Phase 1(5 Days):

Players select teams of three to be a part of. (As soon as two teams are selected, the last three players will be automatically entered into a team)

Phase 2(6 Days):

Each team of three is given a team private neighborhood and a hydra account.

Each hydra account is given access to a shared private neighborhood.

The Main Thread will be locked.

Players vote in their team private neighborhoods for a team to be eliminated. (Upon a majority of 2 being reached, this will be announced in the shared Private Neighborhood that a team has voted for another team)

Each team votes together. (a majority of 2 teams) will select the eliminated team.

A town player may choose to leave the game at this point to force their entire team to leave

<- If this happens skip directly to Phase 4

Phase 3(1 Day)

Upon an elimination, there is a special 24 hour twilight discussion period - if a town player from an un-eliminated team chooses to leave, the eliminated team will be saved.

A town player may choose to leave the game at this point to force their entire team to leave

Players pair up into dance pairs for a 6P Dance

Phase 5 (4 Days)

Players vote for one dance team to leave.

Players may leave their partners and force the entire pair to leave.

Mafia

wins if they reach parity at any point with the Town or the deadline runs out in Endgame.

Hmm, a brief read of what has transpired and led me to a number of conclusions. OkaPoka is welcome at my table, as is Ydrasse. Mother Dearest needs to be much muchier. DkKoba has my love and support in their ongoing unfortunatlities, however, can remain within the dark pool, should they wish to be a hero then they will have ample opportunity. Aaron has a sense of the ruin upon them.

Yeah, I don’t have a clue what to make of Aaron but also currently feel the worst about Mom. I still think that it may be too soon to have a death team but that’s obviously not the same thing as trying to have srs, so unless Oka’s locking that in prematurely, at least he’s doing something to move the game forward.

I disagree with the notion, and find myself at odds with Oka taking the leadership position here. it's easy to manipulate the game state to turn things towards his favor. I don't think anyone should blindly agree because it would be easy for town and scum to take charge in this set up, and imo scum taking charge could easily lead to a d1 loss

I agree we shouldn’t rush any of this. I think perhaps we should treat this game like Coalition and make heal/hurt tags to reveal who we’d all prefer to be paired with and this way, we have juicy associatives once the actual teams are decided once we get a scumflip.

Because if we don’t do that first, flips won’t really tell us much of anything.

the general idea of how the setup should be played is we use today to force the three scummiest players inside one grouping to vote out right? so that's the deathpool.
now in order to force this deathpool to actually happen and without any chance of sabotage, we essentially need to stack the deck on the other two trios in order to basically "force" the deathpool elimination. like an insurance policy. so the "babysitters" are people i would trust to carry out the votes in their respective groupings and force the deathpool lim to always go through. the "wildcards" are people i suspect might be vulnerable to a change of heart and cause a lot of unnecessary chaos. the ??? are people im not sure if they can be a babysitter or will they be a wildcard, if it comes down to it though, better have them take a role as a babysitter than a wildcard you know.

then finally the groupings are just an example of how id put everything together if we made pairs right now.

koba/mom are my two top scumreads and aaron im just like ??? on so that's my deathpool.

then group 2 is you and me as the babysitters to force the deathpool lim. sans/hectic might pull some shenanigans so im just insuring that doesn't happen.

group 3 has ydrasse and unwnd as babysitters to force the deathpool lim. hatters is a complete question mark so im just insuring if they are going to pull something weird, it won't happen.

then some other considerations is im trying to limit the effect the groupings are going to have on any reads because i feel in general hoods have a lot more value as scum as a pocketing tool than for town as a reads tool esp when we can talk in main thread for the actual dance. i feel like splittting hectic and ydrasse apart could be wise because they probably both have an understanding of each other that can result in pocketing. also i feel like unwnd, although a babysitter, does need a reasonable voice to make sure they follow through and ydrasse has shown a strong understanding of the plan and is able to communicate it in a non hostile way whilst i might be uhh, more grumpy about it. then there is you harley, if im right on your main then scum really wants to pocket you if you are town, and since i don't believe in hoods i am an insurance against a pocketing attempt.

Oh okay I see but what about my idea about players doing the heal/hurt thing? I think associatives can tell you a lot. We probably should have actually done this first because obviously now, no one will of course want to be in the designated condemned group, so it probably won’t work anymore. :/

I’m the most hesitant about those two though. Probably not Koba since they’re accurately reading me.

With MHTP, their read on me looks sheepy but Aaron is just seeming really weird. Maybe it’s an over reaction on my part but it’s his read on Ydrasse that make me think he might be trying to pocket her.

I think right now you have a bunch of Proactive people (Ydra, Myself, Aaron?, Oka) all doing their own thing. I don't really feel a sense of unity from my common posters but this is likely given how early the game is. Right now I am willing to believe there is good intentions in most of us who care enough to continually post, but if I haven't hinted at it enough, I don't really like Oka here. Just feels like he's talking around the people he apparently wants to wrangle into his plans, and that his reads and thoughts are only processed by what is given to him. He lacks the nature of seeking things out himself. I especially thought him scumreading me for not agreeing to his plan and then going 'ok I guess unwnd can be town now that he's on board' lacks depth. Yes I understand the game is still around the 500 post mark but I think I've given out enough opinions to start dissecting them, but it's like he's not really interested in reading me, only categorizing me.

With that thought tangent out of the way, you then have the grouping of (Hatters, Harley, Sans) who I think are being awkward. Sans is awkward because he claims he's overgamed so the intent behind him trying to prod me and other things just isn't very successful. Could it be scum who wants to put in minimal effort but still cares enough to play somewhat wincon? Or town who feels compelled to at least try despite the burden of it all. I don't know if I'm ready to decide and that's where (without repeating myself) I want to see what he does in a PT instead. Harley/Hatters are interchangeable to me, but I will say that Hatters seems a bit more sensitive to everyone around them. Harley just posts and doesn't really care if anyone is listening, or if the things she says will eventually mean something. I don't townread the behavior from Harley and I think Hatters needs to stop being so cagey.

dkkoba/fire has got to be scum. like no way koba is town. they were fighting me on how to play the setup even though they agreed on how to play the setup, only fought when i pushed that optimal play hard. then they heelturned and said they were actually wanting to play optimally the entire time, its just they fought me because i was being annoying? but i was annoying them by trying to get them to play optimally which they said they wanted to do the entire time. then they also had spent time talking about how they wanted to townbloc and reach out etc, but they never did that. then they basically kept throwing me in their scum pool reactively essentially but kept fluctuating between "why are you scumreading me" to "you are scum" over and over. i felt like they were just chucking shit on me until something landed. just has to be scum right?

and then aaron is just locking koba/fire as town and criticizing me tryharding or something? i dont really understand their play. they wanted to flirt but not flirting? just low activity until they seemed likely to die? is the koba/fire read a tmi thing? just a puzzling iso. unwnd is puzzling too with their fire reads flip but then unwnd and koba can't really be scum together can they. but unwnd and aaron i suppose could make sense. its weird.

then of course if im completely wrong on everything and none of me poe is right then its something like ydrasse, sans, harley just egging me on to just win the game for them. then you have the weird interactions of mom and hatters who are in the position of being third deathpool choice but rather than taking each other down, they are focusing on taking ydrasse down. are they seeing something im not seeing? or are they both scum and this game got weird.

The problem is, where reads conflict a deathpool can be a townpool within the players contained within. I consider both pools I've proposed to be town-inclined thus far. Personally I would prefer that yourself of Oka are placed in differing pools, but I would also be happy to see the banishment of Aarons Fire and Wind grouping.

It’s possible. I’ve seen scumgames where buddies hated each other and town lost because of that. It’s happened to me. I rolled scum with the teammate from hell and things got ubertoxic between us. I even went so far as complain to the mod privately who refused to intervene. So we basically won because town decided it was impossible for us to ever be buddies and interact that way.

Albeit it’s rare but it definitely does happen and I’ve lost games due to making anti associatives because of scum players having personal issues. okay so, full disclosure: i wasn’t active during the night phase for this game, but harley and sans were in our pt

sans had his lowest read as fire, and then hatters, and then me. however, he was trying to convince me and harley to vote out hatters/unwnd/noraa despite having a very firm read on fire

his logic was that fire’s group had only fire as scum, which he seemed sure of, and then either unwnd or hatters could be scum, or me and harley

which is fine in theory, he’s right that it’s 1-2 per group, but given he leans me and harley as scum, i dont get why in the night he spent time trying to appeal to us to vote out the unwnd/hatters/noraa group when he seems more certain today that it’s me and harley

i thought aaron was towny before i knew it was noraa for the way he was playing. once noraa replaced in, i continued to think the slot was towny but with even more confidence.

I don’t understand why you thought Aaron was townie but the moment Noraa repped in, it was blatantly obvious. I’m still shocked they’re the same person. I really thought Aaron was muffin or even possibly Katsuki (if you know who that is)

I really need to ask Pooky but I since I accepted sans/Ydrasse before a formal invitation was issued, I thought my accept would be viewed as an intention and not as final. So, that didn’t actually happen - not intentionally on my part anyways - but it’s obviously too late to go back and change it now.

I’m sure it would have been fun since Ydrasse never actually posted in our PT and I was expecting Hectic to crack jokes and amuse me, so that didn’t happen either. Where do I go to request my refund?

One of our number is all but confirmed. I have no reason to doubt our Queen. I have had held firm believe since being forced into the trio that I had successfully attained a townbloc. Their read upon me will either confirm the integrity of this block, or refute it.

The White Queens reads, are white hot. Slight error, but enough to correct me thoroughly and force a re-evaluation of my thinking.
The Green Wind I am sure will come to the true conclusion.

In Fifth you had actual reasons for switching your read on me, that’s the difference. You switched from tr to sr me with no reasons.

My current solve is Hectic + one of Hatter/Ydrasse /unwnd. Probably Hatter/Ydrasse has one scum, unwnd less likely. If Hectic were town, he wouldn’t flip on me for no reason. And his positioning around Noraa is really strange. If according to him. he’s now claiming to tr Hatter than why did he propose to Noraa and then he rescind’s it for no reason. Why? None of it makes any sense to me.
