this is like, 10000 days late but i wanna answer this while i'm reading: i think i was especially frustrated by skitter's push bc i find being fun/social/flirty in games with player lists i like as something which is genuinely not alignment indicative for me, and it was irritating at the time to me because it felt like i am going to get scumread this game for behavior that i just find fun, and i won't be able to show everyone for sure 100% that it isn't an alignment thing with me until after this game/if i get flipped or killed, which sucks because i just want to hang out

so uh, question here, while i'm catching up... hasn't lucy been scumreading you to some degree most of the game? at the start, there was a bit of like "oh this is a little towny" but then it went to "i'm unsure" in 755 and then from there it's been a fairly consistent scumread? like, i guess the wording of this post implies a sense of it being recent to me but there's... progression there, even if it's in the gimmicky typing style

why would lucy decide to not go with the earlier tr and just keep off of your radar? knowing now who it is lucy is capable enough to go toe-to-toe, sure, but that seems like a lot of unnecessary effort instead of what she's done this game about your slot imo?

It's a free cheap shot to just throw calling someone "defensive", but do you actually in the alternative expect Ydrasse to just agree she's scum? Or even say "I can see how you feel that way but" when characterizing an entire playthrough that was randed differently is just going to be a harder errant scumread to sympathize with, actually.

fwiw i do share the same sentiment about pocketing btwn skitter/mena but i'm unsure if it's like... everyone is an outsider to their dynamic and seeing people interact that way is a little... idk, frustrating? it's a dynamic where you're like, oh, something is DEFINITELY going on there, why would they act like this (and if it's not this game, eventually they're gonna be in a game together and this'll be replicated if one of them is scum, having to go through this, and thus the worry becomes it's this game that it's happening)

i’m super tired and i keep trying to figure out which ~side~ (even if there aren’t really them it feels like people are blocking together on a shallow read over bc nuance is lost on me) is right in this and without a flip i feel like i’m not going to be able to figure it out but also i don’t want to flip in the pool of people fighting for fear it’s a big town slap fight and then it gets worse.

but elimming someone like chara/penguin doesn’t feel useful for sorting as much.. like it’s useful if they flip scum but my head is still going to hurt. i am in over my head this game

i'm also looking at Ydrasse, i think i put a lot of stock into the "i don't want you to be scum" thing (was from earlier in the game, was not to me), and her vote on me did not feel very... it feels stupid to say this, but i expected some sort of comment on the fact that she was voting me specifically, and that didn't happen.

i really just don't know who to vote this game at all, and the wagon on you is people i townread, so i thought it was a good place to throw one down

i know you are not ignoring me hello yes hi, i have a bad feeling i will be alive in this game for a while because i genuinely have no clue what's going on and then scum are going to sit and laugh at me in their pt while i am just smiling and nodding and trying to get a semblance of whatever's happening, and i feel like i keep repeating that but it's true, this game is confusing to me and hard for me to get a grasp on frankly, it feels like it's just going in circles and i know that it won't just be an arbitrary elim by the end of the day but... it really feels like it will to me, despite logically it Not Being Like That. it just feels tedious to sort through everything right now. it also feels like, whenever, i get an inkling of what id like to do, the person who i'd be down to kill comes back with some good points and it's tiring, this day 1 is very tiring in general

i wouldn't kill as of now probably? you, luca, day, lucy, s_s, probably pooky now too that i've thought about it, part of my issue with reading him is that he's theatrical/Loud/All Caps at times and i was finding it weird but as it's went on i feel like he's genuinely exasperated at times? the same with you, when you were fighting before, and i know that emotion isn't always towny but it Feels Like It
