I really don't think that's good enough or something we should be following. Could you at least categorize where the read comes from? Her tone, reads, effort etc.

Because personally, Infinity is my only real good stagehand read in that group.

Toogeloo is still dead weight if contestant and nothing is

clearing

between them and Dunnstral, but for the simple fact that Stagehand-Stagehand competing wagons are less likely than Stagehand-Contestand, they should probably get a pass until we hear from the other group and what they've been doing. I don't know, maybe they've actually started trying.

Infinity has weird reads and switches her reads on the drop of a hat, like when she voted me for expressing a contestantread on Ydrasse. Plus, there's the vote on Dunnstral which looks like a bus.

Whoever said ulyana isn't actually going many places with her questioning raises a good point, I'd just assumed it was and she was treating the game like a murder mystery, but the questioning doesn't seem to lead to many conclusions.

I think her assessment on unwnd-Toogeloo being okay with being locked in as well as players supporting it theory was contestanty though. Although probably incorrect, it was nuanced and seems like a very strange thing to push and talk about so much in the thread as a stagehand.

I haven't been paying much attention to actually reading Taly since early on in the game if I'm being honest. I read his cheery motivational style as very contestanty early on. The strange Dunnstral progressions that have been brought up are interesting and something I'll have to dig into when I get back from holiday tomorrow.

i have decided after reading the first 23ish pages that I like Prism (who is Gypyx now) and Dwlee for town so far and that skitter gets my mmmmMMmmm of the day award

ulyana looks fine so far and that seems worth mentioning since it seems like the vague consensus of Team Blue is that she's scummy but also looking ahead she doesn't place her first vote until like page 40 something so eh

skitter's felt like a contestant to me, seemed like she's been pushing out unfiltered thoughts and whatever's on her mind. She also apparently had decent interactions with Dunnstral though I haven't verified this myself.

Actually, this is probably not very valid if no one actually agrees with or sees the theory though, she could just be finding something useful looking to do as a stagehand.

some of you "prefer" infinity but I think it'd be better to actually give her a chance to talk first. That's why Toog is my explicit preference, he's the only one in that group where I feel like prolonged questioning wouldn't be useful, he's clearly demonstrated a give-no-fucks attitude towards this game

also, wrt Infinity, I'm kinda pulling the same card I used to pull when reading MariaR. That is, we are so familiar with each other that we can read each other based on how the other reads us, or at least I can read infinity based on how she reads me. Her progression on me makes perfect sense as town, and the best-fit agenda I can see for if she were scum is trying to pocket me, in which case her concern about TRing me for things scum!me can do feels out of place, and the Prism/Gypyx progression seems a bit wacky for that too. It took her quite some time after shifting back to TRing me to go after Gypyx. While I don't think the Gypyx push is entirely well-founded I think it's probably a towntell how she came to it. Town are generally more likely to have that sort of natural "I let this go and still think there's something here, I'm gonna pick it up again" attitude.

No offence, but I think you're selling Infinity way short if you don't think she's capable of reading you as a contestant as a stagehand.

You're going into this with a mindset of Infinity having two options as a stagehand:
-Taking advantage of how you're being read and also read you as a stagehand
-Read you as a contestant to pocket you

When in reality, stagehands are just faking reads because they have to most of the time, and most reads don't have specific motivations behind them.

The reasoning here to call Dunn a contestant is just bad, in my opinion. Feels like an excuse to explain why Infinity isn't voting for her stagehand colleague.

Dunn is the first name listed in Infinity's solve here, but there's been absolutely no mention of him since the post where she called him a contestant for being wagoned.

No conclusion either way in this post.

nope sorry, i read infinity’s iso and wow that is bad.

she consistently had dunn just out of danger; in her poe but always a bit higher than the people that she voted and the only time she caved was when a wagon cropped up.

i’m on mobile so i can’t quote easily but she has an early game solve as like, me/dunn/galron/cephrir, and assuming gooey is townslot (i think so atm) thats... horribly wrong and i don’t think that infinity is usually that far off

the reasons that she townreads dunn enough are weak too, the fact he was an early wagon, accepting one reply from him as fair enough; her scumread extends from pooky’s reasoning and not her own. also means she rated toog + dunn the same on play as scumleans which, uh, hm

And the probably the best thing pointing to Infinity-stagehand; after all that umming and ahhing, all it takes for Infinity to vote Dunn is this:

She's got away with not voting Dunn for as long as possible, but as soon as she feels he's actually gonna be the vote, she finally votes him. Peta posting that without giving any reasons for why Dunn is a stagehand should not be enough for her to finally vote him.

Just feels like a clear cut example of how a stagehand treats a stagehand on stage.
