It is strange thing to feel so much equal about two players those players so different from eachother and to think their evil is the same. This makes me think Menal has seen their rolecards and no their rolecards they score points in go fish because they match the colors.
I think Menal is trying to show simulation of villager who feel upset that other players are against him in the unfairness but his simulation is not sharp about when that really happen. One player is usually extra unfair.

It's annoying to not get to use a fun gimmick because I was kind of enjoying it so sorry that I wanted a second on the motion before dropping it, skitter. If you actually know me, you'd know it'd be very unlikely I would use a posting gimmick as a function of alignment. And you'd know that to the extent it involves my alignment, I'd have a strong bias against adopting a gimmick for scum games, because I've repeatedly identified my scum playstyle as among the archetypes highly focused on emulating a towngame with minimal interest in objectives, Ali's opposite, and a posting gimmick doesn't help with that. I'm also top poster in the bulk of my scum wins, "be opaque" isn't remotely close to my scum philosophy. I don't know why you're applying some other player's 2010esque scum philosophy to me if you know me.

But sure with more than one complaint I'll play more typically (I'm mulling over whether it's unsporting to require certain alignments from the complainers, it probably is, scum should get to , like, play the game and all).

I'll secret alt again sometimes and use more understandable gimmicks. Lash went fine. It was fun to have a gimmick as town but that might have made it more likely that I distort to an extent that becomes unintelligible since as scum I preview edit and like, is "curate" the word?, I refine my posts a good deal more.

I don't remember some of my reasons from a few pages ago TBH, you keep asking me for information about the scumread so I have to reconstruct. It's easier for me to explain things right after I've moved someone's needle up a few inches or down a few inches right after I've done so than to dig back

I mostly outed cause being secrety and the gimmick were kind of a package deal for me (but letting people slowly figure out my main seemed fun, but then skitter said something that made me need to reference a game which mattered more than the fun.) And I stopped the gimmick because people were saying they were like becoming unable to play with it, and I think I'd do that as any alignment in interest of like, niceness.

I guess you could maybe make a pairwise read about whether skitter and Chara could be saying they didnt actually mind the gimmick that much in a scum PT and make conclusions off that. I feel like I've posted with a gimmick in spite of scumpartners complaining about it before, but I can't quite remember it or put my finger on it. Salamence20 complaining about pinktext? Green Crayons complaining about pinktext in purgatory. I think that was it. Not a fullon gimmick.

I think they have the material it would take to townread me here and it kind of felt like the surges in how much she was townreading me popped up right after they had seen something particularly distinct for me. Which has given me a good feeling about the slot aside from the mindmelds.

"average alignment indication" is... a concept. it implies one should take an ISO as a whole, then look at town indicators vs. scum indicators and then see which outweighs the other?
instead of holistically deciding which evidence to use and which evidence to discard, then continuing to do that until you're only using the correct evidence? if i have conflicting evidence, i try to figure out which evidence is getting thrown out because i've misinterpreted it. a "correct" read would be all of the evidence pointing the same way.

and do you mean Day has considered the entire game and come to the correct read, and it's obvious to you that that's what happened, so you don't find the defending behavior scummy?

The former is how I approach the game. Have you ever heard the philosophy "defenses are scummy?" You should give some weight to refutations, but more often than not someone was onto something and saying it in the wrong way which made it refutable, you added some Mandela effect to a gut-read that's better than rand. The latter approach sounds an awful lot like how you could lose to a player like RadiantCowbells over and over again, biasing in favor of players who are good at characterizing their own behavior. You don't get better at characterizing your own behavior when you roll town.

Since I approach the game that way I project it onto others. Day's play becomes hard to characterize and hard to characterize in a way that's scummy if we project a large amount of recency bias onto them here, but from my perspective Occam's razor just suggests he lost an argument about whether to put a pound of flour for me or put a pound of flour against me and but there's still ten pounds of flour in the windmill.

A couple low points from skitter this game

luca to elaborate a bit: i townread you fairly strongly at this point
and i believe that you have a fairly high level of accuracy at reading norwee
(you sound kinda exactly like me when i talk abt reading someone like a50 for exactly)

i think you're therefore probably on to something, and i don't know who scum is rn, so i feel like it's worth a shot

i dont' think you're scum who's pulling 'i'm super good at reading norwee and y'all should sheep me because':
- you don't seem to expect you'll get sheeped
- if you were and you misflip town nor you'll lose a load of credibility

for all of those things together, if you're actually that good at reading him, i feel reasonably decent sheeping it

The hedgy language in this post and the assumptions about Luca's attentions were really TMI. A really unnatural thing about it a relative lack of content on Norwee, which was not instinctive for me as town, instinctively I wanted to be transparent about how my thought process compared and contrasted with Luca's. If Luca suddenly dropped support, I'd have more to explain on my own progression, skitter doesn't.
