er, what i mean is based on your meta. your scum play had a much more imbalanced word count/substance ratio. Your current play seems more balanced, but you're also definitely participating more than what I saw in your town games. Based on that, either you're scum toning it down, or town improving your game, is what my thoughts were.

1) Why are you so determined to stop be pushing cyrus62? I'd understand a comment or two, but 6/13 of your posts relate basically to people wasting time pushing / policy voting cyrus62. I don't think this is AI I just find it really strange, it would be far too convenient for this to be a scum defence after all.

2) Why do you think an increase in Thor Ragnarok's activity would be scum indicative? I really had Thor Ragnarok pegged as a Jester, but nobody rolled it (provided people told the truth), and I can't think of a single case where a person wouldn't out a Jester existing.

i know i'm not him but as for 2, i'm pretty sure it's a conclusion based on Thor thinking he'd be a better player/would be better invested as a different role, and was trying to get recruited. So far the only recruiting role there is a claim for is cult. So Thor suddenly getting invested in the game = Thor was culted.
Which I don't like personally because I don't want to discourage him from playing with the role he has for the benefit of town(?), just because he might get scumread for it. But, Dragon's not necessarily

Odds of rolling the exact same role seem lower than the odds of him being scum trying to hide what he really rolled (possibly a decent scum PR that one of his buddies or he ended up with)

My issue with your meta posts more specifically is that you say something really nondescript like "They're acting similar to this game I linked"...but don't expand on what is similar or what about the similarities is actually scum indicative or town indicative. I could read an ISO if I wanted, but that's not telling me what you're actually getting out of them. Part of this also comes from the fact that I don't like metadiving. I'll use my familiarity with players from previous games I've played with them, but I'm not reading through old games I wasn't a part of and didn't have to think through in the moment to guide my opinion on a current game

What are the other examples of redtea meta reads this game? Based how you explained it it’s happened a few times up to now

partway through the game, because cyrus Became Relevant, there was the thought of "so... is he just like this or...?" And similar deal for James (who has since asked we don't use his meta against him). So I dug into it, and then ended up briefly reviewing pretty much everyone.

Besides, I have posted plenty besides that. And while most are questions, yes, it's not like there's nothing for him to go on/interact with in regards to me. So honestly, either he's being careless af, people like me weigh heavily scum for him, or... he's scum. And to be honest, I'd bet on the last, mostly based on his push on me. He's cherrypicking, regardless.

Nah, I'm just not sure of people's alignments before they flip because I'm town. And this being our first game together means I have no basis for how you tend to play so reading you D1 is that much harder. I'm trash at D1 reads in general and I don't understand how people tend to be so overly confident of reads this early in a game

Cyrus had my roll. He knew it was real. The only way he could know without a doubt that the town PC claim was fake is if he knew the Town PC rolls were fake or fudged. If fudged, it means he knew that because other town PC roles were fudged into Mafia PC roles. If faked, it means he is teamed with dwlee or marashu and knows one or both of them lied about their roll.

I think he gambled. I dont think he knew cakez claim was fake, because that would mean the other PC rolls were made mafia in addition to the existing Mafia PC. Maybe Cook balanced it this way. Maybe a Mafia Rampaging Parity Cop has a rampaging factional kill that killed all 3 players? I think T3 would roleblock cakez, and if James tried to neighborize cakez as well, then that explains all 3 kills in a reasonable way as well.

If there were explanation, then it would be a conclusion of your feelings on my posts that we could all follow. I'm almost certain dwlee is town. dwlee in a recent scum game w/ cyrus vs dwlee in a recent town game is like night and day, and I can't see dwlee mimicking his town play to a t like that without more practice.

One thing cyrus was honest about is that he does switch up his play. While his town and scum games look different, it was difficult for me to find the common threads between his scum games. I'm sure there's more to gleam, but this is all I could invest my brain in.
1) he will sr one or both partners, often from near the beginning. If one of them is close to being elimmed, will jump on the wagon quick. He will also offer himself up as a lim if there's seemingly no recovery for him. A big bussing guy, both ways.
2) he doesn't seem to hardly interact directly with his partners. If he does a lot of back and forth with someone, they are guaranteed not partners (in his games so far). Another town point for dwlee.
3) will follow others' ideas when it comes to fakeclaiming and more mech-y stuff. Will both offer and follow strategies.

We have 60% town to start, which by my math is 8/13 players. We’ve had 2 scum flips, meaning at most 3 scum can still be alive. As such I don’t really have a strong objection to the PoE except for not entirely getting why the people who are in it are there

Here's the amount of direct interactions cyrus has had with each player/slot. Cyrus seems to mostly quote people when he's talking to them, even in quick-fire back and forth, so those direct, non-encapsulated quotes are most of what I counted. There were a couple of written out '@'s I happened to catch, but I did not go out of my way to look for them, and they are few and far between. So while the count is imperfect, it should not be far off from the true count. As I used the same method of looking for interactions when meta-ing, I think this method is reliable enough. In nature it's only fit to show a big picture, rather than split hairs over, anyway.

Mega/Gamma is kept separate for obvious reasons (highlighted blue to stand out), but I thought I'd include them in the count anyway.

This is the perfect opportunity to fakeclaim a real town role later if I need"

But T3 would know that really there were 2 cult rolls. He would be the only player that knows this. So he would be on the lookout for anyone softing Voyeur as being the cult leader. Not super confident, but I think this is also a slot that can be resolved later. That said, Thor's play today has just been to turtle - rely on the PGO claim to challenge anyone to night action target him, while attacking people who question his towniness. I haven't seen any critical thinking here. I would absolutely believe 3PS here, but would also not risk letting him live if he changes his claim.

If I'm certain, based on Cyrus's meta, that within his first three stated scumreads, one of them will be his partner, that means that based on that second scale, at least one of {ssbm_kyouko, nero cain, rmh, as highlighted} is his partner.

The first scale provides supporting evidence and helps to sort that pool. The three fewest interactions he has are with me, cain, and rmh. I know I'm town, so I don't include myself. Next after myself would be dragon, but Cyrus sr'd him, and did so very late. Cyrus doesn't seem to sr his partners late, he either does it early or not at all (the latter of which is rarer). So I exclude Dragon. After that the list gets messy, so I more or less disregard it.

Kyouko, while technically on the higher end of interactions, is still separated from the third most- james- by 10 interactions, putting her at the higher end of an average amount of interactions with him.

So, since she didn't have a relatively extreme amount of interactions with him, I'm still willing to include her, since I give more weight to when the sr is first given than the number of interactions. Since her place in the pool isn't as set-in-stone as nero and rmh however, I'd rather start with one of those two. Before doing this meta, I thought maybe RMH could've been being honest about being double vig. After meta-ing, I have more doubts, but I could still believe it. So, I vote Nero, who I don't have any qualms about voting.

My (very limited) observations are that suspicions and wagons often ignite and grow in a stochastic way. Players talk each other into scum reading or town reading certain players and the scum is happy to lend a hand if the mod lands on a townie, or if they feel it might be advantageous to throw their partner under the bus. Gamma has been very good at providing a steady stream of unambiguous opinions. He is putting himself forward, scum reading some players that are widely town read (if Gamma was scum, he could easily go with the flow and not rock the boat).

I find that he is rocking the boat a lot, maybe that is the reason why others find him scummy? I'm probably wrong, we'll see after the game, but my gut tells me that rocking the boat is something that town will want to do, not scum. I haven't had the opportunity to play town much myself, so take it with a grain of salt.

Well there's likely two scum left, it's not out-of-the-question that one is "rocking the boat" and one is going along with it. A good scumteam does both imo

Tbh I didn't think there were 2 3rd party and 1 scum left...I felt comfortable with Redtea's vote sitting out because I thought they were on scum so there wasn't a chance at a quick hammer. The only way for town to win going into that last day was for us to both go gamma right away with Nero and then Nero kill RMH because we locktowned him rather than killing Redtea who had the guilty

Yeah... and I wasn't going to give up my Nero vote easily anyway. Even if I thought both were paired, I didn't want to be drawn away by a surprise scum!you when I had that guilty on Nero if I could help it.
