Each Newbie Game will be given a setup that incorporates one mafia role from the top of a column, and then two town roles from a row below the selected mafia role.
The remaining six roles will be filled in by and appropriately, to create a and setup.

All Newbie games use the Natural Action Resolution system for determining Night action effects. action takes precedence over a action should that apply.

Mafia are able to communicate in their Private Topic at all times.

@The other newbies - I saw none of you have games on here, how much offsite experience do you guys have? I've personally played for a year or two IRL and on a couple of other sites, but I'm not used to games longer than a couple of hours.

Not sure if there's anything to read into the SEs both voting other SEs... I'm going to go with probably not. Maybe it's a friendly poke between people that already know each other? Maybe they want to avoid pressuring the new players? Maybe I'm overthinking this? Spoilers: It's almost definitely the last one.

(someone shush me if I get too rambly - I usually play the equivalent of what I think this site calls Marathon games, so my posts are probably going to be more stream-of-consciousness waffles... Hopefully I won't burn out too quickly. If I'm going against some unwritten rules here I can *try* to organise myself into longer and more infrequent posts but I'm not making any promises.)

Apparently when you try to search for another keyword, it includes the previous keyword(s). So I searched for Andresvmb, got no results, typed your name in, and then it searched for posts with both of your names in, which of course only led here.

I have another game going on this site but for obvious reasons I will not talk about it. It’s my only game here. I come from a small community of online mafia called Mafia451. I have been playing for a few years. I don’t think of myself as inexperienced but you know, there’s always something to learn. I figured I would try to broaden my horizons a bit.

Is it usually this inactive early in newbie games? I guess we're just waiting for more people to show up so we can start Playing the Game.
