It is now 8pm, I've spent the day either in the loft or stripping wallpaper from daughter's bedroom (and it has been high 20s and I stink even after a shower), and tomorrow is painting.. I have nothing to add to the game today, but that is normal for me, I only ever become more active later on.

I agree with the sentiments in this post but not the conclusion.

I feel owo was disgruntled at having to hammer a partner. The tone is right but the reason is wrong.

Mathblade's vote was suggesting that I protect someone (that's why the WWF ad). The fact that scum didn't shoot me gives Math townpoints for speaking in a semi-unique manner. It's not strong bc wifom.

Based on the VCs and my reading of Math as town and owo's tone, I feel owo is the scum desperate to having a scum on the wagon.

you could well be right, ive had an interupted day and my post took about 3 attempts to finish off so i may well have read the two of them wrong (and my history isn't on my side). i think if we eliminate between the pair of them, then by tomorrow there will be a pool of people who are going to be on the "not to be eliminated" list and scum are going to get trapped into a very small group

i suggest no elimination day 1 in almost all of my games. it really, really isn't indicative of anything i promise.

I don't think town not mafia would just sit there and let their elimination happen, they'd realise they need to be more active and have a few more thoughts. But we've had nothing from you.

In an ideal world we just elim both Not Mafia and Marci before elo but we can’t. Like I find it odd that Kyo is saying Salsa is scummier than Not Mafia and Marci and I want to hear that explanation.

i flipped start of day 3, i had no control over when it happened.

thoughts on my play -

all my pings from day 1 were not of scum.

i am not quiet sure how i got Not Mafia being scum, it was a vague feeling of them just being off and it turned out correct. this felt like a game where their normal levels of removal from the game hurt them as town had so little to be going on we were forced to eliminate lurkers and not let them survive to the end game.

my general plan in the game was just be my normal self, which usually gets me run up Day 1 but rarely eliminated, and then my general level of incompetence means scum are usually happy to let me live until the end game. i hoped then i would be a forced kill and town would be okish.
