Bookmarked global announcements not showing in bookmark list

I want to bookmark an announcement but it doesn't show up in the list of bookmarks. The problem seems to only affect global announcements - the 2021 Scummies nominations topic shows up fine. It happens regardless of whether the topic is locked or not.

To reproduce:
1) go to a global announcement like https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12139 or https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=83860
2) select "Bookmark topic" at the bottom.
3) go to bookmarks list. The topic isn't there, when it should be.
3) you can also confirm the topic is still bookmarked by going back to it - it should now have the option to remove instead of add.

I'm not the only one who uses the bookmarks function, right? Adding to subscriptions works fine, but I'm picky about what topics I want emails for. I've had the ban thread bookmarked for years but it's never been visible in my bookmarks as far as I remember.

Global Announcements are just really glitchy in a lot of ways. Maybe try bookmarking it from it's actual parent forum.
