I don't agree with any of this. Dannflor has two posts with one unexplained vote and a minor shade at me tacked to it. I don't think it's inherently scummy, it's just null. His intentions are pretty veiled at the moment. I think that can mostly be true of everyone else besides like Pooky/Kaz and maybe House. I don't get how you (or kaz) and now even Loftwing(?) can make readlists this early. I don't think these efforts are being comfortable rather they're remarkably out of place and preemptive. That's the impression I got about Kaz and in general. Nobody is playing in such a way that makes me feel comfortable putting them on a list.

this game needs, but I don't know if it was needed. Kaz is being strange. A lot of people talked about it. My own take is that they're fidgety and their opinions are overwrought.

A bit of meta takes: Kaz is not the most orderly player. I've played about 2-3 games with them now and I never find much method to why they do things. Kaz's own response to this is that people think they're 'evil' early, but like. Nothing they've done I think is necessarily evil? I don't know why they chose that description because I would describe them as 'aloof' personally. Typically what people look for in townies are those who are willing to be unguarded and give out their opinions. They've doubled down on themselves and made a minor case on Pooky and called them an SK. I think this is all ridiculous, especially so because it came back-to-back-to-back. Kaz gave themselves no set period of time where they just let their opinions lie, and instead just kept moving along. I am not a fan of this because readlists to me are done because you want people to take them in and see how people react to them. If the readlist they gave was of import, why does it seem like it is not really determining anything at this rate. It came so early and without warning and now it seems like Kaz doesn't even care and is just on to the next thing.

this seems like decent thoughts for the most part, but reads list can be done for any number of reasons. My most common are to put my own thoughts in order, force myself into more concrete stances when I think it's called for, or to display current headspace. A notable time I dislike making read lists is when people say my reads are unclear; they're commonly not as unclear as people say, folks just can't bother to look for them.

LLD’s entrance felt kinda organic in a way that I unfortunately can’t really dive into yet but I expect will make sense when I get to it. The only thing I could say I’m concerned about is her immediate trust that I’m town by how she asserted I was misreading her, but given how Dwlee has interacted with me that’s also entirely understandable. However, Loftwing was weird and while I can kinda see his posting being town it was still not great.
House I think has felt about the same as he did in PYP, and just in general seems to have good intentions. I also think if he’s scum here he doesn’t react the way he did to Pooky’s dumb meta argument. But it’s also D1 and I’m not as assured as I was in PYP that I can read House super-duper easily.

When I said I wouldn’t trust Dann without a cop clear on him, that was me actually crumbing my intent to check there. My original plan was to check Gork+Dann because they were acting as a single unit in a ah that probably wasn’t S/S so I would have basically been checking whether there was a number-one-fan situation or a scum-town molecule had been formed. I changed my mind on both targets, as unwnd was someone I felt more confident I could push a read on without having to claim it was based on a result, and Kazyan felt more certain to be town than even Gork.
My concern that led me to be very against claiming today was that I suspected this could be a cult game because I recall this game having a “yes this can have bastard elements” in the queue and neither of them felt like they were playing like a cult leader. As such, I figured if that concern was right, I would basically be putting a MASSIVE target on my back by claiming out-of-turn. And then I got shut down hard on pushing out unwnd without claiming because of the protection claim, and I decided “fine, rather than fight a thread current that’s way to strong against me, I’ll float along for a phase and try to push out the one Wolf read everyone else seems to agree on”.
