Yeah, this. All the post has done is let us all know Titus will be handing out fruit, while still leaving us none the wiser as to whether it's scum fruit. Would be very amusing if format has no Town CFV.In post 160, T3 wrote:

Mafia vendors could have just sent fruit to each other. Town has no save target for their fruit.
I believe scum would be too paranoid of the attention they'd draw claiming fruit vendor when it's public knowledge there are 2 scum fruit vendors.
And agree that T3 probs town.- MargotRosa

Repeating the same word is not tautological.
Using an adjective and then separately describing the thing using the same adjective is the most basic form of tautology.
Getting out of this while I'm ahead lol. It's been a wild week, and my mind can't handle this kind of weird nit-picking of definitions of words that I definitely know the meaning of lol.
No, but calling someone else's vote weak, and justifying calling it weak with a tautological statement is the kind of flippancy I expect from scum, and I wanted to see how they would reactIn post 227, Titus wrote:

I adore you but complaining about players handing out too many townreads on page 11 is scummy.
I was referring to the WAY she townread me.
"Congrats! Here you go! Run along now."
The vibe I reported isn't so much a Town read as a 'this is what I'd expect if someone was susceptible to reacting in certain ways and was Town' read.- MargotRosa

Will always be pretty absent on Saturdays (only full day I spend with another person each week lol) but to give you all something to talk about in my absence:
VOTE: Alchemist
For someone who's vote is based on posts that look forced, there are a lot of forced posts in your ISO.
Only person to comment directly on both T3 spams, and an array of puns, dry jokes, and nothing comments to fill out a post count which contains maybe 10% (if I'm being generous) actual game related content.
Would link post numbers, but on phone and with partner.

In this instance, a scum who has to post to avoid looking scummy, but because they aren't positing for any natural reason, comes across as unnatural, out of step with the vibe of the game more generally, and without clear direction or motivation beyond looking TownieIn post 538, Alchemist21 wrote:

Posts like this make me pause. Feels way too confident, especially given that Cakez, on d1 while LGW was on the way out, straight up admitted to mindmeld with them in 555 (which I remember someone else pointing out).In post 848, House wrote:Alchemist fakeclaimed. Chaos outed & will die tonight. Last scum is either Cakez or DGB.
I think that sums things up.
Aside from anything else, we're at d3, and spent almost twice as much time asleep than awake.
Again, LGW was a solid bet, and Alch was lock scum for me at least about halfway through d1. Can we spend some time actually getting to know everyone a bit and get some vibes going now that the two obvious scum have gone down?- MargotRosa

Of those 5, I'm currently least sure about House. He has the bravado of an overcompensating scum trying to seem like Town hero by making a lot of celebratory posts without having actually contributed much other than restating observations other people have already made, just louder

Yes, but the point I was making is that, if the only reason we had to eliminate Alch was that they were noncommital, it would have been a bad reason to eliminate them. They were obviously scum for completely different reasons. In post 896, Shrek wrote:

im literally giving an example of why being noncommittal doesnt mean someone is town and saying that since alch voted for me to try to sway things and not end the day then that clears me
I'm just saying that being on, or off, a wagon isn't necessarily indicative of whether the slot is scum or town, and I seriously doubt that every scum in this game was playing to the same meta.- MargotRosa

I mean, we've had a good first few days, so we have some eliminations in the back pocket. I just don't want those two early wins to derail into overconfidence, expectations of victory, and then anarchy when the initial overconfidence doesn't pay off and a surefire Town win manages to go off the rails.- MargotRosa

I need to dig up the stats thread that was posted in the strategy sub-forums, and which I was looking through the other day. TLDR; when a scum is voted out, and elimination occured at e-n (where n > 2), well over 50% of those votes had at least one scum in them, and in many instances (e-5 for example), scum hammered their partner in around 30% of votes.
We've had two eliminations, and you're saying that the two scum (and the one scum) took part in neither?- MargotRosa

Honestly, even if House is a mislim, it'll be value getting him out if only because, thus far d4, he has obstructed and grandstanded his way to derailing the conversation away from discussing who scum is right now, to talking exclusively about why he's been the most trustworthy slot since d1, which he absolutely has not been.In post 878, MargotRosa wrote:

I am going to step away from this thread for the next half day at least. House, get your shit together. In that time, I want you to think really carefully about how you might change up your behaviour so as to stop being a massive cunt towards the one conf town in this game. I came on the site to have fun. This isn't fun for me right now. It's putting up with an arsehole who needs to wake up to himself.
I'm trying to give you your day in court. I haven't voted you yet, though lord fucking knows I should have. Calm down with the arrogant bullshit and start playing the game without the fuckery.

This game has been exhausting. Like, if you're Town, you have been going for quick tunnels, and the moment a tunnel isn't happening, you get twitchy to the point of self voting just to progress to twilight. In post 1041, Shrek wrote:VOTE: shrek
go n_m show these people to put their money where their mouth is
If we assume the best of everyone who is posting and say everyone who has at least two independent town reads is Town, that means current Town reads list is Titus, myself, Sbf, House, and Shrek. That leaves Dgb and N_M.
N_M has not posted enough to have an ISO worth diving right now. Dgb is the only one left.
I'm happy to eliminate Dgb and go from there.
I'm also going to lay all the cards on the table. I am not a friendly neighbour. I am a Neighbourizer. Won't say everyone that is in the neighbourhood, but Titus is in it. I had some niggling doubts when I brought her in, and probably would have brought House in but for the fact that I figured I'd get a clear picture of whether Titus was Town or not in the neighbourhood rather than out of it. That is about as deceptive as I get, and in this case I think it worked, and we have a neighbourhood that is only Town.
Tonight, I'm going to invite Shrek to the neighbourhood, which they'll get into irrespective of whether or not I'm eliminated. When you come in Shrek, you can read through and gauge whether or not Titus is Town. I'm happy to give Shrek a strong Town lean for now, and put my support behind the neighbourhood's inhabitants also. What happens tomorrow is up to whoever is still alive then, but would like a sheep on this vote please.
