I'm glad I was basically right about dunn
his scumplay recently has felt extremely one-dimensional ngl
I also think I'm borderline obvtown based on how he pushed against me
I don't feel like that event really helped to bring toog into the light like I'd hoped it might
the two of them felt very terse so it very well could have been S/SWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

unwnd's attitude seems to have perked up based on his posting in here tho, which is prolly a good sign for himWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I notice the teams are based on who was on/off the toog wagon for the third event
anyway, my ranking of the pink team in order from most willing to nominate to least rn is (toog, ulyana, dwlee, infinity, skitter, taly) though there's a massive gap between toog and everyone elseWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I already commented that the divide seems based on the voting status from the last event, our group is all the remaining toog votersIn post 54, unwnd wrote:I'm pretty sure tweetie wouldn't just make this the epic blue town group and all the scum are over there

i obliged because i knew we could get dunn in the duel and he was the far far far far far stronger scumread
actually he strongly advertised for Infinity's flip, in a duel with dunn though, so you were kinda right mbWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I have not been getting those vibes but I think gypyx was on the forwards side and I was mostly focused on the inverted side
can you describe his play in that game for me?We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

yup, dead scum is dead scum, though it is fun to hit several of them squarely with solid scumreadsIn post 72, unwnd wrote:
Better that he is and he's townIn post 67, petapan wrote:cakez is going to be insufferable if he had multiple correct reads that i was shielding
I don't really personally care about pelts
It's all relative to me
I dunno how but I feel like there've been multiple games in recent history where my reads have been basically top-class (Radio Buzz, Dead Silence 3, Gensokyo technically because while I didn't always push scum I helped drive people to eliminate scum on days 1 and 2). I don't know what the magic formula is and tbh I don't care to try and find out because I think it's best if I just learn my strengths naturally. My biggest issue is that despite working to curb the habit, I still end up doing the thing called out in WSB where I end up hard TRing scum and blocking elims on them, it's not an all-the-time thing but I've become very keenly aware of it since your hydra made that commentWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

Part of my ulyana feelings are based in effort justification
I worked pretty closely with her to try and get a sense of her game, and I liked what I saw. I don't wanna go back on that hard work, even if she does seem suspicious on some level. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

the first event sabo was probably some way to deny someone the chair, whether it be by killing them or just veto'ing the vote.

Peta, I’m not really inclined to go back on a TR here when every time you sus one of them it’s the same shit of quoting posts out of context, saying they look bad, and giving nothing else to really work with imo.

We're not nominating Taly, infinity, or skitter. I'm hard veto'ing those at this point.
I'm tired of yielding on reads I feel like are on point. I feel like this game I've been pretty decent, since I suspected Dunn pretty early on. Cephrir was a misfire but I think that's because I didn't understand how to read him yet. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

Team solving is for the weak. I fare much better when I just aim to peg all the scum in a row, I’d say. All your attempts to find Dunn partners has done is lead you suspect slots I feel should never be eliminated. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

In Radio Buzz I was only able to get 2/3 into my definitive SRs on D1 because I’d felt like DGB made more sense as scum with House/Roden rather than Cephrir.
In Gensokyo, I ended up hyper-focusing on Norwegianboyee’s bad interactions with the scum rather than my bad vibes from Sanae in the endgame, resulting in a loss.
It’s basically folly to ever assume a team has any sort of real plan they’re all acting on. I even fielded this exact same foolish thought from scum!Roden in LN 235 the same way I’m fielding it here and now: by refusing to stoop to that level.
I mean, you yourself should know how wild team interactions can get after how NK15 acted in FGO 2.We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I feel like my townblock this game is solid, same as I felt in Radio Buzz. In that game I had all 3 scum in my bottom 5 after I factored out all of my TRs. When I tried to teamsolve from there, I ended up with a 2/3 solve. That’s part of why I’m like “fuck associatives”, because that’s a big factor in why I got led astray from having the right final read.
Plus, I think it’s better to wait to associative hunt until we get another red flip. In LN 235, I ended up with a 3 person PoE with both of the remaining scum in it when I reread scum ISOs after the second scum flipped. One scum flip is not enough data IMO.We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

idr if I've had a completed game with gammagooey, I'm real hype ngl
also, my fetters are finally undone, so I can finally talk about this. I feel like the way unwnd's replace in kinda got treated was somewhat similar to what happened when Titus replaced in for Toogeloo in Isekai UPick. In both scenarios it seemed like there was a certain refusal to re-consider the slot's position, and the player themselves wasn't really helping either. As such I'm probably adding Gammagooey to the [True Townblock]We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

this is something I wasn't entirely conscious of, can you post some quotes? In post 288, Gammagooey wrote:I'm at page 50, kinda confused by the switching at this point from Gamma Emerald to my predecessor - there was a mini-wagon on Dunn that seemed like it got completely derailed by skitter posting like 15 times in a row about Galrond? I wish I could ask her what she thought of Dunn at the time, she asked Gamma Emerald why he was voting Dunn over Ceph but like Dunn doesn't feel like he did anything town-worthy at that point in the game yet
also, wrt Infinity, I'm kinda pulling the same card I used to pull when reading MariaR. That is, we are so familiar with each other that we can read each other based on how the other reads us, or at least I can read infinity based on how she reads me. Her progression on me makes perfect sense as town, and the best-fit agenda I can see for if she were scum is trying to pocket me, in which case her concern about TRing me for things scum!me can do feels out of place, and the Prism/Gypyx progression seems a bit wacky for that too. It took her quite some time after shifting back to TRing me to go after Gypyx. While I don't think the Gypyx push is entirely well-founded I think it's probably a towntell how she came to it. Town are generally more likely to have that sort of natural "I let this go and still think there's something here, I'm gonna pick it up again" attitude. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

okay so I read those pages, I don't feel like skitter entirely meant to distract from dunn, it feels more like she just had many thoughts to share

I still feel like Toog would be the BEST nomination but I’m working with what I’ve got.
I really hope this is just a straight-up gladiator match because if one of my strongest TRs dies to fuckery after you FOOLS voted her into the hot seat, there will be no room to hide. I’m basically just hoping the other side actually has the ability to pick someone sensible, I feel like the ACTUAL consensus here is on Ulyana but somehow Infinity is at N-1.We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

Looking at ISOs I don’t trust the other side to make an acceptable choice on this end, so I’m sticking to my guns. Get off Infinity, NOW. I am invoking Burden of Proficiency on this one. reading over this game again, Infinity can absolutely have a bad go of it as town

some of you "prefer" infinity but I think it'd be better to actually give her a chance to talk first.
