I don't know you don't like, but that was one to definitely be proud of. - Death Curse, for those wondering. Nora made an incredible move and it carried her through to lylo where it sadly came undone. I have massive amounts of respect for Nora as a result of that game.

Death curse was my second game on site and I was INCREDIBLY overwhelmed for the vast majority of that. There was a lot of obviously well respected players in there and a lot of formidable personalities. Add to that my fibromyalgia playing up, a change a medication causing vast amounts of brain fog. I was WELL out of my league. As the medication settled and numbers started to dwindle I started emerging more but never achieving full chaos, add the emotional instability and the shot taken at me I was in a right nasty mood for my swansong. Given this game is a lot smaller, my medication is stable and my energies are a little more stable, I can unleash the true chaos that is my personality and methodology.

But I'm not taking that road, I'm letting you vibe with your theory

This decision is made as a group in the council PT - the actions have no such restriction upon them and it doesn't make sense to have the council tracking one of its own, does it?

I needed to go out of my way to try to work together to Noraa and try to get her to listen to me because it helps me sort her.
- I feel like if she was scum, she would continue to push me and stay consistent with her stance that nothing I say will change her mind.
- I feel like if she is town, she would be more open to trying to understand why I acted the way I did.

Hence why I made that move.

It also allows me to judge her progression on my slot easily and determine if that comes from town or if it comes from scum.

I find her unhealing me to be interesting I could see her do that as both alignments.
I feel like if Noraa was scum, she would probably lose her patients with me and would honestly vote me.

I feel like I can confidently say she's town and I don't feel like I needed to even get this far if I was scum because it would have just been easier to marginalize her and kill her.

Different people go hunting in different ways.
Some people use a bow and arrow, some a spear, some their bare hands. Then some people just buy from the market.

This is a weird ass defence. As someone claiming to obvtown and knowing one of the heads is obvtowning it gives you some licence to go a lil nuts. Find a buddy, or create interactions. Yes it's stupid for scum to go at Noraa like you have, which in theory makes it an optimal play based on the situation due to the wifom it stirs up, you can use it to defend, as you have when you get called out, likewise you can use it for an offensive based on her reactions, and if the slot flips green you'll probably have dropped enough wifom and forced enough out of her to shrug it off without problem.

Not everything is WIFOM, the majority of actions can be sorted with sufficient amounts of information. Scums optimal play is to drop information can be used regardless of the situation, that ultimately sorts them in their favour.

- I want a neighborhood with sane people so I can talk about the game as well as have those people keep me in check if I am ever unreasonable because I can get that way and I can deathtunnel people into the ground like how I did with noraa if no one tries to stop me and tell me that I could be wrong.
- I want to be able to offer my opinion on how to use the abilities
- I feel safer being on the council due to the fact that if scum try to shoot me, their kill might fail.

First point ABSOLUTELY does! Are you serious?

Yes, I am absolutely serious. The council are not confirmed town and if we're unlucky can still be influenced by scum. Purple Hearts entire drive to get on the council absolutely honks of manipulation and AtE. Having a "sane neighbourhood" for this reason allows yourself to be more open to scum manipulation due to bias. Likewise, its an easy way for scum to push manipulations out, create wifom/confirmation bias and "confirmed" townies.

This wasn't even part of my considerations due to slot not head play. If we do consider that, then there is an ALIGNMENT CONFIRMED PERSON they can talk to in private to discuss things. This person is obviously trusted OUTSIDE OF THE GAME to be able to keep them in check.

But I'm not considering this in my reads.

Just as you believe you have a sufficient amount of information to interpret my slot as scum, another player may have a sufficient amount of information to interpret my slot as town.

I also feel like if Flea was able to say my slot was lockscum and had everything figured out, they would be able to justify how Taly's posts are scummy but they don't seem interested in doing that.

The thing is my push on the slot was based on OMGUS, WIFOM and overreactions and something that seemed off to me which was mechanics based. I don't need to prove anything and the information is there for all to see. If I am wrong, I want an outside source to tell me I'm wrong. The mechanical base of my push was sound, and WIFOM has been used to deflect this.

There was flailing as evidenced by the sheer amount of AtE, OMGUS and overreaction to my push. It's all there for people to see. ^_^

Taly's posts seem legit, however, I'm considering the slot, not the heads. Even if I do consider the heads, Taly is asking a lot of questions, stirring discussion and generating reads. Scum can do this too. The sheer volume of posts and content from one head is enough to override the efforts of the other imo.

On a non-game level, I appreciate your sentiment Flea and I reciprocate it. But what I would like for people to do is evaluate my posts instead of labeling this slot as lockscum due to 1/2 of the heads. I get the impression that people are dismissing my input in favor of asserting an easier read on Alisae but we're both the same alignment. It feels easier and noncommittal to criticize only half of the mindset of this slot even though one head has a higher volume of posts that have garnered valid criticism. I support Alisae's self-assessment because I have been familiar with their progression and mentality on this site for years, and while their approach may be soundly assessed as manipulative or agenda-based, I haven't concluded their approach themselves as a concrete alignment. But the previous statement merely clouds other people's judgment on the slot, so I want people to take an active approach to this head rather than speak around this head for a stronger solve and idea on my POV.

You both form one slot, both heads are liable for the slots content. You are both the same alignment as you're essentially the same player in my consideration. What would your input be on the interactions between me and Ali if you were a separate slot?

As town I’m blue as scum I’m red.

Do any amount of meta and you find my town and scum approaches are just different.

I only get away with what I get away with because towns either just kill themselves and I don’t need to play or people just don’t know my meta and thats to be expect. People shouldn’t know my meta as well as I know my own meta.

Best tips I can give you
1) Remember you’re town not mafia
2) Start Strong
3) Drive the Agenda, Control the narrative. Its important that you set this instead of just bending over to town. If you’re kinda just reacting to what town does then the game can kinda get out of your control.
4) I personally don’t bus if its not strategic because otherwise you’re just giving up ground for no reason and you put the pressure on someone else to carry when you should be working together to make up for your strengths and weaknesses.

5) Counter tunnel your accuser and NK them
