I was referring to typing VOTE: when already using the vote tags. This is my first mafia game on the site, I'm still wrapping my head around the system.

I'm coming from an experience of mostly IRL mafia.

While there, I've found it very hard for myself to add anything meaningful to a conversation. No matter my alignment, I feel like everything I say is self-incriminating.
If someone has confidence tips for helping move the game forward without feeling like a fool I would love to know.

In chat mafia, early bws are a pretty decent indicator of Mafia so sorry about that ig?

I'd say bandwagons were a big indicator in some of my IRL games. I assume it was because there was less time to talk and the scum couldn't speak with one other. We were all pretty bad at mafia though >.<
Is that your only reason for voting Cheeky currently?

I agree that a PoE of 5 is very agreesive but I don't think it means they are mafia.

I have to say that I pretty much read everybody town so far. However, I'm not sure what makes camelCasedSnivy, CheekyTeeky, or DaTacoX, mafia. I do find it confusing why camelCasedSnivy read themselves as Mafia. I have to say that these reads might change later.

Never said DTX was mafia. Cheeky probs is mafia bc of their poe and their bw and also you really took my self suspicion seriously.

I don't want to sound too nagging, but for future reference, I believe that the site's meta is to not claim unless you are in DIRE circumstances. There are exceptions of course, but it's an otherwise bad idea. Claiming vanilla tells the scum that you aren't a power role and therefore their attention should be on killing other people who are more likely to cause trouble.
It might help if an (SE) player could elaborate on this?

It might not be as impactful in a game when there are tons of vanilla roles though...

To further elaborate, getting yourself out of a suspicious position without revealing your role is best because it doesn’t give the scum as much information.
That doesn’t apply of course if you are actually scum yourself trying a to make a play.
(Not that it’s normally a good idea for scum to fake-claim either)

Was putting a reads list together before I came in the thread, wrote at the top of the doc "snake guy is scummy af" without realising I am now the snake guy. Alas, I am Town, and clearly have bad reads on first impression

It is currently 2am where I am, so I'm going to try and get some sleep and remake the reads list in the morning

I've been kind of hinting at this with my questions, but I don't like the way camel and flow trap have been interacting.
It feels to me like they agree on all points, but are forcibly keeping each other at a "mildly suspicious" status.

Here are a few examples:

You have to be willing to go further when putting pressure on someone. It can be okay to put someone all the way to E-1 because that will incite more panic, and (because of this site's meta) they actually probably won't get killed immediately unless a scum hops on (revealing themselves) or if a town member makes a bad play and doesn't declare an intent to hammer.

The reason I initially agreed to this was that out of all the questions RegRider could have asked with their limited time, they chose to ask about RH9's site history.
Besides that, the only other thing they've done so far this game was put fake pressure on Cheeky.

There is no specific order to the people within the same category.
Anyone in neutral has either done things that go both ways or hasn't provided enough info.

Town == camelCasedSnivy
Town Lean == CheekyTeeky, RH9
Neutral == Prism, MargotRosa, flow trap
Scum Lean == Connordragon07
Scum == RegRider

I'll take questions on any of my choices. A few of them were stretched a bit to fill out each list category.

I kind of agree with DaTacoX's townread, but I'm not sure about Prism and RegRider. They both seem helpful and have somewhat good defences as to why they're not anti-Town.

Apparently they think RegRider is mafia because they asked why RH9, a player who had their account for two years, was playing in the newbie queue. Just a genuine question and he's getting voted for it.

It's more than that for me.

1. Voted on Cheeky for "pressure" then unvoted immediately when she was barely close to being eliminated.
2. Suspicious of flow for looking into and questioning his earlier messages. (Never actually answered the question)
3. Only comments thus far are on messages directed towards himself and responding negatively to Cheeky's posts.

Because of the lack of content and the fact that I've interpreted a lot of it to be suspicious, I consider RegRider to be the safest vote today.

I don't think he was really trying to accomplish anything. He didn't give any good reason other than putting on "pressure" which we've stated several times doesn't work if you declare or abandon it early.
Also, every time I count the votes She was at E-3, not E-2.

As for why I unvoted Cheeky immediately after voting her at E-3, the way I look at votes is more like, this person is doing something suspicious. If I like whatever answer I get, I can unvote, but if I don't my vote stays. Even if you think its odd I would immediately unvote, Cheeky herself just switched to Connor, basically dooming my wagon.

But you didn't unvote Cheeky because of a response? The only message between then and your unvote was camel stating that Cheeky was at E-2?
