The Rules:

1. All site rules apply.
2. Be nice. Mafia games can get heated but remember never to attack the person.
3. Play to your wincon.
4. Days are approximately 10 days long, nights are approximately 48 hours long.
5. Failure to post at least once every 36 hours will result in a prod. If you do not pick up your prod in 24 hours, or if we have to prod you four times total or twice in one day phase, we will look for a replacement.
6. Please put votes in this format: VOTE: Titus. Please do not use bolded votes, as they may not be picked up by the vote counter. I'm not sure but I don't think so.

Spoiler: Versus Series rules

Signup Rules
- There will be nineteen players in all.
- There will be two treestumps: One town and one scum. These players are decided presignups and indicated in the signup title.
- Seventeen players will /in.
- This game has wisdom of the stumps and mod due to the drafting mechanics.
- 13 players will be town and 4 will be group scum. There are no third parties or traitors.
Creating the Teams
- The Masonry
  - The Town stump picks how many masons they want up to three.
  - For each mason the town stump doesn't pick, they get a one shot normal role of their choice with any normal modifier. Both treestumps are ascetic and unkillable.
  - Once the town stump has determined how many masons they want, they submit a list of that many players plus four. (Ex: If the stump picked three masons, the stump would submit seven names.) This will be their mason pool.
  - The moderator(s) will take this list and remove the scumteam.
  - The moderator(s) will then randomize the remaining names to determine the masons.
  - These player(s) will then get a private PT with the town treestump.
- Drafting the Scumteam
  - It's strongly recommended that the scum treestump have discord, skype, or be willing to use site chat to draft their scumteam.
  - From the list of 17 players, the moderators say two players who cannot be scum.
  - The scum treestump drafts a player.
  - The moderator(s) then determine two players who cannot be scum.
  - The scum drafter picks again.
  - Two more get removed.
  - This continues until the scum team is filed.
  - The scum and their stump have a PT.
- Creating the setup
  - Once the scumteam has their players, the scum treestump creates their team's roles.
  - The scumteam can pick most anything they want, and the moderators balance town around their pick.
  - The scumstump may also submit two rules the moderators must follow when designing the setup. (Ex: No cops/gunsmiths, All town must be joats). Any broken rules will be rejected.
  - The scumteam may not pick any alignment changing roles or any roles that automatically tell them who the masons are. Any gamebreakingly OP scum roles will be rejected.
  - Once the scumteam has their roles and the masons are determined, the moderators design the setup within 48 hours.
  - Balance is strived for but not guaranteed.
  - The moderators may create new roles or mechanics to create a fun setup.

Do we know that mod bans in draft phase are random?

For the record, I am not publicly stating how the picks and bans were decided. I feel this is the fairest to both town and scum. The game should not be about guessing what Titus may or may not have done. The rules, as written, are done solely to understand the setup and let players know Flavor may or may not have gotten his desired picks.

The group surrounded the wizard in chainmail. "He calls himself a battle mage. Let's see if he can cast a spell on us. We'll execute him if he does." One of the bears shouted.

"And if I don't because I am not a leaf. This is just a costume."

"So, we wouldn't even find a bit of Pooky's magic in you?"

"I am just ordinary, let me go."

"You're a leaf! You're hiding your magic. How can you be ordinary? It's in your name!"

After a few more exchanges, more than half the bears wanted Battle Mage exposed. They came with their rakes and windblowers, only to find Battle Mage was full of stuffing and not blessed with magical powers or leaves or magical leaves.

Nightfell upon the suburbs, forcing most to sleep. Only those with bits of magic from Pooky or Flavor Leaf opened their eyes. It was time to do the bidding of their precious plushies.

Most would have to regroup tomorrow. Would they be able to ferret out the scummy leaves in time?

As the beary good residents awoke from their slumber, they gradually began to uncover evidence of malfeasance at night. Lots of bear stuffing was tracked from the center of town. The group went around past the bakery and the gym to the hospital. The tracks stopped outside an ambulance. It was not known how, but one of the bears had managed to pull himself to an ambulance despite being shot fifteen times. Still, a doctor can't save themselves. No one responded to Not Known 15's call for help until it was too late.

The group quickly reformed and did a head count. Netflix and Chill were missing. Speculations ran rampant as the group went around town looking for them. Eventually, the group found themselves in their apartment. One of them had his eyes held open, forced to watch a sci-fi clip on loop until he died. The other was suspended from the ceiling. Given how intricate this death was, there's zero chance that Netflix and Chill was responsible for the death of Not Known 15. No. They were just informed about the capabilities of scum.

The group woke up the next day, demanding revenge for one of their own. They quarrelled and pointed fingers at each other, but they couldn't reach a consensus other than that the Bell ringing was quite annoying. Then, they remembered the annoying Bells hadn't been sounding at all. The clock Bells not ringing had to mean that the Bell ringer was off doing evil deeds that night. They pressured him over the lack of Bell ringing but their mind was made up. The Bell would ring one last time. This time it was for the Bell ringer's funeral.

When they viciously murdered Bell, they found a pile of leaves inside. His fur had a note inside leading to the real Bell. He was too traumatized to ever help. You guys sent him to the hospital to get better.

Town caught a leaf, thereby rescuing a beary good citizen.

The group decides they have the leaf problem under control. After one of the leaves was stopped, the group decided that Flavor Leaf would turn over a new leaf and let suburbia be a beary good place to live.

Unfortunately, Flavor Leaf did not turn over a new leaf. When the group gathered (some hungover), pichu was missing. The group followed back to their house. pichu was dead. His corpse bled over some notes. His house was a hectic scene. It was near impossible to move through the various strings connecting posterboards full of conspiracy theories. Someone knocked one down and the rest fell like dominoes. In the wreckage, someone found a tape recorder. It only contained pichu's voice on repeat. Their voice was tense and frazzled. "Gotta catch 'em all".

The group found a suspicious amount of easy bake ovens despite the kids being sent back due to the dangers leaves posed. It turns out Flavor Leaf's magic had a rare side effect. Dr Easy Bake was compulsively baking and making easy bake ovens.

The group got their hands on one of his cookies. It was poisoned, which explained how most of the scenes were easily structured.

Town caught a leaf, thereby rescuing a beary good citizen. The real baker lives another day. He got to work baking another feast.

About half the scumteam were prs, so I made half the town PRs. Almost all the PRs were mislynchable. The flips revealed that any type of ridiculousness would not be ccable.

The town PRs were ridiculously weak or usually negative utility. The vig only hit town, as designed.

Town blocked very heavily here, which was a huge factor.
