fwiw i don't think that's something mena would be mad about, i do think he would be mad abt being in a day1 situation like that just after how tarot went down tho. namely, in tarot, we had a partner who got flipped within 3 hours and he kinda got really mad. if the same thing happened again like a week later this is basically exaclty what i think his reaction would look like.

i wasn't expecting, like, an 8-hour day1 but he got up to e1 like twice in that time + dats is really, really, really good at reading him and was calling him scum
ydra's hammer was probably premature (and probably scummy) but like i don't think it changed the ultimate outcome

and yeah you feel a little lost but if you were/are vla the whole time i think i can wait till you get back to get a better sense for where you're holding
and tbh if you were scum with ico idk if you would feel so lost rn

I dont think this sort of reaction is something he purposefully ~tries~ to feel, its just how he felt in real time
I believe the emotions are genuine
however, i think its something he's *much more* likely to feel as scum because:
1. He had a very similar emotional reaction to the marci flip in tarot (i.e. we have a recent example of scum-him behaving a similar way in a similar situation)
2. I think he would be upset that the same situation happened *again* so soon after the last time

Just because he did it in tarot and it ended badly doesnt preclude him from feeling the same way again

Like if its something he could control sure i think he would try to avoid it given how thia ended last time

But like i think he was genuinely feeling upset

And idk why town-him gets *that* upset there, but i can very easily imagine scum-him feeling thay way there

And uh i drank a bit so these Thoughts make sense in my head and idk jow well i'm getting these into words if this doesnt make sense lmk and i'll try again tom

But the gist of it is basically that i dont think these situations are so different - yes there were conflating factors of marci being new and cabd being *so* annoying that i think exacerbated the situation but i think scum-you gets upset here *anyways* about being in a tough situation that's fairly irreverisble so early in the day/game, *expecially* since it mirrors what happened in tarot so recently

And i dont think it was a ~rational~ reaction per se, or that you planned it - cuz yeah trying to divert off of ico *doesn't help* if you're scum there i think, and you probably know that on some level. ) Loud follower does not have a counter. The counter cannot simply “be good and creative”. Imagine for a moment loud follower and loud roleblocker + goons is the whole setup. Once down to the last goon follow the cop takes place. Roleblocker and follower work in tandem and scum can’t do shit. Scum have to be given a way to prevent follow the cop (follower).

3) Knowledge of how screwed you are and no ability to do anything about it can be rather demoralizing. This has been a trend rather sitewide. Calculasia was also guilty of this too on a worse scale. Informed is not some fix for the amount of power it just tells scum they can’t bus 99% of the time how it’s used here. Unless informed actively helps day play strategy it just tells scum “we gave town a lot of power good luck”.
