Mate, if scum assigned town slots their PRs then it would be easy for then to both run them over by day and shoot them by night. No? So it follows they pick what types of power to give town, but not whom to give it to. It also helps them make good fake claims, since they know what PRs are NOT included. (And now that I said that I foresee the mod stepping in and stating the exact opposite just so I would look dumb)

If interested, and you have the time, try having a look at this game. D1 Elements used a trust tell, and who made the most fuss about it? kuribo did. And what did he flip? He was Mafia. I do trust kuribo would be upset about it as either alignment, so I am not questioning his claim on that. What I am saying though is I've only seen it done by scum, and I have never witnessed it being done by town.

back in 2016 (I think) I was modding a game on another site and I made a mistake in the flavour that suggested a slot that has just been replaced might be the Cop, and not even the outed Cop got pissed, but who did? Exactly! The MAFIA RB (albeit having expressed their anger in their PT).

So, I do think people are more likely to get overly upset when mistakes (or what they deem as such) are made against them. Have you ever seen a footballer getting upset the referee awarded them a penalty they didn't deserve??

So my conclusion is to let them be for the time being.

Let me reiterate for those of you who like to see me say the same thing repeatedly:

1- Titus/mastina/Nero are NON-TOWN

Town is town by any other name. If I am alive then not "all townies" are dead. As I told Math, this works similar to a 2016 game called Gitsou where we had FOUR different TOWN factions, and they all won together or lost together. It was much more complicated than this one with an additional 3P faction that also won with Town (unless Town picked wrong and then they'd have been enemies AFTER all Scum were eliminated). The five factions wer up against 2 scum factions AND a Cultist. It was CRAZY (and one of the most enjoyable games EVER)

Let me put it as simple as this: We are NOT "Army". Society are NOT "Army". Both groups confirm each other to be "a different faction than them and the Town" AND both confirm the other faction is "Pro-Town". Do you think we are two scum factions that decided to a) Out, and b) falsely confirm their "rivals"?

There's also this little bit when Gamma apologized to me for fooling me and confessed to be "Scum". He was NOT "Goliath" and was NOT "Society". So you believe there are THREE anti-town factions in the game? If not, then

at least

one of Goliath/Society is NOT anti-town, and if they confirm the other to also be Pro-Town then they must be too.

Conclusion: Try to accept the fact that this isn't your conventional setup, and that we do have 2 3P factions that are explicitly Pro-Town, and that the reason why that is was for them to actually suspect each other and for Town to suspect them both as well, but things took a different route when Society decided to neighborize me, so we got to confirm each other rather than fight against each other.

P.S. I'll even add this bit, as it doesn't give away any "secrets" to Scum: It was mastina who correctly read me and decided to make that move. ALSO, that explains why Nero first was hunting for us and now is siding by us. Nero thought if they were Pro-Town 3P then we must be Scum who are either fake claiming or true claiming their alignment but not their wincon. That is typically how Nero thinks. He is the type of player that is most paranoid of anything that doesn't look like a typical treat of usual games/setups. Once it was pointed out to him how this game works he changed his mind because now he sees how the setup was initially supposed to work.

This means that she knows she got a Cop shot from someone who IS NOT ALIGNED WITH HER, thus she KNOWS you are DISLOYAL.
