Good morning to you all. I'm not going to overspeculate, but I'm going to at least assume scum didn't go crazy with their role picks. I'm VT which means I'm just along for the ride this game. Flave's got his team he wants, Pooky his team of Masons he wants, other peeps got some juicy powerz probably, and then me... stuck in the middle twiddlin' my thumbs.- Toogeloo

No scum team is going to draft me. My scum meta is "get eliminated day 1 because you are bad at it," or "man you got lucky, you were obvscum, how the hell did you live to endgame and win?" That and I'm not "buddies" with anyone on site, I'm just here, so I'm more than likely low profile enough to avoid both being included in the scum draft and one of Pook's mason picks I'm guessing.- Toogeloo

Oh, the word "did" means I have scum knowledge?
C/D - Flavor DID state four names for his scum draft?
Cuz that's what he DID. I said he DID, and I meant that he DID, but I also said he knows we know he's scum in the same sentence, so it doesn't matter what he DID, it's not worth listening to him and ignoring him.

Exactly what I was feeling as well. There's a certain interaction with me that just feels like she's faking the read and trying to make it worse than it is. As soon as pichu backed off me for a moment, she did as well, which makes me feel as if she was attempting to pit pichu against me.In post 788, mastina wrote:Noraa's content has felt like scumposting to me through and through the entire time.- Toogeloo

His quote text walls are full of IioA. They are looking busy, but it's super fluffy.
I'm not a huge fan of having to come back to 27 pages that are mostly shit posts by players like pichu and the hydras. It demotivates me (and possibly others) to read everything we missed and try and sieve through for actual substance.
My experiences with Creaturescum remind me of the fat kid in dodgeball. I don't think he's someone Flav would actually "choose" to recruit for his scum team.- Toogeloo

Well, I want to start making some headway on an actual wagon. I want to do it on a slot that Pook wants us to focus on. And I don't want just have a naked vote on Ircher. The reason is legit, even if it's the only reason I have.In post 1494, Solstice wrote:

This'll actually be a problem if we allow it. It's going to be too easy to wash hands of responsibility or commitments if we defer to Pooky for everything. He should have a some say in lynched, but don't empower the slot too much because we'll get ambivalence from town to scum hunt, and we'll have scum just pushing Pook's agenda and looking good.In post 1571, Battle Mage wrote:In Stumpy we trust.- Toogeloo

In fact the tone of this statement in general is the type of behavior I'm wary of in general. In post 1571, Battle Mage wrote:I think both are mistaken, as they assume Pooky will actually just stick with that list of 4. I think it's highly unlikely that Pookstar and his Mason buddies have setup knowledge. I think it's totally possible as well for scum to claim town like roles that are believable. In post 1581, MURDERCAT wrote:Toog what do you make of BM softing then?

I'm good with either Ircher or BM currently. Trouble isn't really all that scummy to me. Ircher's fluff and IioA within the walls of quotes don't really strike me as productive town posting and are more of a post quota filling thing. I don't like that BM's current position that Pooky is responsible for town and our progression. While you/Pooky are worth regarding, you and your masonry are not infallible, and it's important that we disregard your advice from time to time, and also equally important that we don't hinge the entire game on your say so. It allows scum to weasel out of taking positions because they can attribute actions they take based on possible bad decisions by Pooky-management. Anyone who is willing to give you/Pooky all the leash you want and build cases or make plays based on your PoE will find ways to absolve themselves of wrong doing as well.In post 1612, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:@Those on the Ircher/Trouble/BM wagons:
What's the best reason you want to elim the person you are voting for?
Outside of the current PoE, I'm not fully feeling the town Noraa vibes yet, and her posting has been far more distracting and super fluffy in general. Dr. Easy Bake isn't giving me any real town vibes and is a bit too jokey with scum jokes for me to take seriously as a town slot. Creature is being rather useless in general, which is his M.O. as scum more than town, but I'm not sold on the idea that FL would actually draft Creature, so he's a black horse pick.- Toogeloo

That being said, in regards to Pooky managing us, I am not disillusioned to the fact that almost every game day is still going to come down to Pooky telling us what he wants and the vast majority of us are still going to work within his requests. I just don't like the idea in general since it will prevent certain naturally occurring associations from developing.- Toogeloo

I see the case on BM and I'm willing to cave except that I think softing pr on day 1 is risky play cuz u might attract trackers/watchers/cops/whatever. Methinks its not optimal play for scum!BM here especially cuz if he didn't, his wagon wouldn't have exploded like that(imo)

Nothing, and if you recall, I stopped reading there too.In post 3366, Solstice wrote:[What makes this game different from Death Curse, which had a 165 page day one?]
I have about an hour of free time during lunch, and then various spots of time in the evenings if I'm not spending time with my wife and kids. 30 pages of posts to sift through that include shit posts and walls of quotes becomes very difficult to maintain that I eventually just go with the flow of the game and worry about reading later when it slows down and I have specific things I want to look for.
I find reading ISOs to be a more productive use of time when I know what it is I am looking for. I don't engage conversations and I certainly don't care about anyone else's conversations, especially once they devolve into shit posts.- Toogeloo

If Detective is as weak as the claim sounds, having two in town with the exact same modifiers doesn't seem implausible. You have to literally catch the killer that night, right?
In fact if you both are claiming the exact same thing on a rather obscure role, it seems more plausible you are both town. - Toogeloo
