Yet something was still missing as Ircher entered the scene. "How can you have irrationals before rationals!" Ircher exclaimed. And so it was on the very next instant, the rationals entered being as something truly fantastic.

Why stick to algebraic irrationals when there are so many more. Indeed, an operator is loosely defined; any function suffices. Thus came into being, this very weird constant, a number so strange and yet so fundamental.
arcsin(
1
) = pi / 2

While Ircher couldn't rip numbers apart, he could certainly join them together. Concatenation is an operation just as much as addition.

Wait, we can do 400 size now? I thought the max was 200...
With the natural numbers far from finished, Ircher sets out to count towards the sky.

Binary and unary operators are for mere mortals. The greatest numbers shall come forth from mighty operators of several arguments.

Another very special number enters the universe. An odd yet prime number, many considered it a sign of good luck.

Ircher decided that the universe could use a number. He applied the secret power of base conversion to form the next number.
17
(in decimal) converted to octal = 21

Fun Fact: You can construct any square root of a rational length using just a compass and a straightedge. Speaking of square roots...
sqrt(
15
) = sqrt(15)

No, it would only require one compass and one straightedge. You would just have to do the process twice.
sqrt(
(Because why not?)
sqrt(
sqrt(sqrt(15))
= sqrt(sqrt(sqrt(15)))
(Because why not?)

For computer scientists, log always indicates the base-2 log. That allows us to say things like binary search is O(log(N)). So yeah, log depends on context and who you are talking to.
