the logic people were using to justify voting out nacho was so, so bad and i probably would have legitimately scumread some people for it - a particular player being hard to elim late game is utterly irrelevant, your goal should be to vote the player with the highest likelihood of flipping scum and that definitely wasn't him! the momentum swings in this setup are huge, don't think i comprehended that aspect of the setup until i got into the gamefree crypto- petapan

bork, bork, bork...it's reverse psychology. me resisting the wagon just galvanized people into wanting it even moreIn post 1941, Kismet wrote:i mean peta came in angling to defend nacho, something that i think we can both agree is oblique to his wincon given they've both flipped.
When looked at in that light, he may have just wanted to pocket nacho thinking nacho would wiggle out of the elim inevitably, or really just decided nacho was town before receiving his scum pm and decided just to roll with it and see where it look him.free crypto- petapan

i'm just not seeing VFT or Infinity (or you) as scum and nothing is changing my view on that
we're eliming comfortably in PoE with what i feel is a good wagon comp
if this is wrong again i will have an absolute breakdown on D3, but i mean, that's what i signed up for playing this setupfree crypto- petapan

i think your effort on day 2 was ~fine, really, (at least in the sense that you looked more town to me with perfect knowledge) it was just that momentum was against you for not being around day 1 and people had seemingly already made up their minds about you and at that point people didn't care what you were saying. first impressions in a mafia game can often go a long way
town players in this game have been very resistant to re-evaluation!free crypto- petapan

easily could have been a town sweep if not for ppl's inexplicable fixation on nachoIn post 81, Cabd wrote:I'm gonna bet on 1 or 2.

yeah, from when i got in i could see the path to victory was incredibly tight - so many of the players were just never going to get voted ever. i knew we had to get nacho day 1, we'd get bulge after that, but then the 3rd was going to be incredibly hard. it's also a setup where the momentum swings are huge - a day 1 scum elim puts enormous pressure on scum because they all have to be stuck there and left as potential chain elimsIn post 148, fferyllt wrote:bork and I were talking about this setup and how much people who have played it love it/hate it.
In 2013 we made an effort to get it into the approved Open setup list, but llamafluff thought it was too scumsided. 7-5 ratio and no PRs does make it look like some kind of mountainous nightmare.
If they haven't played it, I don't think people appreciate just how much info town gets from the wagon movements and the sacrifices. I feel like if anything the setup is slightly townsided.free crypto- petapan
