it's a really bad idea to lynch mafia ever, as this is more of a numbers game than anything else (if we make it to day 2 with all mafia alive & a successful nightkill, we basically win)

it was a bad call to fake not knowing the vote count and you should roleclaim something that makes sense with what has been claimed & what you know of mafia roles; stay away from variants/boon bank roles as those have limits unless someone else has an idea of what to claim (saying your role is useful kind of boxes you in though - it's boon bank but maybe disabler?)

I think we have to be ruthless and kill the most influential players systematically, but there's always the chance that they will attract protective powers. My vote is on titus, and I think you should give inversion to bell before me. What are you guys' thoughts?

pros for keeping alive: I think there's room for suspicion with how much they dragged out vaxkiller and then ended up not voting for them at all, and if they poked hub or hbb there could be a clash of egos (especially gamma but I doubt that'd happen). It's also possible their VCA will be completely inaccurate and benefit us. They could also get doctor protection tonight.

cons for keeping alive: On the other hand, their VCA could be too accurate like the first one they did in the last game I played with them. Being persuasive is a double edged sword, because if they pick us to focus on it's an uphill battle the entire day. There's also the fact that they claimed some sort of power role, which could be false, but might be a mistake to not get rid of.

I think if we rush a massclaim, instead of waiting for it to inevitably come, there will be enough doubt that, if we stay off each other, it'll be impossible for any of us to reach majority

here's my argument for nightkilling shoshin:

if we kill a commuter, ydrasse (or even bell if you wanna swap to add credibellity) has more justification for openly claiming commuter enabler since commuters can just be nightkilled anyway

if commuters can be nightkilled, having a bunch of town commuters isn't impossible

if commuters can be nightkilled, every commuter except me is quasi-vanilla and expendable

we also should probably be picking off a commuter while I'm still alive and it's not risky

while shelly is basically confirmed town in everyone's mind, they're also pretty inactive

gypyx is suspicious, especially since he voted gamma to e-1 for no reason

then we come to shoshin, who was the most active poster on day 2 and managed to lynch who they wanted (even if we lent a helping hand lol)

shoshin also claimed to receive a message that someone was town, so killing them would prevent day 3 corroboration, or even the person's name from being said at all possibly

if we did this, I think it'd make sense for me to say I targeted thegoldenparadox, because shoshin brought up his inactivity (perhaps insincerely though), making it less likely he was the named player, and because no one is really keen on thegoldenparadox in general & it makes sense for me to cop him, thinking someone is going to target me tonight for sure

I really do think someone will target me so there should be a shot at framing him?

if there was a tracker I could just say guess that confirms redirect

if someone thinks it makes me look bad that shoshin was the target, could say it was a weak attempt at framing or just bring up the message that shoshin talked about

the cons that I can think of are that commuter isn't a role that currently challenges us, and it's possible shoshin isn't one at all (flip side is he could be something better I guess)

it also makes no sense for a mafia bus driver to target bell unless bell is the bus driver or a teammate (or the inverse, hbb, but why bring up fruit so close to a lynch as mafia?), and if my ability worked it should block tgp, right?

the solution would then be to claim fruit vendor, but that itself is a problem because why lie about being vanilla on day 3 while calling for massclaims?

and for the 'out' of framing tgp, assuming the above are all true claims, the only people who could have targeted me are hbb and aristophales

so essentially we have to weigh the pros and cons of 2 decisions:

1. wait it out and hope they're dumb and don't see how it can't be anyone other than bell/hope someone says they targeted me/hope someone makes themselves even more suspicious
2. claim fruit vendor and somehow convince them it makes sense for you to lie to the point of being lynched almost, and not counterclaiming another fruit vendor

- it's suspicious if he lives, as it makes no sense on the surface for us not to kill the only role unknown to mafia (we've shown we can nightkill commuters, and bef being non-consecutive means I couldn't out mafia with my role tonight (or the next night if "they" just kill bef))
- he has said he thinks we both are town
- we could use his ability in conjunction with mine to frame someone
