Gamma - I don't love the untethered speculating, but I'm trying to determine how much is Gamma and how much is his proximity to Pooky. People get influenced by neighbor groups, and my reservation on his scummy behavior is that Pooky is encouraging lolcat mentality. I think gamma saying lilith is scummy for a single RVS post is pretty scummy, given gamma granted Pooky's actions a free pass -- even encouragement -- but yeah...

this feels like a bit of a reach. have you seen that kind of influence happen before?

as for the group of 4 iirc I was feeling a little sketchy about gamma the other day but all his recent posts were pretty townie. A few people called out Noraa's gamma vote but for me it's the timing of it. Looks like she saw the numbers dwindling and was scared of the wagon dissipating and moving elsewhere. pooky seems townie but I don't trust myself to read pooky at all, I'm extremely inconsistent in my accuracy. vpb seems pretty transparently town to me in a way I'm not sure how to briefly summarize

why did u hammer gamma?

the wagon sat at e-1 for days, plus multiple people I trust were calling for a hammer, and basically anyone off the wagon had conceded to an info flip. most of the cases Gamma posted at e-1 look like high-effort high-bullshit, I read all of them before hammering and found nothing that didn't look like scum trying to save themselves from a stagnating wagon. his few interactions with me (idr when) were weird as hell, and I had a SR off of his Agar selfhammer setup. I also would have looked awful if I had checked in without hammering and he ended up flipping red.

this post feels like a lot of preamble to retroactively justify joining the noraa wagon without looking bad. like honestly it feels like fishing for a reason so he isn't viewed poorly for the jump as opposed to just... voting noraa. bulge had been completely disengaged w/ the game thus far, literally nothing on noraa, and i think if he was town, he probably would've just joined the wagon here

UT and reck seem to be genuinely looking for an end to the game. I'm not talking about WIM or activity or anything because this game has been quite slow across the board lately but in how willing they both are to allow their thoughts to evolve.

I would have died sooner if notty were scum. he doesn't have a hint of nervousness or carefulness to his posts that lead me to believe he is snowing me. his "purge the pool" play doesn't look like scum to me.

pooky would probably be doing more if scum I think, and he was pretty townie D1, but this isn't a very strong read.

vp has seemed pretty obvtown in tone and motivation this whole game, I dont see what pooky is seeing at all.

koba had weird positioning around both me/notty and a seemingly misplaced bravado upon replacing in. starbuck did not leave me with much of an impression.

lilith is mainly here by double-PoE. I admit I don't recall being majorly pinged by any of your posts in particular. you has some weird associatives with agar that her flip would shed some light on. A flip would give us a better understanding of scum's game plan, ie who is bussing whom, etc by going back to agar's old posts.

the best I can think is if we assume both partners were on me, and that she figured notty or Titus would hammer me (both extremely reasonable expectations, without even mentioning how the rest of the wagon was just prodging at that point). she gets no cred from hammering, and if there was 2 scum on me then obviously a mafia-majority wagon go thru is not a super favourable position to be in (esp with someone like Titus alive in the game lol).

I'm looking at UT again and one weird thing I picked up the other day is the :THINKING: thing confusing me because I think sometimes it means he agrees with the post in question and other times he is shading it without really saying much about whatever he is quoting.

on closer reading starbuck still doesn't leave me with a very strong impression beyond an honest/genuine tone to her posts. one thing that does stand out is she quotes just about every instance of someone complaining about the fast pace of the early game, but never really adds to the discussion, not that it is a discussion there is much worth adding to, but I mean she comments on each one in a sorta chummy buddy buddy way.

koba had terrible reads, I mean they were right about gamma but oddly confident about a very scummy slot, but powerfully wrong about cakez and lilith and me and almost definitely notty as well. I found it slightly weird that they didn't really have anything to do with me before I hammered gamma and then seemed so sure I was scum, only to back off, then act surprised other people were wagoning me? the jump onto notsci is extremely odd and maybe was the only way out they could see to save their partner lilith but that weirds me out a lot too with how they backed off of me. I don't pretend to know how koba thinks and I don't think wrong=scum, but so much of their stances are just so ass-backwards weird to me. thing is I don't understand why they would whiteknight for scumbuddy lilith so blatantly and like...unpleasantly? like no attempt at all to appeal or convince the town, all while calling attention to the controversial and very unsubstantiated yet loud and strong read. idk. when a lot doesn't add up like that I tend to lean scum. but the scum motivation is not apparent to me at all either.

Titus makes her stances very clear but hasn't done anything really in the way of taking the reigns, idk how much that means for such a late-stage replacement tho. definitely has her head in the game (as much as one can with the pace it's been moving at as of late) and is presenting a lot of ideas but yea not really pushing those ideas to the forefront at all.

I've gotten a much better gut feeling about every other slot (except pooky whom I have yet to read) alive, but I realize that could have to do with the multiple replacements. I don't see anything that jumps out to me as scum motivated but there's nothing that makes me think any of the three *have* to be town so this would normally be a very strong null which is at this point being pushed by PoE to a scumread.
