So, first of all, hello. Secondly, I think I'm ok with a T3 vs VFP. I agree that the lack of votes is weird, and I can see it as a stall tactic. I'm also trying to decipher which posts are flail and which posts are attention-seeking for the sake of entertainment. What do you think?

No one's been grouping up and there are no flips, so I can tell you which players' avatars and posting styles I don't like, but me saying anyone's scum right now would be off of personality bias. I think you guys waiting for a certainty you're not going to receive on D1 is why you've had so many swap-outs and delays.

I prefer James being around, and I like that he's on the other wagon. It could literally just be his avatar, though. I feel like there's the 1v1 between VFP and T3, the generic gray of sushicow/claskburger/ladybulge, the distant log cabin of granpda and hockeyfan, and then boring james, who I find boring in a good/safe way. Not having a consensus keeps everyone from having to have accountability for a flip. It's like this weird waiting game.

I wasn't trying to insult you. I meant boring as in less risky. HockeyFan voteparked GrandpaMo for most of the game, so I figured there could've been something there, and GrandpaMo hasn't done much with his vote either other than voting you, then nobody, then a pressureless vote on me. I try to build associations, but, with no flip, it's just a popularity contest. I'm surprised this hasn't devolved into a meme thread what with the stagnation.

I don't know how I'm supposed to towncase StrangeMatter when he never voted for anybody. It's all subjective. I feel like the only reason you didn't like Rocky was because he voted you in RVS.

Also, I'm town because of nothing right now. Unless Clasko has a result on me, and then I'm town for that, but I'm questioning whether you guys are actually going to elim from James' wagon or if it's going to be a free-for-all.

And, to GrandpaMo, what I was saying was everything can be perceived differently, so it's pointless to me to advocate for some player I may not agree with using actions that ultimately led nowhere. I know it's less fun that way, but it's even less fun for me to pretend to make sense of that rabble.

Progress the game? This is why I say this game is subjective - I don't see how beleaguering a point with walls of text (which can be easily misinterpreted and spun to agenda like most things on this site are) is progressing the game any more than stating your sentiments concisely and directly. Not saying I hate walls of text, just saying that most of these "cases" (i.e. HockeyFan saying I haven't tried to progress the game) come down to personality and playstyle differences. You end up with two jobs as town - find the mafia and win a popularity contest.

I responded to GrandpaMo the way I did because I'm old - instead of trying to feed him some subjective pandering nonsense, I tried to speak objectively: the only way he would concretely see me as town was if Clasko had a result on me. Everything else comes across as wishy-washy beggy bullshit or WIFOM.

With that being said, am I allowed to question VFP replacing out as soon as T3 was caught? Or how the 1v1 between T3 and VFP didn't move to VFP but instead went to James?

Maybe. I just feel it's obvious. I didn't kill James and I hammered T3. Look at the actions of other players - I don't know what more there is to say. I think people just want to post because that's what they find fun about the game.

I wasn't trying to be passive aggressive, I was trying to be direct: at no point did I insult anybody, so at no point did I expect to be insulted. With that being said, I'll allow you to calm down from your AtE so that, when I actually do decide to re-engage this game, it'll be because I want to have fun, not because I'm upset.

Coming from either one of you, I have the lowest post count and seem the least likely to defend myself. If it's Lambda, I've been butting heads with VFPeta and am clearly biased to vote him, and, if it's VFPeta, you have a better chance of framing me or Lambda than the newbie who lurked his way into a replacement.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but it doesn't make sense. I'm getting big "my time to shine"/"super sleuth" energy, and I know that's part of the game, but I can't sit here and pretend this is anything other than subjective, self-serving angleshooting when everything is based on opinion or interpretation.

I don't see the point of WIFOMing hypothetical NKs - "I would have..." etc - I don't believe any of it. Saying replacements are scum-indicative is moot because we've all been replaced - the only difference is that your guys' slots weren't filled with newbies. You imply that T3 not voting me would have been distancing, but say that since he did vote me, it's bussing. And then you go looking for shaky play in newbie predecessors, but Strangematter being bored doesn't make him scum.

And re:being bored, I don't think T3 and Bulge joking within the first few pages in a newbie is alignment-indicative, but I'm willing to concede you believe that, even though your next post is you expressing unfamiliarity with Bulge's play. The whole thing just seems ad hoc.
