning towards Clarity/Bellaphant or maybe Clarity/Bulge mafia, mainly because both Bulge and Bellaphant are both low-analysis players but Clarity is just outright no-analysis.

I am less engaged than I should be: our and IV are just the types of posters I find hard to engage with.

A little too underengaged honestly. I too find IV/Nash especially hard to make judgements on, but I still at least try to.

It's a lot harder to fake advance game as scum than it is to do so as town. Mainly because you have more information.

Town can literally say whatever the hell they want and it will feel genuine.

Honestly, if you look at Bulge and look at his posts, you get the impression that he isn't really making an attempt to sus out maf. As of now, he has posted one-liners and jokes, and had not went all-out on the investigations.

I would have expected notscience's level of activity from you, honestly.

-Knowing that activity/engagement is a general towntell and thing you lack is one thing. ACTUALLY fixing it and ACTUALLY generating content quickly, coherently, and genuinely engaging based on that self-reflection knowledge is hard; harder for some than others. Like I know this is one thing that my scumgame lacks a lot (I also just suck at scum), but it doesn't mean that scum!me can just deliver the same confidence and "say whatever's on my mind" verbiage as town!me.
-So this is why I was curious of this and I don't think it's a bad question. If NS is sick enough to be aware of this meta AND bridge it effectively then that tells me a lot, and it also tells me a lot if he's like me and can't. Obviously Clarity hasn't flipped yet but let's just say she flipped scum; I think Nash's "theory" about scum!Clarity knowing about this activity/engagement towntell but actually finding it very difficult to genuinely interact shows parallels to what we're talking about.

By making a list of things you'd find scummy and then applying it to the playerlist. This way you can fake a perspective of scum hunting.

This is one way to fake a town perspective when you don't have one.

I almost always coach my scum reads when they're at L-1 hoping against hope they try hard to show they're town.

Sometimes it works and I love when that happens.

Actually the most common replace out is mafia. Followed by PR, followed by VT.

But because VT are the most common role, it statistically looks like VT replace out the most (Because, obviously, they do just because they're the most common role). It's just if you put one VT, mafia, and a PR side by side alone the statistics turn up what I said they did.

Somewhat seriously, I do actually think Joy is scum for the reasons I posted. Wanted to see what would fall out if I pressured him too ofc and kind of felt like I was jumping the gun by looking at four posts and declaring him scum, but it looks like scum to me.

The Andre Joy interaction is weird for PR hunting reasons, I feel there's better stuff to talk about or look into than that so I don't know why Andre is going there instead.
