I think the increase in posting is due to the playerlist and this being a more fun setup/game as opposed to a newbie game. My annoyance and frustration is/was real and has nothing to do with my alignment. I’ve played with players who believe they are God’s gift to this game. I’ve been mislynched by them and I’ve been partners with them and they think they are better than they actually are. These people generally have poor scumhunting percentages, but focus on the few times they caught scum early and run big on that. The actual good scumhunters don’t boast how amazing and “brilliant” they are.

I surmised what type of player you were from our interaction and so I immediately placed you in that group. In my experience your jump onto me play is a scum/wolf play. You’re interaction with the playerlist is also scum/wolf play, but you’re Day 2 postings makes me question whether your trolling backfired on you and you’re trying to save face or you are actually trying to get more involved because that’s just your early m.o.

I’ve given my thoughts on Gamma so far. He’s getting scumread by several people and yet others are townreading him. Like I said having only scum games to judge him by I can’t give a true read. I’m following Nancy on this one. Although tonally, as scum I’ve noticed Gamma is more solid or more in control. Like there doesn’t seem to be question marks in his posts, but periods. Does that make sense to anybody? I don’t know how else to explain it. Fwiw, I’m not seeing that same tone in his posts this game.

Because of this I don’t have a read on 5uffering, never having played with him. BM replacing out wasn't a coincidence, he felt unwanted in a game where his own liability was the fact he wasn't invited to the table. This seems like a very curated playlist of people who are all familiar with each other, whether they want to admit it or not. I replaced in because the love of the game and I wanted to challenge myself, but if the mentality comes at the cost of just personal undoing and dealing with people who fail to read me for not being apart of their inner circle, then what am I supposed to do? If you're reading this and think 'this is just AtE' then you're not comprehending what I'm telling you. I very much want to take on the role of a player of this game and nothing else, but when I keep getting meta accusations or alt hunting it's very hard to deal with.

I also feel no resonance with the people I'm playing with. Like I stick out like a sore thumb and that's my one and only crime. Is it something on my face? The way I've said something? I think I've tried to pry into other's minds and ask questions about what they're thinking and it's mostly just been silence. My confidence only works in a continual feedback loop because I'm not reaching anyone. It's tiring and I've resorted to mostly bemoaning my situation because I'm not sure what else to do. I don’t know a lot of people in this game. Like I said way back when mostly everybody I know of I’m townleaning/reading. I’d rather just townlock people and follow you. I don’t care if it looks scummy. Everybody is focusing on meta which is fine, but I don’t got that.

I don’t care if I get scumread everybody does. It’s part of the game.
I get frustrated because people don’t have my “meta” which is primarily the only thing being used in this game to read people.
So if I townread a slot that others think is scum, I’m scummy or if I scumread a slot that people think is town I’m scummy. If I give my own thoughts on a point a, b, or, c, I’m scummy.

I have/had no idea. I had to ask Alisae what the role even meant. From what Alisae said and from what I read on the wiki it’s supposed to take away people’s powers. Obviously bad for town and good for scum, but I had no clue who to use it on or what benefit/detriment it would be for town/scum.
I’m thinking I need to just stick with newbie games.

I am in the same position. You keep doing what you have to because that's your wincon. I don't know what your wincon is however because you do things to me that don't make sense. What do you think of Gamma no longer scumreading you? What are your thoughts in general.

What doesn’t make sense to you? I don’t really think anything of it, which is why I didn’t mention it. The only thing (and this would be for outsiders) is Gamma didn’t town clear me when we were scum together. For me it means nothing for someone else like Samantha or krazy it might make a difference.

And my reads and thoughts are in my iso; luckily I don’t have a lot of posts so it shouldn’t be that bad to catchup. I haven’t seen anything to make change my reads, although Sara keeps pinging me because she seems to have locked onto me for some reason. Instead of placing me at null like others have because of not having meta, she scumreads for what I obviously feel is town scumminess at worse, not scum scumminess if that makes sense.

Italiano can vanilaize Clidd, which should presumably confirm both as telling the truth about their roles? I think it’s possible that Italiano’s role is in lieu of a vig but we won’t know that before we mass claim.

Didn’t Clidd already claim VT? And from what I know of my role it is both a mafia and town role, so the only way to prove I’m town is if I flip and you see that I’m green. Just using my ability isn’t gonna prove that. So if you’re vigging me then fine, but don’t act like there’s a plan to prove my innocence through my ability.

I know it’s not wack but I feel we sort of shared in the frustration of the town stump and I don’t necessarily think scum would care that much. I’ve already gave my thoughts on Clidd re: Saudade 3344 and honestly don’t remember why I had War & Peace in the suspicious category. I would have to look at it again, but honestly don’t feel like it at the moment.

Gamma and 5uffering are/were part of the town stump’s PoE and for their own reasons they were frustrated about this to the point that AtE and replacing out became the response. Having felt this and gone through it myself, I felt these responses were less fabricated and scum-motivated and more genuine frustration and annoyance. I’m not ruling out that they could be scum moves, but in the context of this game and what’s transpired I don’t think so. Scum wouldn’t try to purposely piss off the town stump imo. They’d try to get on their good side and within their townbloc.
