Your challenge in Lucky Numbers is to fill your grid first, but you never know which tiles you'll have to work with!

The rules are here. The English rules start on page 21.

The object of the game is to fill your 4x4 grid with number tiles. The numbers in every row and column must be in ascending order.

There are 80 tiles with four copies of each number from 1 to 20.

To begin the game each player starts with 4 random tiles in ascending order on the diagonal of their grid.

On your turn you may draw a tile from the face down stack or the face-up tiles on the table.

You then do one of the following:
* Place the tile in an empty cell of your grid.
* Replace any tile in the grid with the new tile. The replaced tile then goes face up on the table.
* Place the tile face up on the table.

Whenever you place a tile the numbers in every row and column must be in ascending order. A number may not be repeated in any row or column.

The game ends when the winning player has filled their grid.
The winner is awarded 2 points and every other payer receives a negative point for each empty cell in their grid.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I don't get the rules, is there some kind of restriction for what cards you can place?

You can only place a card if it makes the row and column both be in ascending order.

Nancy, just checking, you're aware that the tiles also have to be ordered from top to bottom? Cuz that's a weird placement
