I would personally prefer it if either town or some other faction won the game. I hate draws. Hectic might like them, I don't know, but I've always hated them. This hatred matters to me. When I was about ten I traveled across the country for a chess tournament that I had qualified for, because after playing very little rated chess play I had managed to never lose any games and my rating was somehow high enough to qualify. In the first round I was like wow each player gets a 90 minute chess clock. That is so much time. I spent so much time on each of my moves. So did my opponent. It got down to where each of us had 30 minutes left for each of us, then we reached an endgame that was something like two minor pieces against one minor piece, I can't remember how many rooks each player had but queens were definitely gone and I wasn't up more than a minor piece. And my opponent started moving his pawns to block rather than go after any of my pieces and I was like, ok, I just tried to keep the pawns from promoting. Then my opponent offered me a draw and said that after 50 king moves the game would automatically become a draw. I said I'd never heard of it. I asked what my incentive was to agree to a draw if the rules would trigger one anyway and none was offered beyond some kind of symbolism of a handshake draw rather than a mechanical draw. So instead I just moved a piece and then the judges were called on the 50th king move and the judges reviewed the move history and said the 50 king move rule is a real thing but pawn moves and captures reset the 50, and there were a bunch of pawn moves in the last 50 moves and a capture like 40 moves ago so it wasn't close to being triggered. Then we kept playing and I beat his ass.

Tanner is actually the only person in this universe with consciousness. All other beings in this universe are NPCs. I mean, obviously, in this game, I'm an NPC, Hectic said so at the start of the game. But I meant in the more cosmic universal sense. We are all defined only in the impact we might have on Tanner. All people who have ever existed or will ever exist only matter inasmuch as they might affect Tanner and his life.

That means that as the only individual in the world with any sentience, he alone is capable of any evil. Moral good is merely the absence of evil. Even if Tanner does good things most of the time, he probably did something evil, at some point or another. I mean so have we. But we are NPCs. It is just the nature of how we are. We only create adversity against eachother that somehow adds texture and complexity to Tanner's life, or to the extent any of the awful things we do fail to do even that, it is irrelevant, because imagining us not doing the evil thing is identical to imagining us not existing. Our predestination to do so is inherent in the nature of who we are. Someone who will not regale you with a tale of how they took an arrow to the knee is not truly a guard of skyrim, just a man who is paid to defend a city and wear heavy metal armor.

But Tanner, Tanner has adjacency. All decisions he makes are points along the meandering path of his free will and consciousness, ideas about what his futures could hold, and what he shall and shall not like them to hold. When even a fraction of those choices are wrongful, his evil grows. Maybe he cuts in line at the grocery store. Maybe he willfully does not laugh at one of my jokes. Maybe he does not venmo me money for the dinner I dreamed I dropped off for him last night. Like entropy, evil only grows, increasing the total darkness in the universe.

However, evil is beautiful. Paintings cannot be painted without black. Stories cannot be written without villains. Each of our imperfections and failing as NPCs only exist to add complexity and nuance to the universe Tanner inhabits, even, that is there very purpose.

Inferno Halo is a level 8 spell. To cast it, Yang must draw all the Tanner Hatred from the Tanner Hatred Pool. The spell may not be cast unless the Tanner Hatred Pool is full, and Yang is not silenced, disabled, petrified, or asleep.

Inferno Halo must target a cat, dog, goat, or porcupine. Robert M Hunter must be selected when casting the spell. A d1.4 is thrown for an accuracy check. If the accuracy check is greater than 0, the spell strikes it's target. Then a coin is flipped. If the coin flips tails, the Halo expands outwards, causing no harm to the cat. If the coin flips heads, the halo tightens into a furious ball of fire, shimmering and blazing with incinerating intensity and annihilating Robert.

Not really. I'm trying something a bit different this game; a bit more of an advisory role so to speak.

There is a pattern I've noticed where players talk about some weakness they have or something, then later shift away from it, but it's in a way you can tell isn't deliberate. This looks like town because Ircher later had more and more impressions to share, but they were just because he happened to have more thoughts. There's a lack of awareness of Ircher's overall presentation.

This is a very towny thing to ask, it genuinely can produce material that could go different ways. Ircher is pretty clearly unaware of Robert's alignment, which would indicate Ircher is town.

When super smash brothers brawl came out, I was thrilled and excited to try out all the characters. In the previous game, I had been best with Yoshi and Dr. Mario. But in the new game, I was enamored with Zelda, a character I had found fun in the previous game but never had success with. In the new game, her moves had more damage and range. More importantly, she had a visual rework, and looked stunning.

I gave due diligence trying each character in the game, but settled on playing Zelda. She had a powerful fireball, a magic palm spell, and big kicks. I was able to beat my friends who had not played much every time and beat my friends who played plenty about half the time.

Zelda was special in the game in that she could transform into a different character in the middle of the match. Her other form was Sheik, a ninja, an element of the plot of Ocarina of Time in which she had a more masculine presentation as a ninja (or something like it) that disguised her and kept her safe from Ganondorf.

I liked the idea of being able to swap to a different character in the middle of the game. I definitely wanted to play Zelda most of the time. She had the magic, and a defensive strategy that I felt suited me. I learned to use the Sheik form well enough to beat specific characters that lined up more poorly against a nimble character, or used the Sheik form at the beginning of matches. Sheik's moveset had properties that made them deal the most damage earlier in the match.

Over time, I couldn't help but notice that the list of characters Sheik "lined up better against" was growing as I mastered both the Zelda and Sheik form. I couldn't help but notice that the time when it was "late enough in the match to swap to Zelda form" was pushed later and later, as the number of characters Sheik could finish off with tiny hits more reliably than Zelda's slow magical thwacks (prone to dodging) grew to include more and more of the cast.

I was increasingly dismayed by this. Sheik was only an accessory to a character whose aesthetic appealed to me. I spent eons deciding which of Zelda's dresses I most preferred and couldn't even remember what Sheik wore. Friends were forced to point out to me that I was just throwing games into losses by turning back into Zelda, consistently dealing less damage once I did so. At an incredibly rudimentary mastery of each character, Zelda could perform as well, but once I became adept at each character it became clear that Sheik's edge was a Swiss army knife, not a special purpose blade.

The point of the game is to win, presumably. As the foolishness of donning Zelda's dress became more and more evident, I played the form less and less. I reached a point where the only character I could list as a reason to play her was the Ice Climbers.

Someone discovered a new dashing strike ability for Sheik at around this point, months in. It required very specific timing. I spent about an hour trying to learn it, and couldn't. I decided since I couldn't use one of the characters special ability, I'd rather play a different character. But there was also an element of sour grapes, it felt like an offramp from playing a character who had seemed exciting and had gradually shifted into a begrudging necessity.

Years later, I played a different game, and learned of a similarly hard ability, and spent -6- hours practicing hers until I got it. It was a matter of will. There was a difference in my patience for something I truly wanted to enjoy.

I will always miss Zelda.

If you tap the jump button with a precise timing with pikachu's collision teleporting against the ground, the game glitches and allows pikachu to jump from that position. That puts you in the jump state, where you can very soon initiate another teleport again. If you mastered this technique, you would be even better at teleporting around, avoiding fights, and being cute.

Flea forged all of faer patents of nobility. However, they were forged by a maid who taught herself to write on her own by candlelight. This maid studied countless illustrated books, deciphering the patterns. It was not possible to sneak into the library and be in it overnight unless she skipped dinner hour, so she worked with pangs of hunger. All so that one day she complete her task. Flea every morning would bring her breakfast. Many a day that would make her late to the docks, and the punishment for being late for unloading a cargo was a brawl with the overseer. Fae was strong enough to win the fights, but only won one time, because fae saw in the overseer's eyes that fae would be fired if fae won anymore. So there was a greater measure of pain when so many of these fights were lost. Fae bad to be able to afford the maid's breakfast.

We may use the word forged to describe how the patents of nobility would created, but in this way they are more genuine than perhaps any in the world and Flea is true royalty.

Tell that to the hyperfocus. I'm trying to replay Pokemon Blue to get all the cheevos and potentially stat to learn speedrunning.

Plus I know for a fact I'll get a "Hah flea froze" read.

I speedran pokemon red with Clefable runs because they are fun asfuck. She gets water gun, then STAB mega punch off the bat. Bubble beam real soon. Lt. Surge's gym gives tbolt which is absurdly good obviously. Body slam shows up was too early in the game for its base power so when it has STAB on your carry it's crazy. Eventually there is ice beam. You don't have to feel obligated to do the ohko move glitch crap because Clefable can't learn any of it. No earthquake either but you don't need it. You beat poison with Psychic. Which is from a random guy in a house.

The main thing that makes it more fun than Nidoking runs to me is that she keeps ohkoing in endgames without the fissure cheese you would need to do with Nidoking, and she's much less of a baby when you transition carries off from Squirtle.
