This kinda sucks from a meta perspective because I had an apology post ready to go as soon as Day 2 came around, which was as follows:

I'd like to apologize for creating such a hostile environment for collaboration, on top of being both obstinate and wrong about everything. Not only is that not how you win Mafia, but it's also not how you be a good and kind person. Attacking people who go out of their way to help me is an extremely Karen thing to do. While I can't promise for certain that I stop doing that, I can promise to try.

Do we still want to eliminate Harumi? Harumi and I are the only people who tried to defend 2ndchosen1.

Intermittent work schedule makes it hard to be performatively towny in a game where hyperposting = town, yeah.

Yeah, Prism noted in the Iceland-themed Newbie game that their hyperposting was intended to highlight the weakness of that meta. It may just be that with forums having fallen out of fashion on the internet, people treat them more like Discord instead of their own thing. So you get strings of posts that make me say things like I did here.

Hmmmm. Canty is in a really tight spot, but Harumi just made an opening.

If I were backed into such a scum corner (I opened the spoilers), I'd say something like this:

Harumi, can you elaborate on that? I liked Krazy's elimination plan, but something about it has been bugging me--do you see it in a different light?

Then we wait for Harumi to explain, followed by:

Right, so it's not just me who sees it.

If Krazy is scum, then her plan to put Harumi, Marci, and me on the chopping block is a guaranteed win, spending her giant pile of towncred from turbo-bussing 2ndchosen1 and her complete pocketing of Alisae to do so. I predict that it goes something like this:

Day 2: Eliminate Harumi or Cantrip.
Night 2: Eliminate IVD, the cop.
Day 3: Pivot to Marci, using her hesitance from today as a rationale, and get her eliminated.
Night 3: Eliminate Meuh.
Day 4: With pocketed Alisae, eliminate the remainder of Harumi or Cantrip. Win.

We're pretty close to the deadline, and I feel that the above is exactly what's going on. VOTE: Krazy

...And then if Krazy tries to switch gears, use that as "proof" that she has to abandon the plan due to lacking towncred.

I'd wait to see how the town reacts after the nightkill (of IVD), since reactions to Marci and Harumi would become important. I could see Harumi going full-tilt on trying to kill me after that, or the debate changing to Marci's waffling Day 2 opinions. I might be able to get away with pushing "Marci was being so uncertain because she knew both of us were town".

I have no idea if any of this would work--I haven't had any scumgames, after all--but it's what I would try.

I can't tell if 873 is trying-too-hard-to-be-town or if Cantrip just wants to end a game he feels is hopeless.

I'm not exactly sure what the intent of the breadcrumb maneuver was. Do you point out the breadcrumb later, or let someone pick up on it?

I think it would have given you some credibility if you pulled it off, but not the amount that you needed. I figure that doing it at E-1 and then springing it during the same day wouldn't really fly. Refusal to claim seems like a huge deal.
