Their openers as town are usually more distinct, from experience, and tend to relate to their own role or the actual game. Here they talk about the delay but that is it.
Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. But it usually is. Sometimes you gotta dig a little deeper.
I'm trying to pack while people look at my house in between. I've been trying to get back home and still play Mafia part time lol. It's been hell.

A little early for this assumption given the slot. It's also a type of claim that could easily draw these types of conclusions, and Mafia could bank on that.In post 213, unwnd wrote:Likelihood of Rhia lying about role is zero

Well, there a couple things that come to mind, I think first and foremost is that there might be a benefit to being the person on the scum team that makes all the night kills. In post 269, GuyInFreezer wrote:For what reason would scum fakeclaim that role?
I'm not even committed to calling LLD scum, and it hadn't even crossed my mind. And to be perfectly honest, I don't care. I was 100% more interested in the people town binning LLD like she just claimed Innocent Child. But LLD's response to my post that wasn't even directed at her has definitely intrigued me. LLD is a highly prolific player and not above gambits. I simply err on the side of caution with those types.- Toogeloo

Didn't know the VC was wrong until GiF said he wasn't the L-2 vote. In fact I didn't even see the vote count. I just saw the vote, and I was already keeping track in my head.
I don't really town read anyone on my wagon. Y'all are a bunch of opportunistic mother huggers.
Anyways, since unwnd claimed intent, I'll go ahead and claim that my role is confirmable, and that I crumbed my flavor in my first and second post, Sadou Maou.- Toogeloo

Why should I town read someone who is voting me because they didn't think I crumbed post 1, someone who is power driving a paranoia case on me because I'm not willing to town read their slot on claim alone, and 3 people sheeping said power driver, one of which who admitted to not efforting and much and just giving their vote.In post 507, unwnd wrote:That's an odd read to me

/sadface
I gave some thought on this and decided that I shouldn't have even claimed I had a confirmable role. I'm going to not claim anything extra in regards to my role, and that some players just want blood early and will twist any statement to fill a narrative in their head. The only thing that might save me is my full claim, but I'm not giving it because if people can't realize they snap judged a comment or really think I'm so big a threat they want me out Day 1, then I'm not going to hinge survival on the role claim. In my opinion I've done nothing scummy, but obviously people see things differently. I'd rather just be eliminated in silence and hope town can win without my role.In post 620, ssbm_Kyouko wrote:Toog are you able to explain how you're confirmable without claiming more than you'd like to at this point? I'm all for players being wrong. It happens to everyone. I'm not down for cliques or fear-mongering.
@marci, I don't care what I look like to other people. I never have. So I think you confused my quote. To clarify it, due to my limited spurts of play time, I skim through the thread if there have many many posts, and then I try to make sure I reply to people who ask me something.- Toogeloo

The issue is that LLD is a very hot personality, and many people don't respond well to it. I'm personally just waiting for her bloodlust to find a new change in the winds if I'm so lucky, but generally hot personalities are difficult to engage with for me because I myself have a no fucks given personality, but it's passive and not aggressive.
---
On a reread of GiF's iso, I am moving them up to my strongest town read. I like how they are engaging the various players and not sticking to one hot topic.
The general vibe I'm getting from a cast majority of the player base however is that they are itching for a night phase without causing much of a commotion so that they can use their night actions.
The one player I am most concerned about is Manatee because given their role, I would have figured they would be more engaging so they can formulate a strategy or work with other players. Instead, their focus is on page tops and I worry they might snipe a random player with their double vote. I'm still not even sure what to make of the role. It seems a little "strong," in a 13 player game if they are being 100% truthful in it's specifics. However, it would have been far too easy if they could legit park a second vote on someone without having told us ahead of time of the repercussions and rode out the Double Voter claim.- Toogeloo

I'm struggling with this manatee claim the more I look at it.
The initial claim is that it kills a random townie if it's not on the Lim wagon.
Then it's clarified that it kills the person it's on if they aren't the Lim wagon.
Then it's further clarified that it's once again a random player if the vote isn't placed at all.
I feel like that is a lot of edits for one, but I'm really struggling with the random aspect of it. Is it random townie, or can scum be in the pool? Does this seem like a role that should have an actual random modifier to it? Does this seem like a role that would be more than 1-shot in a 13 player game?
I think I'm still at L-2, so why hasn't there been any discussion on where to direct this shot considering how hard LLD has been pushing to have me ran through?
I'm surprised at how little discussion has been had on this, and if the role exists it seems like a role very susceptible to scum influence.- Toogeloo

I submitted Inuyasha picks as well, but I also submitted 2 other animes with picks from those. I was not told that Inuyasha wasn't eligible, although I was told Amphibia and The Owl House were since they are Western. Inuyasha is an Isekai however, so I would disagree with that ruling. In post 1281, Lukewarm wrote:I originally wanted to pick characters from Inuyasha, because it was the only isekai anime I had ever seen before, but apparently it is not technically an isekai, and so my picks were not accepted.- Toogeloo

Ready to have your mind blown? I'm the Ultimate back-up. I get more powerful the more townies that die. Enough of them die, I can Roleblock, Jailkeep, Track, Doc, or Cop, hell, I could even neighborize another player.
But I'm going to die a VT, so it don't matter.
I did not get Inuyasha. I just submitted it and wasn't told that it wasn't eligible. I got a pick from one of the other two animes I submitted. I literally submitted 10 characters from different animes. I already claimed I was Sadou Maou, aka King Satan.- Toogeloo
