Well, I want to start making some headway on an actual wagon. I want to do it on a slot that Pook wants us to focus on. And I don't want just have a naked vote on Ircher. The reason is legit, even if it's the only reason I have.

This'll actually be a problem if we allow it. It's going to be too easy to wash hands of responsibility or commitments if we defer to Pooky for everything. He should have a some say in lynched, but don't empower the slot too much because we'll get ambivalence from town to scum hunt, and we'll have scum just pushing Pook's agenda and looking good.

I think it's highly unlikely that Pookstar and his Mason buddies have setup knowledge. I think it's totally possible as well for scum to claim town like roles that are believable.

So, currently, I don't have any faith in the soft claim. A hard claim is better anyways.

@Those on the Ircher/Trouble/BM wagons:

What's the best reason you want to elim the person you are voting for?

I'm good with either Ircher or BM currently. Trouble isn't really all that scummy to me. Ircher's fluff and IioA within the walls of quotes don't really strike me as productive town posting and are more of a post quota filling thing. I don't like that BM's current position that Pooky is responsible for town and our progression. While you/Pooky are worth regarding, you and your masonry are not infallible, and it's important that we disregard your advice from time to time, and also equally important that we don't hinge the entire game on your say so. It allows scum to weasel out of taking positions because they can attribute actions they take based on possible bad decisions by Pooky-management. Anyone who is willing to give you/Pooky all the leash you want and build cases or make plays based on your PoE will find ways to absolve themselves of wrong doing as well.

Outside of the current PoE, I'm not fully feeling the town Noraa vibes yet, and her posting has been far more distracting and super fluffy in general. Dr. Easy Bake isn't giving me any real town vibes and is a bit too jokey with scum jokes for me to take seriously as a town slot. Creature is being rather useless in general, which is his M.O. as scum more than town, but I'm not sold on the idea that FL would actually draft Creature, so he's a black horse pick.

That being said, in regards to Pooky managing us, I am not disillusioned to the fact that almost every game day is still going to come down to Pooky telling us what he wants and the vast majority of us are still going to work within his requests. I just don't like the idea in general since it will prevent certain naturally occurring associations from developing.

Me briefly skimmed and methinks Double looks terrible. The way they approach this BM wagon and squash my terribly weak TL on BM is just not ok.

I see the case on BM and I'm willing to cave except that I think softing pr on day 1 is risky play cuz u might attract trackers/watchers/cops/whatever. Methinks its not optimal play for scum!BM here especially cuz if he didn't, his wagon wouldn't have exploded like that(imo)

Nothing, and if you recall, I stopped reading there too.

I have about an hour of free time during lunch, and then various spots of time in the evenings if I'm not spending time with my wife and kids. 30 pages of posts to sift through that include shit posts and walls of quotes becomes very difficult to maintain that I eventually just go with the flow of the game and worry about reading later when it slows down and I have specific things I want to look for.

I find reading ISOs to be a more productive use of time when I know what it is I am looking for. I don't engage conversations and I certainly don't care about anyone else's conversations, especially once they devolve into shit posts.

You can't disappear after high activity day 1 leading to a mislynch. She's remained active but allowed her reads to ebb and flow with the current game state. One mislynch on Day 1 that she headlines, and her town reads are becoming scum reads because she can read the room and see what people want.

Look at your comment and look at what she is doing, and it actually matches up. She is actively lurking and letting the Bell/DEB thing happen, just like you think scum!mastina would.

Is the PBE wagon looking viable and not vanity yet? Pretty much only on Creature because he counters Bell. The fact that he's almost always a good lynch is bonus. I'd put my vote back on PBE if it's not vanity and can legit happen though.

The conundrum here is that Bell wim while DEB only countered and took off.

From my PoV, there are two clashing ideas.

1. Both are Detective. If it's a weak role, then it might be possible to have two in a power-lite town. With a roaming doc and two Cats that I know of, that is power-lite so far. But again it depends on the power of the Detective scan. Can it find a killer days afterwards, or just that night only? I'd like both Bell and DEB to clarify this.

2. Scum know town's PRs, which I think would be heinous. People seem to think that Leaf helped design town's power somehow, but no one seems to elaborate on where they know this from, and all I've seen is scum pick roles they want and mods balance town around that. In this case, scum want the Detective out, so Bell is either scum and was hoping to get DEB to claim, or DEB was planning to take claim Detective to eventually out the other Detective. Bell would be more likely scum than DEB in this scenario.

My reads haven't changed to much after yesterday. Noraa and mastina are my top two scum reads.

Ircher, ydrasse, and Dunn are all varying degrees of null.
I liked Spiffeh day 1, it didn't really drop on day 2. Murder and Double Trouble were town reads through Day 1 and 2, and I'm glad they are Mason's. I've added Solstice to my heavy town lean.

DEBs read is currently the most fenced.

I'll reclaim VT ahead of the people complaining that I get to go last just so we get it out of the way and they can't complain anymore.

I will hammer any target where a Super-saint concern might be. I'm confused how we have an enabler for Super-saint and no actual Super-saint though. Like, BM was a VT not a SS, so how did the kill happen?

What I mean is, wouldn't BM need to have been a SuperSaint in order for his venge kill to resolve? All we have is the Enabler claimed, which from I know of Enablers, they power the actual power role. If the Enabler does, the player who the Enabler was enabling power role loses its function.

If we're doing team speculation:
FL knows that I am straight-laced and will never fakeclaim and will always realclaim and won't go along with his gambits. That doesn't mean he wouldn't recruit me (tho I can tell you he didn't), but it does mean that if he did, he'd have to deliberately incorporate my lack of cooperation into the scumteam, in finding a plan that relies on my truthful claim setting up a lying scum to create a solution where town can't find the solve.

I imagine that I am not the only player this applies to.
So if he recruited a player like me who can't spin an elaborate web of lies, he would by necessity need to recruit only one of said players and mostly recruit players that're more likely to be able to spin his signature web of lies.

I'm pretty sure that FL would absolutely love to get his hands on Noraa as an agent of his. Of the slots in the game, the only one who'd be more FL-friendly is DEB but everyone knows about the FL-DEB relationship and FL knows everyone knows about the FL-DEB relationship and that's a literal WIFOM situation that we could add layers to for days on if FL picked DEB or not, so I'm going not with the most obvious candidate (DEB) but the second most likely candidate.

I'm trying to solve for 3 with bias on PBE being one of them, but since Day 2, Mastina has always been my pick for deep wolf. Ydrasse is my gut pick based off of Noraa interactions, for whom I'm biased as being scum, but as mentioned a few posts back, I could interchange mastina as the deep wolf pick.

Coincidentally, mastina would have been my first draft choice as either stump. I have a lot of experience with her, even back when mastina was mastin and even played during her "transition" period. There isn't a doubt in my mind FL would consider her as a draft pick.

I like mastina, and respect her game play.

Creature I've probably had the second most time with against everyone else on the list, and he's still doing exactly what I expect him to do, even as basically an IC.

The fact that neither I or DEB was eliminated lat night probably signifies the vig only had one shot I'm guessing.

I'd almost rather be eliminated ahead of DEB so that you guys have more time to figure out the other two scum. DEB is a lock, and if for some reason the vig can still shoot but opted not to, then he can still be shot tonight.

I think FOURS is more consistent in finding scum. THREES wasn't the rule I was aware of. It's always been FOURS.

I struggle with actually making cases on people, as evident by my attempt to show ISO analysis from PBE. I try to show what I see, and why I don't like it, but my solves always revolve around player motivations and gut.

PBE's posting is a lot of fluff and noise, buddying, and very light on engaging in a way that might turn the majority against them. In many of the big areas where they are pushing reads, they are usually doing it in tandem with another player.

Seems too safe too me.

I struggle to articulate my mastina read, and it's almost entirely born out of OMGUS, but the biggest reason I dislike the slot is the very large tonal shift in playstyle from very aggressive Day 1 to more reserved every day afterwards. She was more savage and unrelenting on BM, but felt like she was trying to assuage her reads into a conformed manner since Pichu was currently dominating Day 2. Very much like she was observing how the day was going down and trying to fit that narrative more.
