Pooky did a roleplay act in micro 935 as Tracer Bullet. He was scum. I'm not saying that it translates to this game, but sometimes I think people townread people who do what pooky is doing. Hopefully he just stops doing it asap

I don't know for certain, but I would expect that is a mask he likes to wear when acting out the part of the detective. I'd thus suspect it means less for base motives and more for his current mentality.

I don’t get called mechanical (though I think the proper term for good clarity is “robotic”) often, but I think it’s happened once or twice. For this game though, I think some key factors are a) I came into this game already a little on tilt, so I’m probably going to sound off starting out no matter what, but I’m addition b) I’m posting in a way that makes me think out my posts more. I actually did this in a previous FG game (the first anon dance) but the problem I had there was I was doing that while posting on a secret alt, thus making posting in the game take jumping through a few hoops, which in turn made it near impossible to keep up. Here I don’t have as much burden on me, plus the posting adjustment is for now exclusive to catch up posts and anything I feel is derived from them enough to call for it. So while I’m not fully into this game I’m not out of it either.

That ended up veering off-track. Basic response, don’t normally sound mechanical, but this specific game’s circumstances are probably why.

I didn’t see a response to my question specifically asking what the post you thought was scummy was, but this makes it clear enough. The thing is, I had at least one thing I personally felt was a loose end I might want to tie up. In addition I wanted to see if anyone had questions for me based on the partial catchup I had already posted, so I could quickly address them before getting into more catching up, as I tend to get distracted from catching up by current events, especially when people are responding to my catchup, so I wanted to try to set aside time to handle those things separately.

I just hated that we had 15 pages in what, 4 hours? I was put on high alert for a potentially long and arduous game, and as I mentioned earlier I swore I’d play this game through, since FG was concerned about how flaky I’d been in the past. A lot of his posts give me the vibe he is trying to rely on his in-jokes and nostalgia and humor to get by rather then get down and involved scumhunting.

I liked his question to me, but his reason for townreading me really had no basis. We've played one game together and I think it was probably in 2016. He was scum and I was town (and in a hydra).

I've played with Gamma twice as well. Everyone else you should be aware of. This actually looks a little like his town game. I eliminated him last time and I incorrectly thought he was lost scum. He had an omgusy playstyle and and he's responding as I would expect to Petapan hitting him with his bike.

Other time he just popped in was inspired unique townie and replaced out (I forgot how accurate he was in the multiball game)

Do you live in a super humid area? When I visit family in Florida I buy 1/2 to 1/3 size ciabattas, baguettes, etc. They're easier to get through before they succumb to the humidity. Could also freeze half the loaf, but that's suboptimal imo. I'd rather buy sizes that can be consumed quickly enough while fresh. You could also try storing in a paper bag instead of plastic.

Yeah I’m Orlando area so the humidity is a killer. I’ll keep the half-size loaf suggestion in mind for certain. Unfortunately we like to repurpose our grocery bags and paper doesn’t work as well for that.

I'll throw you a bit of a bone here: out of all the potential CO combinations the only pairing for which the above statements could be valid is Colin and Sasha. The others have irreconcilable loss of synergy for one reason or another. And I think you'll find that Colin and Sasha aren't as compatible as their sibling bond would imply.

I had a few posts quoted in different tabs from earlier catchups going days back but I just went through and closed each of them one-by-one. I guess I don't have much to say at the moment.

i've been finding it hard to lately to stay focused on analysis. Like I can stay caught up and get reading done but it's like my brain is watching it all unfold without ever catching on that it's supposed to be guessing how it all ends, and any idea I think I get about the game is fleeting

First off, that point had faded from my memory. Second, even if I was still weighing it into my read there’s the fact Taylor’s interactions with mwb have felt partnery, plus mwb has been fishing a fair amount to the point I find it a little concerning, specifically now that the setup is more visible. So far the only scum that’s been in a hood was a traitor. Barring any more hoods popping up that aren’t also masonries, scum were never in any hoods to begin with, making this sort of inquiry become way shadier. I literally just thought about a double traitor theory this morning when I was trying to figure out what the fork he’s doing here. (Although there was some talk in the neighborhood about possible setups Nd multiple deaths, but we decided against those.

Yesterday I wondered if the scum team knew of the existence of a traitor and thought that it possible everyone was searching for something.
