I highly doubt anything of the sort. FakeGod has his own ancient tome of moderating lore. You are to first one to personally address me, despite my being fashionably late to the gathering. any reason you called me friend? I see no particular reason to trust anybody, and am inclined to distrust everybody.
Alisae seemss like quite the exuberant one. I don't know for certain, but I would expect that is a mask he likes to wear when acting out the part of the detective. I'd thus suspect it means less for base motives and more for his current mentality. In post 123, midwaybear wrote:Pooky did a roleplay act in micro 935 as Tracer Bullet. He was scum. btw I feel I should make this clear, I'm probably just gonna keep this method of writing for while I'm catching up. Tbh it's not as bad as I thought, though it seems activity is heavily weighted towards certain times. Might just be the fact FG games appeal to certain players. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I don’t get called mechanical (though I think the proper term for good clarity is “robotic”) often, but I think it’s happened once or twice. For this game though, I think some key factors are a) I came into this game already a little on tilt, so I’m probably going to sound off starting out no matter what, but I’m addition b) I’m posting in a way that makes me think out my posts more. I actually did this in a previous FG game (the first anon dance) but the problem I had there was I was doing that while posting on a secret alt, thus making posting in the game take jumping through a few hoops, which in turn made it near impossible to keep up. Here I don’t have as much burden on me, plus the posting adjustment is for now exclusive to catch up posts and anything I feel is derived from them enough to call for it. So while I’m not fully into this game I’m not out of it either. In post 453, Syryana wrote:I mean you can answer now if you like.
That ended up veering off-track. Basic response, don’t normally sound mechanical, but this specific game’s circumstances are probably why. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I didn’t see a response to my question specifically asking what the post you thought was scummy was, but this makes it clear enough. The thing is, I had at least one thing I personally felt was a loose end I might want to tie up. In addition I wanted to see if anyone had questions for me based on the partial catchup I had already posted, so I could quickly address them before getting into more catching up, as I tend to get distracted from catching up by current events, especially when people are responding to my catchup, so I wanted to try to set aside time to handle those things separately. In post 456, petapan wrote:
since i'm unlikely to get more from gamma now: you think so? i hadn't liked his catchup posts at all and the post before raised a flag for me with him asking if there's anything he should respond to, but i tend to take that type of emotive response to an early accusation to be town-indicativeIn post 435, SirCakez wrote:

I just hated that we had 15 pages in what, 4 hours? I was put on high alert for a potentially long and arduous game, and as I mentioned earlier I swore I’d play this game through, since FG was concerned about how flaky I’d been in the past. I wanted to curtail that by the means I had available at the time.In post 564, Bell wrote:Just opening up a line. How're you feeling? You said you didn't like the pace of this game, is there anything I could do to help you in that regard?
@FF, that must have taken a lot of will power. But I was worried you would say that you actually had managed that.
I think I want to be in the moment with you and the other players and see what happens.

i maintain 33 is a bad look. that kind of perspective-discerning logic always reads super ingenuine to me, and while it can come from town, i think scum are likely to throw it out because it's one of those "technically correct" points. that said, obviously there's a lot more content from that slot with which to read now, so my read may well change
didnt really get anything from peta's vote on me or the subsequent reactions, at least at first glance.
Gamma I'm mainly going off these two posts. Seem very half-hearted (Nahdia admitted to this) and kind of reminds me of catch-ups I used to post as scumIn post 507, Nahdia wrote:

this is also a bad look. feels very much like a post i would make as scum, though if people disagree that it's a generally scummy post i might just be projecting a bit too much. feedback welcome. In post 188, Tammy wrote:In post 186, midwaybear wrote:I don't get the point and I don't see the problem yet. glad to see peta's "obvious townread" was the one i also felt was obvious (midwaybear)! unless he got bear town after he made that earlier post about having one townread which was obvious.
kinda liked 216. alisae is slightly leaning town at this point.
and now im at page 10!

So I don't remember what my thing I was doing for the RP catchup was (probably due to only really ever doing that RP while in a specific location a lot of the time) so I'll just not do it. I'm sure someone's happy.

Okay how do I stop this for real, I keep having bread go bad and I always notice there's a lot of moisture on the inside of the bag, so that's definitely the water in the formulaIn post 471, fferyllt wrote:

Does that outweigh the convenience of grocery-store yeast?
Any old sack of flour contains yeast. And lactobacillus floats around in your kitchen. Water, flour, a warmish place in the kitchen, some benign neglect, and stand back, you're a microbe rancher.
Also, the bread is far superior in taste to bread made with commercial yeast. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

Yeah I’m Orlando area so the humidity is a killer. I’ll keep the half-size loaf suggestion in mind for certain. Unfortunately we like to repurpose our grocery bags and paper doesn’t work as well for that.In post 1095, fferyllt wrote:
Do you live in a super humid area? When I visit family in Florida I buy 1/2 to 1/3 size ciabattas, baguettes, etc. They're easier to get through before they succumb to the humidity. Could also freeze half the loaf, but that's suboptimal imo. I'd rather buy sizes that can be consumed quickly enough while fresh. You could also try storing in a paper bag instead of plastic. In post 1029, Gamma Emerald wrote: I'm more concerned abut keeping my store-bought bread from going bad.
