my 2 cents on james (sorry grandpa), i was getting somewhat awkward/forced vibes from his early posting before the claim. my initial reaction to 40 was that i can see scum motivation behind it, specifically the "if I redact it later[...] feel free to hammer me" bit, but aside from it just being a particularly distracting shitpost, i cant find a reason for town to post this seriously. with 104 tho i'm thinking it could be townfuckery that's drawing my suspicion. i stand by the forced feel i was getting early on, but call him a light scumlean for me for now.

cowsloveSushirolls is being sporadic, it is really hard to tell if it scummy or townie for me.
The Bulge is a lurker/coaster. Along with the not voting and reasoning I think there's a good chance he's scum.
StrangeMatter is scum, they've had 160 odd posts and haven't even contributed a read yet, weird. They comment on their opinions of Lurkers whilst lurking/coasting, without giving names or being cued. I'll tell you why this is scummy. This is kind of the opposite of bussing. With bussing you want to get your own scum member pressured, and you want to seem as town like by being the main person pushing the wagon. In this case, they don't want to name any actual lurker, so when a town flips, they weren't pushing the wagon and would garner no suspicion.

I'm confident the 2 scum are in [T3, The Bulge, Looker].
It's unfortunate StrangeMatter got replaced when I noticed this, so I'm not going to push Looker too hard as they can't explain everything behind a predecesor. I'm not hammering anyone outside of these 3 D1.

The reasoning is steeped in scum theatre. I'm less certain about this one than the cows as of so far, but you have to ask yourself.

Why would you bread crumb and get 2 people who (if you were doctor) would not know your role in particular to read it. The more you did it the more other people would notice. I don't buy this in the slightest.
You were using it to fake claim doctor at a later point in the game, but you didn't expect to be pressured to this extent, so you now have to use some bogus excuse to try and get out of it. Not to mention, why T3 would a scum pair both be the ones hard pushing a certain hammer? You aren't going to flip green but if you did, me and VFP would both luck suspicious, versus a normal shove, where only one of us would be suspicious. You aren't making any sense.

Withholding a read like this is scummy. Why're you hiding it? If you thought we were Power Roles you'd just say town read. If you thought we were scum you'd say we were scum reads. If scum realize this and don't kill me, then I am kept alive as basically cleared and scum potentially waste their roleblock. TSTBS doesn't apply here. In 2070 I died Day 1 while fake claiming doctor. In 2070 he did it entirely as a joke. I don't know why you're bringing up 2070.

The whole idea was based on things like:
Developing reads based on who is being more opportunistic, baiting them into thinking you're a PR if you're a VT (this worked), making them thing you're a fool so they don't night kill you, it can generate conversations.
Also there's a reality vs theory point, in theory it lowers the hammer pool for PRs, in reality it isn't that simple, scum know I'm town, they could believe me and be wrong (me being a PR), they could not believe me and be wrong (me being a VT but they think I'm a PR), then them being right, in a vacuum there's then a 50% I get hammered, which as a VT is better for not hitting a PR.
I have thought about this a fair bit and I don't think it is anti-town, more that its in a risky area.
That was my full motivation for what I did anyway if anybody was wondering.
